"EMMA!!!"

"Miss me?" Emma replies.

"OMG YES!! I didn't know you would be back this soon. I just got your letter!" Cleo says.

"Where's Rikki?" Emma asks.

Cleo pulls out her phone and calls Rikki.

"Hey I thought your dad needed you" Rikki says on the phone.

"EMMA IS BACK ALREADY!" Cleo screams.

"Woah woah no need to scream. Is Em with you?"

"Yes"

"Ok I'll be over before you know it."

In a few minutes they heard a doorbell. Rikki walks in.

"EMMA!! I'm so happy to see you!" Rikki says.

"Hey Rikki. I missed you too" Emma replies. Then she gets quite.

"What's wrong Emma?" Cleo asks.

"Um.. guys I think I should talk to you." Emma says.

"About what?" Cleo asks.

"Well... I had to tell my family that I was a mermaid." Emma says looking away. "They said they would keep my secret. I didn't tell them about you guys though."

"Awe Emma it's ok we're not mad." Cleo says.

"Speaking of mermaids" Rikki says. "We need to talk too".

Emma walks over to the couch. "Ok go on ahead" she says.

"Well Emma please don't get mad at us but..." Cleo says

"We kinda met someone else and became friends" Emma opens her jaw.

"But she didn't replace you", Cleo said. "You will always be our friend wherever you are or wherever you live".

"But how are you going to keep our secret?" Emma asks. Cleo looks down and Rikki looks away. "Does she know our secret?"

"Well... she kinda...." Cleo starts.

"She's a mermaid" Rikki says calmly.

Emma's jaw drops. "But... but.. how?"

"She's been a mermaid for a while Em" Cleo says.

Emma starts to tear up. "You said you wouldn't replace me. It sounds like you did. You found someone that was like me and now you are her friend." Emma runs out the door. Cleo starts to follow.

"Oh great" Rikki says. "What are we going to do now?" She shakes her head.

Emma's POV

I walk to the beach. I can't believe that found someone like me. They don't sound like friends right now to me. She starts to head towards the ocean until she accidentally bumps into a girl and knocks her over.

"Omg, I'm so sorry" I say.

"It's alright" she says. "By the way I'm Bella, Bella Hartley."

"Hi I'm Emma, Emma Gilbert" I say.

I look at her and Bella looks shocked.

"Um why are you looking at me like that?" I ask.

"Are you the Emma?" she asks.

"Um i don't know what you are talking about" I say to her.

"Your friends with Cleo and Rikki. They told me you would be coming but I didn't know this soon" she says.

Emma gasps. I start to get angry and runs into the ocean. I start to head to the moon pool but knows that Cleo and Rikki would look there so I heads toward Drayton's Reef, North of the island. I knew they would never look there.

Bella's POV

I look out towards the ocean. I wonder where she went. I must go tell Cleo and Rikki. Before I start to walk my phone rings. "Hello?"....."Yea"......"I met her but she stormed off. I don't think she likes me"..... I don't know......Ok bye. I stare at the water and then look. No one is watching. I jump into the water and run. After ten seconds my tail appears and I head to the moon pool.

Cleo's POV

*Calls Lewis* Lewis Emma got back.... No well yea it's a good thing but she got mad......she met Bella and doesn't like her....meet us at the moon pool. *Hangs up* I start to get in the water and then I take off. Rikki had already gone to look so I started to look in the ocean. Where could she be?

Lewis' POV

I run to my boat and start to head to Mako Island. I couldn't wait to see Emma but I wasn't really excited to see her in this mood.

Cleo's POV

I finally got to the moon pool. 

"Did you see her" I ask Rikki.

"I would've dragged her here if I did" she replied.

I wonder where she could be.

After a few Lewis comes in. 

"No luck, huh?" he says.

"Where could she be?" I say.

Lucas' POV

I was swimming in the water when I saw something fast come out of nowhere. As soon as I saw it I got curious and followed it. I followed and followed until I saw it. I blinked. I blinked again. was I actually seeing this? It was a mermaid with light hair and an orange tail. Before she could spot me I hid. She turned around and I saw her face. It was beautiful. I started to stare. Should I say hi or should I stay here hidden. I chose to wait.

Lewis' POV

"Ok you have looked everywhere and you can't find her?" Lewis asks.

"Yeah I don't know where else to look" Rikki said.

"Hmm" I thought. Then a thought came to my mind. "What about Drayton's Reef?" I ask.

"I don.." Rikki tried to say but I cut her off

"Cleo went there once" I said. "It doesn't hurt to try and look."

"Bu.." Cleo tried to say

"I'll go grab some fish you go try to find her there" I say.

"Ok Lewis" Cleo says and they turn around and go back under.

I quickly run back to my boat and grab some fish, just in case there are sharks.

Emma's POV

I turn around and realize maybe I shouldn't have gone here. She saw sharks everywhere. Then she saw something blue and scale like. What is that? I wondered. I had not time to worry about that sharks were coming towards me in all directions until I saw them turn away and swim really fast the opposite way. What???  Then I saw Rikki and Cleo heading my way. I smiled.

Cleo's POV

We swam so fast and when we got there we saw Emma. She smiled. We swam together back to the moon pool. 

When we got there we saw Bella.

"Bella" I said

"Hey sorry I missed helping you guys" she said and looked at Emma.

"Bella I'm sorry the way I acted. I just felt, I don't know like I had been replaced. I was wrong though. And you seem like a great friend. How about a juice?" Emma said.

We looked at her. 

"Um.. did I miss something?" she said.

"Rikki and Zane own a cafe called Rikki's now" I said.

"Oh oops" she said.

"Let's go have some fun" Rikki said.
