[Phoenix's POV]

Nick's Game...

I can't believe Hannah convinced me to come tonight. Here we are; now I want to leave. I can't disappoint Hannah Bear. She would become really upset if I ruined her night.

"Hannah, do you think the game will be too long?"

Hannah: "I hope not. I don't know this sport very well."

The game is starting and there goes the hottie who's name is always in my head- "Nicholas Clayworth".

Geesh, I'm falling for him only after a month. Ugh. What is wrong with me? I might as well try to pay attention to the game. He's captain, so this should be interesting.

Wow! He's really fast and strong. He just tackled two guys who look to be a bit bigger than him. I know he told me that he would teach me how to play but I'm a bit scared now. 

No one better try to hurt my Nicky. If anyone even makes an attempt, I'll rip them apart. I'm trained in all types of martial arts. I can do it. Why am I thinking crazy? He's not even mine.

Hannah pats me on the end and asks if I'm okay and I nod yes. She must have noticed my tension. 

Mamma Hannah is always here to the rescue. I think she would protect me with her life. I'd do the same without thinking twice. 

Yes, the game is finally over! Hannah and I head to the field. Nicky's team won the game. I'm proud of him and his team. He looks really sexy in his uniform. Can he wear that around the dorms? I get why everyone wants him and how he'll never be mine. 

[Nick's POV] 

Oh my God! Phoenix came to my game and he brought his friend Hannah with him. (grimaces) Don't get me wrong. She's sweet and all ,but I would have liked to have Phoenix all to myself. He looks really hot right now. Well, he looks hot always, but that's besides the point. 

I know I sound jealous. Well I am. I wish he was here as my boyfriend and not hers. I know I said I wouldn't get in the way, but there has to be something I can do to prove I'm not the only one that feels this extremely strong pull and attraction.

Hannah comes up to me and gives me a tight hug.

Hannah: "Congrats Nick. It's amazing that ya'll won. You were really good during the game."

"Thank you. I only tried my best," I said while looking directly at Phoenix.

He has really pretty eyes. Nice... I hadn't noticed this before. 

"Are you guys going to Kaj's party? He told me to remind you guys."

Hannah: "Yes we are. Super excited about it," she says with her perky voice.

"Good. Can't wait to see you there. I'll be heading to the locker room now. I'll see you later at the party."

Hannah just smiles. I get why Phoenix calls her "silly little girl". She's a lot like a child in some ways.
