Hiccup- (takes place before first movie) you met him when you were ten his father and your mother had made you go to the great hall to stay out of trouble along with the rest of the kids you weren't even aloud to put out fires until you were twelve. "Stay safe". Your mother said before kissing your head and running out.

"Why do we have to wait in here instead of helping our parents"? You demanded sitting at one of the tables.

"Its just to keep us safe". Hiccup said sitting across the room from all of you.

"We're Vikings we don't need to be kept safe". Fishlegs protested.

"I'm going out there whose with me"! You said standing up.

"I am". Snotlout said trying to sound brave.

Everyone agreed but Hiccup. "Come on buddy it's gonna take all of us". You said offering him your hand.

"I'm scared". Hiccup mumbled.

"Snotlout is scared but he's going". You said nodding to him.

"Hey"! Snotlout protested.

"I'll let you use my dagger". You offered.

"Fine, just so none of you get eaten". He said standing up excepting your dagger.

You hesitantly opened the door and saw the chaos. "Check the houses make sure no little kids are in them". You ordered. "Tough guy you're with me let's go see if Gobber needs help". You yelled to Hiccup as the rest of the gang obeyed your other orders.

"My name is Hiccup". He said trying to keep up with you.

"Mines (y/n)". You said dodging Deadly Nadder spikes gracefully. "You coming Hiccup"? You asked when you saw him not moving.

"Oh yeah right". Hiccup ran over to you and you grabbed his wrist heading for Gobber's shop.

"Incoming Gobber"! You said before diving through Gobber's window dragging Hiccup with you. You ended up landing on him.

"Did you just bring me to use as a human shield"? Hiccup asked groaning.

"No no no"! Gobber called from behind a wall. "You two are not here go back to the hall".

"But that's boring we'd rather help you I already sent the others to do a house check please Gobber". You begged.

"Fine, (y/n), hammer out those swords, eh you Hiccup, little one pump the fire don't let it go out".

"On it". You and Hiccup worked until day break.

"You two better get back to the hall before your parents get worried". You nodded and ran back to the hall where you were in for some big trouble, well not you so much, a dragon got your mom and dad that night. The chief took it upon himself to take you in, but hey Hiccup and you have been best friends ever since.

Tuffnut- you and your older brother Cliff were sadly orphaned when you were little so you lived with Gothi you learned from her and were pretty smart but very shy do to lack of socialization besides Gothi and your brother.

One day you were mixing some medicine for silent Sven's sheep and a blonde girl who looked a little older than you came running up the hill. "Is Gothi here"? She asked seeming concerned.

"No what's wrong"? You asked panickedly.

She turned around and dropped a boy who sorta looked like her off of her back. "He isn't breathing". You remembered something Gothi had taught you in case of an emergency.

You walked over to the boy and punched him straight in the gut, he gasped for air and opened his eye. "Are you alright"? He sat up wearily and the girl slapped him.

"Idiot! If you can't swim why did you jump in the river"? She asked him.

"Because Snotlout said Gothi's helper was pretty". He groaned. "I agree".

"That guy who got burned by his own dragon"? He nodded and you groaned. "I really don't like him". You said rolling your eyes.

"Welcome to the club, you should hang out with us sometime it sure would beat hanging out here all day watching over Berk and getting a beautiful view of the ocean and watching dragons come and go". She trailed off and sat on the edge of the cliff.

"You forgot being able to watch you two prank people from anywhere". You said sitting next to her. "I'm (y/n)". You introduced.

"Ruffnut, my brother over there is Tuffnut. Tuff come see this view". She sighed.

You heard him get up and start to walk over to you both. "Woah no wonder the only reason people see you if they come up here". He said sitting on the opposite side of you than Ruffnut.

"Not a lot of people get it even after seeing the view they just think I'm weird". You said leaning back on your hands.

"It's even cooler to see by dragon". Tuffnut said not taking his eyes off the view.

"Is that an offer"? You asked looking at him out of the corner of your eye.

"For what"? He asked confused.

"To show me the village by dragon back". You answered.

"Sure it would be fun. What wouldn't be fun about two people sitting together alone on a dragon"?

"Now you made it weird". You sighed. "And don't you have a two headed dragon"? You asked all of you standing up.

"Yeah I'd leave Ruff at home". He said pointing to her.

"Sounds like a plan". You said putting you hands on your hips.

"A plan it is".

Snotlout- you and your slightly older sister Astrid were getting ready for your first dragon riding class. You had a Deadly Nadder like your sister but you really didn't feel like it was the right dragon for you so you planned to talk to Hiccup.

