It was the time Avni was bought home for the final Good Bye. All wrapped in a white Sheet indicating the Angle she was is finally at peace. Everyone was present in the hall near her except two people - Neil and Neelanshi.

In a room, a little girl was placing all her toys in a box and kept wiping her tears from her cheeks. Those were red by constant rubbing her small hands that could four times behold in an adult hand were the all wet cause of the tears. Her Koal was smudged but still being the combination of both she looked beautiful and cute in that too. It's been 3 hours since She was indirectly informed regarding the permanent departure of her mother and here she is packing her toys and childishness in a box. While a pair of eyes were continuously looking at her with a plethora of emotions. 

Neelanshi was muttering something in between her hiccups and constant tear wiping and this made Neil chuckle with tears in his eyes. Exact replica of Avni Neil Khanna always muttering something either she was angry or extremely sad just like her mother. Neil let those tears in his eyes beheld there and let his view remain blur something looks beautiful as it is.

Until now he was sitting on the floor joining his knees together holding them together through clasped hands but now he stood up and very gently stood behind his daughter Oh! their daughter. Putting his hands on her shoulder and again just like her mother, she relaxed in the warmth of her father's hand. Without turning she kept her hand on his hand that was on her shoulder. Nodding her head slightly having her back towards him Neelanshi bent down and picked the box that contained all her toys gifted by her Mumma. Wiping her tears one last time she stood and carried that box with her and kept it inside the cupboard on the lowest shelf.

And then she turned to his father. One look in her eyes and Neil can only see his Avni shining in her eyes smiling at him gesturing her to make their daughter understand the situation. Neil bent to her level smiling and cupping her chubby cheeks in his hands inhaling a deep breath he assembled the words to make her calm. 

Neil: You are my Wildy aren't You? 

Neelanshi nodded her head still wiping her tears that were now flowing on his hands as he was cupping her face and he smiled looking at her innocence.

Neil: Then my Wildy won't cry. Listen as we both were always in a team to tease Mum and she was annoyed so now she is tired and is having rest and we both Wildy- Dadda will be playing alone and Mum will rest. You are My Avni Neelanshi Khanna Right? so now be my Wildy strong Tigress and roar. bacha I am there na! We both are enough for each other. Also now we don't have the fear of hiding gems while playing doctor - doctor after all Mum is not...

His voice was choking inside but he plastered the smile fulfilling the promise he did to Avni when her soul was talking to him. But as soon as he said his daughter surprised him cupping his face with her tiny Lil hands and smiling and then she spoke.

Neelanshi: Yes Dadda we both will be in a team and leave mum alone she loose in this game and we will be winning always but Dadda I won't be playing Doctor- Doctor again.

He was drinking his tears back and the lump that formed in his throat. He flung his head low thinking that his daughter is now going to leave her childhood behind. But her next sentence surprised him more.

Neelanshi: I wanna serve my country Dadda Just like Mumm I wanna be next Avni oppsie Sorry I will be Mumma Avni Neelanshi Khanna. And You see I will kick off this disease Yun by snapping her tiny fingers but failed.

Neil smiled proudly hi chest was broad why not? after all his Wildy daughter is on the path to be next Avni and that's what he wanted.

Neelanshi: And for being a doctor I have to study more and have to wear Googles just like Mumma while reading gesturing him through her hands and again his vision blurred.

Neil nodded picked her up in his arms and cocooned him all rubbing her nose with his and then rubbed his index finger near her earlobe and it worked she giggled that's what peace is for him now onwards listening to her giggles and then searching his wife giggling inside deep somewhere forever.

Both daughter and father walked downstairs in the hall interwinding their hands together smiling but the whole family was crying inside observing the fake smile the father-daughter duo were wearing. Neil then again looked at her who was sleeping peacefully in that white sheet and that did that his eyes showed the storm it was carrying his grip tightened on Neelanshi and she looked up at him than at their hands. Tugging his shirt she hugged his knees and showed her warm smile while his attention moved from the lifeless Avni to the Avni hugging his legs looking at him smiling.  He picked her up and went towards their support system who was here just for the time that will slip like sand and then will walk away forever.

Neil bent in front of her and lifted the sheet and his eyes carried many emotions. Her face was shining but her head was having marks deep wounds then he held her hands they were as cold as gelid and there were bruises on her arms. Yes, she slept permanently after serving the country. Some bastards and illiterate Stone Peltes without any mercy made her walk away forever.

