My alarm was about to ring but since I was already awake I just looked at it

Y/n: today's the day

In the clubhouse, everyone was silent and preparing for the rating game to start when sona and her second in command Tsubaki walked in

Rias: there's a live broadcast of the competition so family members can watch. Sona and Tsubaki are here to help with that

Just then a devil seal appeared on the floor as the maid form before named grayfia came out from it

Grayfia: in a few moments will use this magic circle to transport you and the rest of your team to the battlefield.

Akeno: in a neutral alternate space, created just for the game. Because it's not real we have full license to do some real damage even Burn It To The Ground if we want

Y/n:( she sounds way too into that idea )

Sona: I'll be in the student council broadcasting room. Calling the game. I will be cheering you on, good luck.

Rias: thanks, just try to keep the play by play fair

Sona: oh, I'll keep it clean. Though if I were a betting girl I'd say you were going to beat that scumbag seven ways from Sunday

She and Tsubaki left after that

One by one we all got transported to the battlefield which kinda looked like the place we were just in

Grayfia*welcome everyone my name is grayfia, I am a servant to the house of gremory. I will be your referee in this match. Too great a battlefield you'll be competing in, I took suggestions from both lady Rias and Lord riser. You may recognize this place, as it is a replica of kuo Academy, an educational institution in the human world.

Grayfia:* each team has been given an area that will serve as its home base lady Reyes your crew will be in the occult research Club headquarters in the old schoolhouse. Lord risers home base will be located in the principal's office in the new Schoolhouse. Pawns will be promoted if they make their way to the home base of the opposing team. Good luck to all.

Y/n: alrigth! Let's go I've been itching to knock that guy's head off

Akeno: I love the enthusiasm but maybe you should dial it back a bit

Y/n: why?

Kiba: be smart dude odds are he wants to move his pawns into our territory right away. We need enough players to make sure that doesn't happen

Y/n: meh, not as badass but I can go for a warm-up

Then koneko started passing out magical ear devices that help communicate, as grayfia rang the bell for the fighting to start. Rias then gathered everyone to look over the map and go over the plan

Rias: the enemy's base is just across the way heading to the school grounds might be quick but it's not an option.

Koneko: they'll see it coming a mile away

Y/n: and well be sitting ducks

Rias: correct

Kiba: if we go through the track field and sneak into the back then we might have the element of surprise on our side

Rias: that's the most obvious entry point available and riser knows it. My guess is he'll station a group of knights and Rooks with strong Mobility right behind the Athletic Club House

Akeno: that doesn't leave us with very many options then, does it?

Kiba: first things first I think we should secure the gymnasium before we do anything else. It's a Chase sent to their home base and not too far from us but most importantly to serve as a diversion to the other side

Y/n: and it's in the middle of the battlefield so whoever gets to it first has the upper hand right

Rias: yes, given the options we have that's our best chance. Koneko do you think you can handle locking the gymnasium down

She nodded as asia grabbed onto y/n arm

Y/n: you good

Asia: all this talk of fighting is starting to scare me

Y/n: relax, I won't let anything happen to you, promise

Asia: okay

Rias: for the time being we need to set a defensive parameter, Kiba and koneko go out and set up some traps asap

Kiba: got it, well wish us luck you guys

Rias: akeno Alex will need your expertise whenever they're done setting the traps, your illusion magic is going to come in handy, so be prepared.

She left as well leaving only rias, y/n, and asia alone in the room

Rias: yes, when you first Unleash Your power you went out of control and it almost killed you. So I cast a spell to keep your power at Bay because of the spell your abilities come to you in small manageable stages. What I trust release was another portion of your power and keep your emotions in check y/n I don't want you to rage out there as you have in the past my spell might help limit you but it can't contain you if you understand

Y/n: I get ya

Then y/n started clenching his right hand

Y/n:( she wasn't joking I feel stronger already )

Rias: this is just a portion of what you can do. But for your body to be able to handle your boosted gear on top of the full extent of your power we had to get you in better shape and make sure you are strong enough. There's a good portion in there that you're just not ready for yet

Y/n: I see okay, so as I get stronger physically and mentally my power rises with me kinda like an anime right

