Yaoshi - Hand in Hand (Slight NSFW)

All of Yaoshi's hands began to curve around your body, lifting your chin, weaving over your shoulders and down your back.

"I will help you."

"I do not need your help, Yaoshi." You respond coldly, wiping their decrepit claws from your robes.

"Why must you push me away?" Lowering their head, Yaoshi extends vines around your body, snaking up over your form. Leaning upon your shoulder, you gave in, returning to the Aeon's embrace under their magnanimous tree.

"As long as you are in my arms, I will never allow harm to come of you." Yaoshi smiles as their long smooth hair covers your eyes. Affectionately holding you to their immortal body, the Aeon drags you into their arms. "You, my precious Y/N...must remain by my side as we heal this empire of broken cosmos."

Such was a promise made near eons ago.

Meeting Yaoshi was not of your own volition, nothing more than a human living peacefully upon your planet until it was visited by the Aeon. Originally considered a divine blessing, the moment that the golden rays of the plagues author entered the home of their eternal worship- began the insanity of your people.

"This is a miracle!" Your mother called, wide eyes to the sky as she fell to her knees.

Upon looking up at the immortal figure, their presence was covered with a blinding presence that refused to allow you to see their true form. The feeling of your mother dragging you down to the ground to pay your dues to the being they called 'God', sent a shiver down your spine.

You feared that the reason for such a visit may not be as generous as your people believed.

"Y/N, we have chosen you to be of the few sent to meet with the divine." The priest informed you, asking you to get dressed for the immortal with ceremonial attire.

"What an honor!" Your mother exclaimed.

"Mother-"

"The divine has asked this of us, for their blessings of eternal fortitude, how could we resist? All the food we could want, and an infinite harvest!" The priest raises their arms in worship.

"Of course..."

Dragged off with two others, you are all asked to remove all your clothing. A bit uncomfortable with the idea of your exposed body before anyone's dark gaze, you opted to put on the ceremonial garbs yourself. Before you left for some privacy you noticed the other two offerings' expressions. The boy was dismayed, but the girl was overjoyed.

Turning your back to the rest, you began putting on the official garments. Sheer, long flowing cloth that was lightly wrapped around your body. It didn't manage to cover much, leaving you a bit embarrassed. Over your arms and ankles, accents of gold were painted onto your skin. Feeling the assistants take the cold pastels to your body was shocking, as you could feel every brush stroke upon your delicate skin.

The final piece was a translucent veil, which was only placed over your face.

The other two wore complete masks, which was when you discovered that you were the sacrifice, and they were the accompaniments. This ritual had been done many times before, but such practices were not made clear to the public.

From what you could recall, the two accompaniments were meant to be absorbed by the Aeon, dragged into their infinite soul and dispersed among their cells. As the sacrifice could be used by the Aeon in whatever fashion appeased them.

You wondered if these truths would be condemned by the people, but you knew that your mother would encourage it to appease the gods.

"Please, follow us." The attendants smiled; toothy grins that looked horribly forced on their face.

You could no longer see what the girl and boy were thinking, as their faces were covered with creepy white masks. Their outfits were annoyingly much more conservative than yours was.

What your people could possibly hope to come out of such a revealing choice of clothing was beyond you.

Brought before giant sealed off doors, you watched in fear as the attendants walked over to the accompaniments. Placing red markings on the girl's mask which looked to be of blood, and golden splatters over the boy. The red, you assumed meant that the girl would be absorbed through the cosmic soul, killed and then assimilated. The gold you could only wonder about.

Once the attendants had left, the boy became scared. "Switch with me!" He begged, turning to the girl who only shook her head.

"This is my role. I will accept it graciously." The sense of pride in her tone was concerning, as if she had not a single apprehension within her mind.

The attendants had returned with large chains, which when placed along the scuff marks on the doors, finally began to click together.

It only made the opening of such large golden doors into the abyssal darkness just that much more horrifying. With your bare feet you stepped through the arches, guiding the others behind you.

Despite what you would consider a decent amount of visibility, the further you walked, the less you could see. Beneath you the smooth floor would become sticky in some parts, you ignored the sinking feeling in your gut- confirming what the substance may have been.

Completely in the dark, the boy's steps could be heard running back, pounding on the door. "Please! Let me out!!" He cried, the sound of insanity wavering in his throat as his cries became hoarser.

"Hey, it's time to do your part. This is for our god." The girl spoke sweetly, lighting a torch on the ground as she held it above him. "I'd hate to have to burn you into submission." Her tone shifted, still sweet, but sickeningly so.

"I can't- I still haven't told Aggria that I love him!" He sobs. You watch his wracked form slump to the ground, under the harsh light of the girl's torch, his tears meshed with the golden splatters.

"Then I'll fulfil your role for you." Her smile drops. Smashing his head violently against the door until he stopped struggling, you covered your mouth in shock. Removing her mask and placing it on his face she sighed. "And your destiny was to be so bright..."

"Let's go, oh sacred sacrifice." The girl walks towards you, interlocking her arm with yours as she threateningly holds the torch before you.

As you stare back into the fading sight of the boy's body- you jump when you notice bloodstains dragged off into some dark corner. With the boy nowhere in sight.

"Here." She says, lighting the torch on the ground and illuminating the room.

Still too dark to see much of anything but the occasional splatters of dark red spots upon the ground. The soft glow of ethereal light emitting behind thin curtains. A large set of hands emerged, more than one set, as the massive being protruded from behind the warded off space.

The girl smiles in amazement, dropping to her knees furiously, banging her head to the floor in awe. She reminded you of your mother to a wretched likeness. Joining her on the ground before the Aeon's presence a rough pain began to rapture your body. Sending a wave of heat to your face as you became dizzy.

