"I don't care about any explanation...."

The older male hissed, the movement was too fast for the brunette to see so the next thing he saw was the blue haired boy lying on the ground with the stranger standing over him.

"...... It won't happen again...."

The smaller boy whispered as he slowly got off the ground, the brunette had to use all of his self control to not go attack the man who had harmed Aichi.

"You're right it won't!"

The male sighed as he offered his hand to help the boy up, the younger of the two cautiously allowed him to pull him up. A cruel grin swiped it's way over the male's face as he yanked Aichi off the ground roughly, earning him a sharp yelp of pain. That when Kai could no longer hold himself back anymore.

"Let go of him!"

The brunette yelled as he leaped from his cover and confronted the man.

"K-Kai?!"

The blue haired boy yelped, his voice a mixture of fear and surprise.

"You have no say in what I do boy, my son was late for his repayment so I've gotta teach him a lesson of respect!"

The male now identified as Aichi's father growled as he narrowed his lapis eyes at the boy.

The brunette was dumbfounded, sure Aichi resembled the man greatly, however he could never imagine him being related to someone so cruel.

"I thought Aichi's father was dead...."

The brunette whispered half to himself, he had never been told so, he just guessed that the lack of being mentioned was because he had already passed.

"No I'm very much alive as Saito , now I'd appreciate it if you were to leave me and my son alone"

The lapis haired man growled slightly as he spoke, the brunette's gaze drifted towards the injured Aichi before he shook his head.

"No, I won't let you harm him"

Kai deadpanned as he made his way so that he stood in the gap that separated the father and son from each other.

"......... Aichi, send your friend away"

Saito said as he motioned towards the brunette. Sapphire eyes filled with dismay as the younger boy's mouth opened forming a small o shape before he shook his head and closed his eyes.

"Kai please leave....."

The brunette could easily detect the fear within the younger boy's whisper, he turned around to look at the younger boy but his head was downcast so that his face was shadowed by his blue hair.

"Aichi?...."

Kai couldn't understand why the smaller boy would listen to someone just so that they could later most likely have more pain inflicted upon him.

"You heard my son, leave boy"

Aichi's father purred with a satisfied yet eerie grin. The older teen could easily tell that the smaller boy seriously wanted him to leave, however he didn't want to leave him alone with his father.

"Aichi.....?"

The younger boy looked away, not meeting the brunette's eyes when he called his name.

"Just forget all this.... I'm just repaying my dad"

The brunette could tell that Aichi's laugh was fake and forced, even without seeing his face.

"......Fine......"

Kai whispered as he turned his back to leave, he wasn't giving up on helping the boy now that he knew who was inflicting harm upon him. He just sensed that if he caused more trouble for Saito, Aichi would be the one who would pay.

He instead decided that he would get his loud friend to question Emi about her and her brother's father, the blond was more easily talkative than he was in the first place.

The brunette went to his apartment but didn't sleep, thoughts about Saito and Aichi kept worming their way into his thoughts, he wondered what this 'repayment' was that the two had mentioned, and why it involved the blue haired boy getting hurt.

Morning quickly came but the brunette once again skipped out on school, his grades were good enough and he had more important matters to think about.

During the long timespan from night to school's end, the brunette realized something after the hours of thinking. He strangely enough had special feelings towards Aichi, he tried denying it but the past teasing from Miwa and his recent emotions about the boy kept proving his denial wrong.

"I can't believe I actually like him in that kind of way...."

Kai whispered softly to himself, he had never had feelings like that before but he always guessed that Misaki would have been the one to one day make him feel what he felt. It had never occurred to him in the past that Aichi would, much less any boy, but he couldn't shake his strange feelings away from himself.

He took a look at the clock and decided to head towards card capital, hopefully the blond and the peach haired girl were present there today. The brunette also realized he hadn't met up with the blond again after the tracking but he dismissed that unimportant thought.

Relief rushed into the brunette when he spotted both Emi and Miwa, though it concerned him that the blue haired boy was nowhere in sight.

"Kai!"

The blond chirped when he noticed his friend entering the shop, the brunette nodded and walked over to sit across from him.

"Miwa can you go ask Emi about where Aichi is, then somehow plant a question about their father?"

The brunette's question was just faint enough for the blond to hear. Miwa gave him a confused look before silently nodding and getting up to walk towards the peach haired girl.

"Emi what're ya up to? Also where's Aichi, he sick?"

The blond asked with a friendly smile, the girl looked up from her cards and frowned slightly.

"Aichi said he want feeling well..... Our mom's at home keeping a eye on him"

The brunette guessed that 'not feeling well' meant that the smaller boy had gotten hurt more after he left. Causing him to angrily clench his fist.

"Your mother? What about your father, he at work?"

At the mention of her father, the young girl's blue eyes suddenly darkened.

"No..... He's not with us"

"Ah...... I'm sorry for your loss.... What was he like?"

Miwa asked, knowing that he was being a little insensitive towards Emi's feelings, however his friend had asked him to ask.

Me: that's the end of the chapter

Aichi: .....

Me: what?

Aichi: ..... Some people's guesses are scary

Me: XD hehe don't worry~ I may kill you, slash you and beat you up but I won't make you into a slut~

Aichi: ..... Thanks?...... I think.....

Aichi: now I'm worried for myself ._.