Rias: yep exactly, so don't go easy out there just because those pawns are girls. Given the opportunity, they'll do the same thing to you

I was outside with koneko after hearing the plan is laid out for us

Y/n: oh yeah

We ran to the gym and hid behind the curtains but that didn't even matter as the light got turned on

???: smells like gremory filth

Y/n: stealth isn't much of my thing anyway

We walked out on stage as there were four girls ready to fight

???: looks like she sent a pawn and a rook I guess Lil y/n needs some help

Y/n: you chicks are gonna wish I didn't come

Shuran: Mira, ile nel handle get ready to destroy them

Koneko: the rook chick she's gonna be a problem, based on her strength she got the skills of a queen

Y/n: doesn't matter we came to kick butt and bitt shall be kicked this day

(activated boosted gear)

Koneko: you're so weird, but your right. I'll take the rook you handle the others

Y/n: you got it

I jumped over to the group and charged my boosted gear

I struck the ground, breaking it apart as they all split up koneko took on the room and I got everyone else

Mira: take this!

She tried to strike me with the staff but I grabbed it with my left arm and smirked

Y/n: second verse same as the first

I pulled her forward and punched her in the stomach with my boosted gear as it kept charging energy

Y/n: alrigth you twin psychopaths who want's daddy belt

They smirked before unwrapping their weapons which were chain saws

Y/n: oh...shiiiii

They rushed me as I jumped back into the air but soon they followed trying ti cut me in half but thanks to my indestructible right arm I blocked them then I grabbed them by the collar and threw them to the ground

Mira: I got you!

I wasnt paying attention to Mira as she struck me in the side with her staff and I landed on the wall making a small crater

Y/n: ow~ okay that hurt

Mira: let's finish him now!

Ile & nel: and cut him down!

Y/n: oh yeah, well I hope you packed your frequent flyer miles because I'm sitting you want a first-class trip to the ER!

Y/n stepped his fingers as red magical circles appeared on the twin's shoulder and more stomach to their surprise

Y/n: BOOSTED GEAR!

suddenly the area which had been marked by y/n red seal exploded in the girl's face causing them to fall to their knees in pain

He looked over as koneko was walking over to him

Y/n: you did too

Koneko: yeah piece of cake, let's go akeno in position

He nodded as the two got out of the gymnasium before akeno used her lighting magic to blow it sky high along with riser pieces

Grayfia* three of Lord risers pawns and one of Lord risers rooks retired.*

Y/n: damn she brings the hurt

Koneko: she's the real deal. That's why her nickname is the Priestess of thunder. She knows how to bring the Boom. And she likes it.

Y/n: yeah no kidding

Rias* the phoenixes still have us outnumbered we'll have to buy time for akeno to replenish her energy. Once she's good we'll move on to our second plan*

Koneko: we need to get to the Athletic Club Kiba is waiting on us over there, we see any bad guys we own them

Y/n: got it, it's hard to worry about the dude knowing him he's probably fighting everybody without even messing up his hair

Y/n: alrigth let's get going

Y/n started walking ahead and as he did koneko saw the magical circle below his feet

Koneko: WATCH OUT!

koneko pushed y/n out of the blast range but took the full force of it head-on

y/n: Koneko!

He ran up to her

Y/n: hey koneko talk to me!

Koneko: I...i just....wanted to help rias

Y/n: you did fine and you saved my bacon, rest up

He threw his jacket over her as she and the jacket disappeared in a blue light

Rias* y/n! Y/n talk to me, what happened to koneko!*

???: thats one down

Y/n stood up amd looked at the purple-haired girl in the air

Y/n: you...

Yubelluna: oh you want a piece of me to little pawn

Y/n started to get blanketed in a red aura as his eye began to glow green

Y/n: you're gonna pay for that

Yubelluna: im shaking in fear

She said giggling as y/n went to fight but akeno flew in between them

Akeno: well this is exciting

Y/n: akeno m-

Akeno: y/n calm down, didn't rias say to watch control your emotions

Y/n: but koneko

Akeno: we'll be fine, she's not dead, trust me. Now go I'll handle this trash

Y/n calms himself as the red aura vanished

Y/n: she's all yours

He said before running off in Kiba's direction

Y/n: (riser im coming for you)
