You practically yell, looking to Peter and telling him to wake up.

"You don't understand, Gwen's dead." He said, gulping back his sobs.

He ruffled his hair, still staring at his phone in shock.

"I know, you always tell us." You sigh, realising that he wasn't going to press accept.

You had to do it for him.

You reach onto his crusty iPhone 4 and press the green accept button underneath a picture of Gwen Stacy.

She did look a lot like the one from your universe but that wasn't important now.

"Y/n what was that for-" Peter started yelling at you, looking frustrated and upset.

Except he paused, going completely silent when he heard a girls voice on the other side of his mobile.

"Peter? Peter are you there? Peter Parker? Peter?"

Peter 3 froze, not saying a word.

It was so quiet that you could even hear the noise of people yelling in traffic beneath you.

"Say something," You mouth, glaring at your friend and telling him to not be dumb.

"Gwen." Was all he could muster but at least it was something.

"Peter." She says, mocking his frightened tone.

You liked the Gwen from this universe already.

"Okay but seriously," She says, her voice snapping back to a solemn tone, "What's this thing on the internet now? Are you with another girl? Who is this Spider-Woman? She sounds like a skank. Are you with her now?"

"Over you? Never." Peter says, smiling like an idiot into his phone and delivering such a cringy line, "I've got a lot to explain to you."

"Explain it now then," Gwen says, sounding a little frustrated but you couldn't help but hear a smile at the end of her voice.

She was just a loving and protective girlfriend. Because of this, you were willing to overlook the fact that she called you a skank.

"I can't." Peter says, his grin not fading, "Where are you now?"

"Home, why?" Gwen asks, sounding confused.

"Give me two minutes. Probably less actually." Peter says, shutting off his phone.

Peter stood up and walked to the edge of the building, throwing his arms up in the air and yelling 'Wooo' in delight.

It must be a great feeling knowing that the one person that made your life a million times better had returned from the dead.

But I mean, that was one of the weird things that happen when you mess with the multiverse.

You roll your eyes at his childishness when in reality it was actually quite sweet to see young love again.

"It's kind of obvious where we're going isn't it." Peter says to you, stepping onto the ledge.

You nod as he drops over the side of the building.

You swing down after him, following the spider through the heart of the city and to Gwen Stacey's apartment.
