I kept strumming the guitar, trying and failing to make music out of it. My sister covered her ears. "Can you stop it?? Please!?"

I didn't listen. "Maddie, I'm not going to stop unless this guitar turns into a monster. Besides, I like playing it."

Maddie sighed, taking her hands off her ears to find headphones. That's when the guitar stopped making music. What was wrong with it? I checked the guitar for loose strings but there were no strings. The guitar started to shudder and shake. Then, it started to grow eyes and claws.

I dropped the guitar and backed away towards Maddie. The guitar had been turned into a monster.