During this pandemic, all doctors or the majority of them died and were injured due to stones and heavy objects that hit them. Like really? God is reaching to you through them. He the supreme savior is treating you in disguise of their hands and you instead of worshipping them and bowing to them are throwing stones! They don't care which caste creed religion you belong to they just treat you like God really will treat you, unlike few believers that He will punish who doesn't belives in Him. And what they want is just your safety you being cured fastly and what they receive a merciless death. 

Avni slept covering herself permanently with that white sheet cause she was attacked and died on spot. Serving the nation just like a soldier taking all the bullets in the form of stones on her and protecting citizens within the borders. Caring and curing her family of those patients she finally took a leave a long leave.

Neil caressed her forehead and kissed her there one last time. With a smile lingering on his lips he spoke

Neil: Sleep tight Wifey after all Thak Gayi hogi na tum upar se Wildy ka dhyan bhi rakhna padta tha Phir mere tantrums alag. Koi baat nahi tum rest karo main hoon na sab sambhal lunga. Neelanshi time se uthegi Brush bhi kar legi main uske baal bhi poch dunga aur pleats bhi banana sikh lunga. Sab ghar mein time se sare kaam karenge and haan main proper neend bhi lunga jaisa tum humesha kehti ho! Par jab main kuch bhul jaun to mujhe yaad dilane aa jana. 
Aur Neelanshi ne kaha hai she will be next doctor like you. Acha suno Jab bore hona to mujhe bhi bula lena. Ek baar Neelanshi ki care aur responsibility puri karloon. TAke care of yourself wifey.

Listening to his talks whole family were crying silently but Neelanshi hugged him from back

Neelanshi: Aap bhi mujhe chod ke chale jaoge? Phir main kiske sath khelungi Kon mera teddy banke soyega main Ice cream kisse magungi. Dadda don't be a cheater Mum Ko chodo we are in a team. Katti Mumma APne Dadda ko sad kiya I won't talk to you but mujhse pehle to aap hi gussa ho aur baat nahi kar rahi!

Neil hugged her and wiped her tears and rubbed her nose with his and she smiled getting the assurance that he won't leave her. Then Neelanshi lay on her flat and hugged her kissed her cheeks and touched her feet.

Everyone was amazed by the strong reaction of such a small child. Neil put his hand on her forehead blessing his daughter then he took sindoor and filled his Queen's forehead one last time coloring her toes red with Alta and touching her feet not only as she served to be a doctor but also touched her feet cause she is the queen of his life how boldly she manged everything and completed his life. She must be respected. Finally being a newly married bride she was taken to the cremation ground. She was placed on the pyre as high above the ground she definitely was above in terms of status. Neil was handed to cremate her as he is her husband. Setting the fire to cover all around her she turned into ashes.

Just like that how taking 7 rounds of this fire they were tied in holy matrimony and now the same fire converted her into ashes making her free from this cloth from this body and releasing her soul it was night when she was cremated Neil looked upward and then a star shined indicating She is there with him watching him being there and he waved and smiled carrying Neelanshi on his shoulder he went back home. Everyone was in extreme grief and there in a room, Nel was having Neelanshi in his arms, not Avni. Just like Avni said and like her mother, she kept her tiny hands around his neck one leg on his stomach, and finally hiding her face in her father's neck.

The next morning Neil caressed the empty side of the bed woke up and then made tea for himself as all were sleeping or just weren't in the state to show up for each other. Just like he promised Avni he had Tea the difference was he was sipping alone and nobody was there to accompany him.

Neil: Avni Wildy Get up, see it's time for cleaning yourself. He picked Neelanshi who has her mouth open and eyes closed seems like she was in deep slumber. He took her to the balcony kissed her forehead as he did with Avni always and Neelanshi opened her eyes. He pointed her to look in a direction. She first kissed his cheeks and looked there to see the sun shining but was carrying a motherly embrace as the shine touched them they both closed their eyes and said in Union

Neelanshi and Neil: Good Morning Queen! wishing their queen a good morning.

Both father-daughter smiled and went inside. Neil put Neelanshi down and went to select her dress, when he turned back he noticed mischief in her eyes. Keeping her index finger on her cheeks she tilted her head right side and opened her arms indicating Neil to lift her up in his arms. He smiled kissed her cheeks and carried her but still, Neelanshi was smiling mischievously. 

