Taehyung's P.O.V

After Jennie went inside the building I sighed and told the driver to take me back to where he picked me from. I was in a mood for strolling around the streets but I didn't want to get lost so I just headed back home. After the driver dropped me off,I payed him and he left. I went inside the house and saw Jennie's father sitting on the sofa with some documents in his hand. He looked over to me and gave me a glare which I returned. I was abut to leave and go upstairs to my room when he called out.

"Yah! Where's Jennie?" He asked me rudely.

"None of ur god damn business." -taehyung.

I thought it was better for him to not know and I went back to my room. I layed down on the bed and sighed tiredly. I grabbed my phone and texted Jennie.

'Hey babe!'
'Babe?'
'Hello?'

She must be busy. What should I do? Should I try calling her? No I don't wanna disturb her. I think I will just play games on my phone to kill time.

(Meanwhile)

Jennie's P.O.V

As I went in I got greeted by a staff member. She took to the main office where I met the head of my department. He assigned me my desk and work. I got explained what I had to do and was told to do it in a limited amount of time so I got to work quickly.
It was lunch break and I finally got to stretch myself. I didn't know I will be assigned so much work on my first day. I picked up the phone and noticed some texts from Taehyung. I opened the chat to reply to his messages when a familiar voice called out to me. I turned around to meet my highschool crush, Kim Yugyeom.

"Yugyeom?" -jennie.

"What r u doing here?" -yugyeom

"I just got a job here. I'm a new employee!" -jennie.

"Wow! I can't believe we both r gonna work in the same company!" -yugyeom.

"Haha I know right!" -jennie.

"Oh and sorry about the last time we met,infront of the pancake cafè. I was kinda in a hurry that day so I had to leave-" I cut him off.

"It's fine. So? How's life?" -jennie.

"Um great and you?" -yugyeom.

"Good...." -jennie.

We both went silent for a minute. I giggled at out awkwardness.

"It's been years since we last hungout. We should have like a tons of things to talk about." -jennie.

He laughed at my comment.

"Let's plan a hangout someday?" -yugyeom.

"Sure!" -jennie.

Suddenly some one called out for Yugyeom.

"Oh that's my boss. Gotta go. Bye Jennie." He waved as he left to go to his boss.

I can't believe I used to have a crush on him back in highschool. No doubt Yugyeom is a great guy but I just don't feel anything for him now. He is more like a friend to me. Meeting Yugyeom reminded me of the time when I met him Infront of the cafè and Taehyung got jealous. I giggled at the thought. I snapped back to reality when I remembered that my break was gonna end. I quickly grabbed my phone and purse and dashed to the cafeteria.

Taehyung's P.O.V

I didn't notice when I fell asleep while playing games on my phone. I got up and checked the time it was about 4 in the evening, almost time for Jennie to come home. I checked my texts to see if Jennie replied but she didn't infact she left me on read. I frowned at my screen but shrugged off the thought. I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Jennie's P.O.V

My shift is over and it's about time for me to head home. I quickly packed my stuff and left the building. I was looking for a cab when a car pulled Infront of me. The window rolled down and it was none other than Yugyeom.

"Get in! I'll give u a ride!" -yugyeom.

"Thanks!" I said as I got in the passenger seat.

"Anytime! Besides I think it's better for u to go with me than in a cab all alone." He started up the engine and drove away from the building.

"Yeah I guess u r right!" -jennie.

We talked about past memories and he cracked up jokes that made me laugh. I guided him through the roads and to my house. We stopped Infront of it and we both got out of the car. I invited him inside but he said that he had to take his mom somewhere today so can't be late. We hugged each other goodbye and I went in the house. I went straight to my room. I threw off the coat and my purse on the bed. I tiredly rubbed my eyes. I was about to go to the bathroom to take off my makeup but I got slammed into the wall harshly. I groaned because of the pain that went through my back when it came in contact with the wall. I looked up to notice Taehyung glaring at me,anger rushing through his veins. His cold look sent shivers down my spine. He looked as if he was about to murder someone and there was no sign of him calming down.