This smell could only be described as a plant upon your homeland, that is meant to sedate even the largest of animals. The pungent odor smelled of corpses and rot.

The once large hand shrunk down as the Aeon approached both of you, placing their soft hands over your face. You began to cough, finally breathing normally again by their grace.

When you gazed up at the mysterious figure, you were stunned to see the most captivating beauty known to the infinite cosmos. Frost pale skin and soft beige cloth that worked in tangent to portray the Aeon like an angel.

"Rise." The aeon commanded of you, bringing you towards them. They had shrunk considerably, now just a bit shorter than you.

Floating off the ground they circled you, long strawberry blonde hair dragging behind them as they examined you. Shrinking into yourself you did not like the Aeon's prying eyes delving towards places they should not look.

"You are them. Aren't you?" They exclaimed with a distraught expression.

The girl looked up at you in confusion, barely picking her bloodied forehead off the ground.

"Y/N! I missed you so-" The Aeon brought their lips onto yours, turning their head to better force their affection on you. "Y/N!" They continued, with a wave of tears and a bitter smile.

"How do you know my name?" You cautiously asked, backing away from the delusional god.

As they began to float over to you, a frown on their teary face. "It was only you who could make me cry like this. Y/N." Placing their hands on your chest and gliding them up behind your neck.

Seeing your worried face, the Aeon became displeased.

Continuing to follow you as you kept taking steps away from them. "Why...must you always push me away?" Covering their face with their long slender clawed hands, the god resumed their large frame. Nearly breaking out of the top of the worship hall in their grief.

"Appease them, quickly!" The girl cried, as her body is squished under the Aeon's frame. Her eyes grow wide as she is overtaken by vines, now assimilated into them. A small fragment of what looked to be her mask was stuck in the vines.

The same vines now extended towards you in an alarmingly fast pace. You desperately tried to call out to the aeon, but realized you could not remember who they were.

"Beloved!" You cried, forcing the Aeon to stop their rampage and shrink down. With a wide smile the figure flew to you, bringing you tightly to their chest. "Oh, my Y/N~! It truly is you."

"Yes.." You gently brought a shaking hand to the aeon's back. Patting it slowly until the Aeon brought you away from them with a smile. "That must have been frightening, I do apologize."

"Can you- bring them back?"

Looking back to the vine for a moment, the god smiled at your request. "Anything for you, my beloved." Waving another of their many arms, still keeping the other appendages wrapped protectively around your back, they released the girl.

"Does it please you?"

"Uh, sure." You nodded quickly. Staring just over the Aeon's shoulder as the girl coughed out thorns from her lungs and grasped at her airways. Staring at you with wide eyes as if she had just been brought back to life and dragged out from hell.

"Y/N. Call me by my name." The Aeon asked of you, dragging their hands over your face lovingly.

"Of course, plagues author."

"No beloved, the name that you gave me. That only you could ever give me." They demanded, bringing you behind the curtains. Within it was a bed far too large for any human to ever sleep upon, stretching as far out in every direction you could see.

The Aeon laid you down on the cushion, placing your hand on their cheek as they nuzzled their face into your palm. "Y/N?"

"I-" Unable to do as the Aeon wished you began to wonder if it were better to just ask.

"Great sanctus medicus, Yaoshi, please-!"

"Quiet." Yaoshi demanded, spinning their finger as the girl was once again ensnared in vines, leaving only her eyes to witness as the Aeon affectionately began to admire you.

Jumping up to see if she was alright, Yaoshi forced you back down gently. Staring over you as their long hair draped over either side of your face. Letting their hands wander around your body as their eyes happily glanced at your revealed skin, separated by the thin cloth that swung over you.

"Yao...shi?" You whispered, unsure as your eyes met the narrow gaze of the Aeon.

Upon hearing their name from your mouth, Yaoshi dove for your lips. A smiling mess as they began removing both your clothes with haste. Kissing your face everywhere they could see, as their hands roamed over you. All of the multiple hands bringing your legs up over both sides of their waist and sliding hands under your back.

"Wait!" You cried out, holding your hands up defensively.

"Is something wrong?" Yaoshi asked, turning their head in concern.

"I..." Your face burning with embarrassment, how could you explain to the frightening god that you in fact were not the person they were searching for? A gut instinct told you to hold your tongue and let them proceed.

"Nothing."

"Would you like to touch me instead?" The Aeon expressed with such glee, bringing your hand to their bare stomach. Hearing the golden bangles upon their arms shake as they began to return to the Aeon's side.

It was only then that their skin began to separate along their arms, opening a vast void that held a single red seed within its clutch. Taking one of those pills, Yaoshi placed it into their mouth and leaned towards your face.

As you refused to open your mouth to them, they placed their hand under your garments and began to fondle your skin. Gasping, Yaoshi slipped the orb into your mouth, feeling it crawl down your throat, you pushed them off you.

"Y/N!?" Yaoshi screamed in fear, watching as you clung to your throat trying to cough up the redseed.

"What...did you do to me!?" backing away from the Aeon, they looked terrifyingly displeased.

"I offered you, my eternity, my everything. A piece of my soul that will ascend you into a being unable to be killed." Yaoshi explained, running their hands over the sides of your waist.

Feeling you squirm uncomfortably under their touch they frowned. "I will heal your fractured mind, beloved. As your skin, your body, your very being is now me."

Laying their head on your chest as they entangled themselves over you, clutching you to their body as you soaked in what they had just said. Within the crevice of your mind, a figure in similar form to yourself brought a finger over their mouth. Shaking their head slowly as they disappeared.