Both entered the bathroom. Neil made her stand beside him and applied the paste on her toothbrush and passes it to her. Neelanshi refused to take it. This went on few times and then Neil bent to her level squeezed her cheeks with his left and started brushing her teeth with his right hand. 

Then turn the shower on setting the temperature a little warm. Sat on the floor and made his Wildy sit on his lap water was flowing all over them and being a child it was difficult for Neelanshi to breathe between running water so she opened her mouth and inhaled. Neil chuckled at her act and then towered her still sitting, being covered by her father she looked up with her big doe-shaped eyes and then pulled his cheeks. Neil applied shampoo on her hair taking each hair and soaking it. While she took the foam and made a mustache and beard Neil scrunched his nose and just like his Avni she pulled his nose saying " You Look Cute Dadda Just Like Me ".

Tears made way through his eyes and then two small hands cupped his face and wiped them off nodding her head in No and he smiled. Seems like his Neelanshi would remind him about ' her ' in every action. He then cleansed both of them and then cocooning her in the towel he made themselves out from the bathroom. Making her ready for the day was new and over joyful for her.

When he put her hands in the sleeves Neelanshi would make a fist and then pull over the top on her shoulder. She acts like a flying airplane with her hands and here the father was struggling to make her wear the dress. Time for her hair. Combing them and then dividing them into three parts he started to overlap them one after the other and yes he did that. It was a cute one how her hair was sneaking out from the holds and then some curls on her forehead making her look uber cute. She looked upward on her forehead and blew hair from her mouth such that it moves away.

Neelanshi: Am I looking beautiful or beautiful

Neil smiled and said " Beautiful but Beautiful " and then both laughed. Moving downwards they both had their breakfast, unlike all others who were still mourning 'her' death. Neil went to the office and then returned fast this night and will always do as now he is no more Husband Neil Khanna rather the only parent and Father of Avni Neelanshi Neil Khanna. Just like Avni took a  promise from him before leaving he completed the promise. Just she asked to return home as soon as possible cause now Neelanshi was there.  

Her each word was ringing in his ears.
Avni: Promise me no matter what it is tomorrow you will be living your present to the fullest no matter how long it takes you will return home fast no matter how much you need you will be completing everything alone with a beam no matter your eyes moist you will wipe them off to let them shine no matter how far the destination is you will reach that no matter how much your sleep disturbs you will let your eyes closed no matter how hollow you feel you will fill your arms by embracing Neelanshi. No matter how gloomy the moon be you will be the shining star behind the clouds no matter how much far I am going you will be walking in the silent lane of this journey. No matter how much your evening swap you will have a tea In a single cup just a sip no matter how hard it's to breathe for you you will let your heartbeat for me. Even though I am drowning deep I an Ocean where you can't come you will be watching being a seashore. Until you smile I will be at your lips, shine in your eyes flutter in your heart racing in your vein walking beside you holding air as my hand you will be having me forever I will be there forever.

So he did that he is trying to live his fullest, trying to return home as fast as possible. No matter how badly he needs her he is completing his tasks alone with courage. No matter how many times his eyes moisten from morning till evening where the sun melts and indicates darkness to elope us and then waiting for another sunshine to wish his queen. 
No matter how much he feels hollow he always embraces their Neelanshi to feel 'her' presence. As she asked he had his morning tea alone without her just sipping and feeling her sweetness mixed in that sugar feeling her freshness in that Elaichi wali chai! Yes, it's hard or says impossible for him to breathe but he is doing cause she has asked. And now he is waiting for the day when Neelanshi will completely become Avni Neelanshi Neil Khanna. He will wait for that night when he can sleep peacefully just like his wife and let the darkness surround him and lead him to the path where he can finally meet his Avni when his breathing will stop and he will be set out from this body. 

When she said he will be the seashore and she will be the ocean and he being unable can only witness her. He so wanted to be the seashore only he can limit and bound her within his boundaries. Where being the seashore only he has the right to witness her depth ness and only he can be touched with her waves and only he will be thirsty being so close to her. Isn't that beautiful and intoxicating!

Coming out from his deep thoughts he entered his room after finishing his dinner and he saw Neelanshi hugging her knees and her sobs were audible. Neil sighed and then loosened his tie. He put his hand on her head and that's when she looked up. 

