chapter two - pretty princess

One of Estrid's hand ladies informs her of the incident of Thor and his followers. She knows how bad this will end and instantly runs out of the room. When she runs down the hall, she spots Thor and Loki walking to meet their father. Loki turns his head and looks sadly at her. Oh god what did they do? She sees their friends and runs up to them.

"What the hell happened?" she asks Sif.

"We went to battle." She replies sharply. Avoiding the answer.

"They why to god do they look like they're heading to execution?" Estrid spits while she pulls her to answer. Sif looks at her briefly.

"We did it against Odin's order." Sif says, ashamed.

"Oh, god." Estrid looks to the brothers as they walk through the doors. "How could you all do something so stupid?!"

"Estrid-" Volstagg starts.

"Not all of us find joy in simply sitting and looking pretty, princess." Sif spits. Everyone turns in complete shock, but before they can process all of it, a blade lands in the wall by Sif's head. The blade is just touching her scalp but never pierced her. Sif is holding her breath as the rest of them look in the direction the blade came from, landing on Estrid, whose face has become twisted and sour. It was a known rule that Estrid was never allowed to be a warrior of Asgard. Her father Rune was strict and refused to believe she was to ever be in the face of such danger; therefore he had the entire kingdom keep eye on her to stop her from going anywhere near war or training rooms.

"I'm sorry some of us don't enjoy ruining people's lives." Estrid scolds before leaving the room.
