Tip #1 - take lots of selfies with your teammates

This is probably one of the most important tips anyone will ever give you. You have to let the fans know or think you and everyone on the team are friends. Even if you aren't friends with some of your teammates one selfie won't hurt.

If you're sitting together on the plane to or from a match - take a selfie.

If you guys are hanging out - take a selfie.

If you're getting a ride home - take a quick selfie.

If you're in the locker room half naked - take a half naked selfie together.

Having lunch together? Lovely - take a selfie.

Make sure you smile and look extra happy. There's no sense in taking the selfie if you're going to look as if you're carrying the whole world on your shoulder. That just starts rumors and questions.

Popular 'madrid' poses:

- the 'very common and sometimes awkward' thumps up

- the 'overused' peace sign

- the pointing at your teammate as if we can't see them

- the 'I don't know what else to do with my hands' fist

Or just do some random things with your fingers - hold up 4 fingers, 5 maybe?