Again! Same red nose watery doe-shaped eyes she won't leave any chance to make me remind someone. Sighing deeply I took her in my arms and put her on my lap and cleared my throat we father-daughter aren't that close but our gestures speak more. Like me clearing my throat was the indication that now my Wildy has to speak her heart out and I am there forever to listen. She understood and between her hiccups spoke and I couldn't help but let my heartache my poor baby is suffering cause of the loss how will I? 

Neelanshi:  Lori sunaona Neilu I can't sleep Mumm ne Aaj Nahi sunai!

My heart flipped listening Neilu from her my Avni is back even in a slight flash she is here. I patted her head and was opening her looks giving her a ticklish sensation cause my daughter sleeps when her head feels ticklish. And for her and my Wildy, I will sing the lullaby

Neil:

Neelanshi hugged him and just said three words- " We Are Together " and he smiles with glassy orbs " Forever " both shifted their gaze to the night sky and there was She twinkling and smiling showing a thumps Up that they did it. They are together forever. She twinkled in that star sending the message that he has Neelanshi completing the hollowness that Avni left and Neelanshi has Neil who will always embrace her not just as a father but as a mother too.

" Good Night Queen," they said in Union and dozed off Neil having Neelanshi in his arms and Neelanshi having her father as her only pillow.

Days went, months went and then years everything Changed except the bond they shared. Now everyone smiles. But someone was back

Shweta: Dr. Avni apka breakfast ready hai jaldi khatam kariye aur phir..

Avni: Comming! Neilu am going. Take care of yourself

Neil was sipping the tea still keeping his promise and said ' bye ' 

It was that evening everyone was gathered in a big auditorium as Avni was awarded for her service being a doctor she provided. Receiving the award and then she went to stage. She looked at her family and then the person her Neilu. With hand gestures, she kept her index finger on her heart and then towards him and he smiled showing a thumbs up.

Avni: Dear citizens being a doctor isn't easy and it's tough and dangerous but I am glad that I have the opportunity to serve you all. Your health matters the most and here I am having the award for serving you all but this award is dedicated to someone very special in my life. He is here and I won't exaggerate he is none other than a famous businessman Mr. Neil Khanna my Dadda. I Avni Neelanshi Neil Khanna is serving you all cause he made me like this. When my mom left us here to be for each other and support each other. 

He did, he left his comfort from patting my head in the night singing lullaby to waking me up by carrying me even when I grew up. From brushing my teeth to polishing my whole personality. From tieing my plates and pony to teach me how to hold and bind each and every member of the family. From waking up the whole night taking care of myself when I was ill to making me learn how to handle someone when he/she is ill. From making me stand for myself in the school to make me stand as a doctor in the university. From making me dream so large to let me live them each day. FRom being gentle when I needed the care to be hard when I neglected my health teaching me how a doctor should treat the patient. When I failed my M.Sc and was sulking over it, He said as I failed it is the path where only I will succeed.

I am Proud Dadda when society was forcing you to marry again you stood to be a single parent showing only Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna is and was the only one. You could have moved on but you didn't show how much Mumma matters to you and as You say " She is Still There " and if she is here in this auditorium I would say " You are lucky Mum He is the best for you " This Award is for you Mumma Dadda this is for you and your Love ' AvNeil'

As soon as she completed the whole auditorium was clapping some were crying some were smiling but that one person was looking downward and then Neelanshi went to him cupped his face and hugged him " Comeon Neilu You are looking down as if I disclosed your personal secret now smile and come Let's go " Clasping their hands she dragged him outside the auditorium and took him to the beach as it was sunset and soon the night was coming from another direction.

Pink orange and dark clouds surrounded. The sun was going to sleep and Neelanshi looked at him and gestured him to look at the sky where it was half Evening and half night. She said

" Dadda this is our life half evening Half night having some troubles and darkness but the sunset is worth to watch and the wait for a new sunrise is all we both have. Musafir Laut aayi hai Dadda " 

Neil smiled with teary eyes and patted her head " No doubt Tujhmein mere nanhe panchi Woh Musafir Laut Aayi Hai  "

Both again held each other's hands and walked on the seashore. Neil noticed how the waves were dying to reach and touch the seashore just like ' her ' then he looked upward and that star twinkled and it started raining indicating she was crying in heaven.

Both father-daughter returned and said a good night to their Queen in this gloomy night that was crying in happiness.

Finally, they are together as a family " Forever "

Avni returned and Neil was complete Avneil were together in a parallel world.
