Issue #6: I Need a Doctor

"(Y,N)? Are you awake?"

"It's almost lunch time so, yes, I've been up for a few hours. The question is how long have you been asleep because if you haven't woken up once since the last time I saw you I'm seriously concerned for you that was at least 17 hours ago." I told Cleo through the wall.

"I've actually been up for awhile... did you really draw this?" She asked. She must've been referring to how I took the back of the paper she had Sebastian give me and wrote "You don't have to apologize" with a picture of a rat holding up the message.

"Yeah, that would be me who did that. You can have Sebastian send it back over here if you don't want it." I teased her.

"No, I love it. I really do." She said. She sounded like she was half in lala land. "(Y,N), I shouldn't have pried yesterday, I just-"

"Hey, I said it was fine. You don't have to apologize. I'm not mad or anything. I got a little touchy and had to go relax but I'm fine."

"By relax do you mean killing that bum?"

"I'd be lying if I didn't say that relaxing wasn't one of my reasons for stabbing that guy. He did give me an excuse to do it though by calling me a faggot."

"Idiot." She scoffed. "It is kinda sad that he's only gonna be remembered as 'that guy you killed your first week here' but at the same time he can go to hell."

"(L,N)! Cazo! Lunchtime!" A guard shouted opening the doors to our cells. As I past him he stopped me. "What do you think you're doing stealing prison equipment!?" He asked... tugging on the straight jacket I was still wearing?

"...I'm sorry, you think I stole this? And put this on myself? And liked keeping it on?" I asked before he and another guard forcibly took the jacket off of me.

"Hey, come on, be easy with him!" Cleo protested with added squeaks from Sebastian. Once they finished stripping me they threw me down to the ground next to Cleo.

"Keep it moving!" One of them said.

"Six." I whispered before Cleo helped me get up and I dusted myself off.

"Are you okay?"

"I've been through worse." I told Cleo.

"Wait, you have dry blood on your face. What is that from?"

"Oh yeah, they pushed me down like that last night too but I had the jacket on so I couldn't protect myself. I'm fine."

"You actually have a 72% chance of having a concussion." We looked behind us to see Abner standing there.

"And hello to you too, Abner." I said.

"I'd suggest seeing a doctor but they aren't the best here."

"I mean I know one." I said before I walked past Cleo and Abner. They followed me as I managed to get to Killer Frost's cell right as she walked out. She looked over at me and made a face when she saw the blood all over my face. Honestly I have no idea how bad it actually looks, I just kinda slept through the pain.

"Wow, okay Richard Ramirez, Going for a record for most kills before Waller shoots you dead herself?" She asked.

"Actually this is my blood. I was wondering if you could tell if I have a concussion."

"Why would you ask me?"

"Why I don't know Doctor Caitlin Snow of the prestigious STAR Labs? Why would I?"

"Okay, you know who else is a doctor here? Quinn. You gonna ask the clown with attachment issues to a guy who's nickname is 'the jester of genocide' and probably beat her as much as you beat your meat freshman year for medical advice, too? Also you worked for STAR Labs, too. You know that we were scientists, not pediatricians."

"And as a fan of your work I also know you're a certified people doctor and once performed surgery on The Flash and I trust you a hell of a lot more than I trust the other nut jobs they got working here." I explained. She was taken aback by the fact that I mentioned The Flash. She sucked her teeth before looking away and beginning to walk to the lunch hall.

"Fine! If you're gonna be a bitch about it I'll try to take a look at you but I don't know how much I can really do at a lunchroom table with plastic forks and cockroaches!" She pouted. "God, what part of 'leave me the hell alone' didn't you understand!?"

"Why are you so certain she'll help you and not try to freeze your penis off?" Cleo asked me.

"I'm not. That's why I have you three to watch my back and my dick." I whispered to her, Abner, and Sebastian.

"Don't worry. I will make sure not to let your dick out of my si- okay no, that sounds wrong." Abner said causing Cleo and I to laugh.

"To be fair, I also was going to say that but then tried to think of a better way to phrase it." Cleo said.

"Would you girls stop gossiping back there!?" Caitlin shouted. We walked past TDK who was just eating food in his cell before Terra walked out of her room. She looked disinterested in everything until she noticed me and the blood I'm now growing more and more concerned is extremely... noticeable, I can't think of another word. Shit maybe I do have a concussion.

"You're the guy who killed that guy yesterday right? Killer." She said.

"Was that pun intended?" Abner asked. Terra gave him a dirty look that screamed "how the fuck are you a person who exists"?

"Not showering so you still have the blood stains on you is pretty gross, though."

"Actually the blood's mine from Louisiana's finest pushing me around."

"Oh. Lame." She simply said before continuing on and walking away before I could continue the conversation like all of my cool points vanished with that answer.

"She's not very sociable is she?" I half asked myself.

"I mean not many of us really are." Cleo said. "But Terra is still different. She doesn't really talk to anyone unless she's trying to start a fight. She's a very angry and mean girl. I don't know who left this sassy, lost child here."

"Child? How old is she?" I asked.

"According to an article in a newspaper I read about the Teen Titans four years ago, nineteen." Abner said. We both looked at Abner. "What? It was right next to the funnies and I was using the men's room. What else was I going to do after I read Marmaduke?"

"Waitwaitwait, she was a Teen Titan?" I asked now curious.

"Yeah, when she was 15. It was an interview thing with a bunch of the other members."

"How does a member of the pure and innocent Teen Titans end up in a place like this?" I said aloud but I was more or less asking myself. We were walking past June Moone's cell again as she typed away, but this time I felt it was time to interact with her. I did a quick spin before pressing my forehead against her wall, much like I did with Terra my first night here. She gasped and slightly jumped back. "Still hiding out in here?" I asked her. I didn't get a response. "Relax, I don't bite... I still have the dried blood and the open cut on my head dont I? Look, doesn't matter, you're the one who's possessed by the witch right?"

"W-What about it?"

"I was just wondering if we could maybe hang out some time is all. I'm a big fan of monsters."

"I'm gonna have to take a hard pass on that." She said going back to whatever she was doing on her laptop. I pushed myself off the glass and noticed the bloodstain left on the wall.

"Wait am I still actively bleeding? I might need to see a doctor for real." I said before Cleo hit me in the back of the head. "Ow!"

"Maybe don't slam your face into a wall, idiota!" Cleo said.

"And next time you wanna yell at me for hitting my head, maybe hit me in the stomach instead." I retorted holding the back of my head.