"Hey Hic, can we talk"? Hiccup looked up from his journal and shut it.

"Sure what's up"? He asked casually.

"I'm having some trouble connecting with my dragon". You said scratching your neck.

"How so"? He asked.

"He's tried to eat me twice today". You said casually.

"Oh um....... I have an idea! I'll have Snotlout take you to find a new dragon because I will be busy and you'll need it quickly, and if it tries to eat you again he'll be best to help you". You nodded but really didn't know who he was.

"Which one is Snotlout"? You asked tilting your head.

"You'll see He should be in the arena tell him what I said and he should help you, probably". 'Great', was your first thought after he said that.

You went to the arena and took a wild guess that the guy yelling 'Snotlout Snotlout oi oi oi', was Snotlout. "Hi Snotlout, Hiccup said you could help me find a knew dragon". He turned around ready to mouth off then saw you were a girl.

"Uh yeah sure". He gulped hard like swallowing his words. "Hop on I'll take us to the forest". He said nervously.

"Thank you". You hopped on his Monstrous Nightmare and he took you to a dragon filled part of the forest.

"Take your pick". He said motioning to a whole group of wild dragons, there were Nadders, Gronkles, Zipplebacks, and finally a Monstrous Nightmare! You were so excited.

You carefully made your way over to each dragon studying it to see if it was a good fit for you, you just finished studying a Gronkle and drawing it, then the Monstrous Nightmare approached you. "Woah big guy". You said putting your hands up, the dragon looked annoyed that you called it guy. "Big girl"? The dragon relaxed and sat across from you.

"Careful (y/n)". Snotlout warned.

"You're not so scary". You put your hand out gently and she let you rest it on her head.

"No way". You heard Snotlout say in disbelief.

You stood up and scratched her under her chin. "Are you gonna let me ride you"? You asked making your way over to her back. She made a noise that sounded like a purr and you hopped on.

"I don't believe it". Snotlout said when you walked over to him.

"Believe it".

Fishlegs- you had been sitting in a cage on a dragon hunter's ship for weeks looking for a way out, they took all your dragons except for your Singing Terrors because they drove them nuts, you had multiple dragons because they basically raised you, they were your family. "Pretty birdie want a friend"? A hunter asked you one day holding a guy and a Gronkle on a leash. "Doesn't matter you don't have a choice"! He laughed.

He threw the guy in and pushed in the Gronkle before slamming the door. You went over to the Gronkle and ignored the guy. You made sure she wasn't hurt then just sat next to her trying to hide from the guy. "Are you ok"? The guy asked trying to get a good look at you.

"I'm fine". You said shortly holding one of the Singing Terrors in your lap.

"I'm Fishlegs". He said sitting on the opposite side of the Gronkle.

"(Y/n)". You said stroking the Terrors's back.

"My dragon is Meatlug". After he said that you scoffed.

"Dragons aren't owned they're companions, I should know". You said never looking up. "They'll probably use Meatlug to make Gronkle iron, we need to get out". Meatlug moved so you could see Fishlegs.

"You had a dragon"? He asked trying to start a conversation.

"Dragons raised me all of them Nightmares, Terrors, Zipplebacks, Nadders, Gonkles, all of them, now they're gone". You said bringing your knees to your chest.

"I'm sure they're-". You cut him off.

"They told me they're all gone except for a few". You said looking over at him, he didn't seem dangerous or really tough either. "Follow my lead". Without explaining you stood up but acted like you were weak and fell hoping he'd catch on.

"Someone help I don't think this girl is breathing"! He yelled.

You heard one of the hunters make their way over and unlock the cage. He poked you in the side and you jumped up then wrestled him to the ground eventually knocking him unconscious. "Let's go". You said standing up and making sure all of the Terrors were coming before grabbing the guard's keys.

You unlocked all of the dragons cages and got the dragons out before running to the upper deck with Fishlegs. "Go scatter"! He yelled to the dragons. "Come on". He grabbed your wrist and pulled you onto Meatlug.

You flew away and you held on slightly to Fishlegs in fear of falling off the small dragon. "Thank you". You said as your Terrors flew over to you.

"Your welcome, you should come to Berk or Dragon's Edge we support dragons it would be nice". You shrugged and leaned on him.

"We'll see". You said grabbing a tired Terror out of the sky near by.

"I really hope you consider it".

"Don't get your hopes up". You said putting the small dragon on his head.

"I won't".

Dagur- you were Hiccup's older sister you'd met him when you were little via your fathers, he was rather mental but that sort of intrigued you.
