Jason had always been protective of Cheryl. He loved her to death, and was the most protective and best older brother she could ask for. When they were younger, he even combined their birthday parties because nobody would ever go to Cheryl's, and he hated the look of disappointment on her face.

He always loved Cheryl's spontaneous decisions. When his sister started hanging out with Charles Lox's daughter, he was suspicious. He met Liv and there was something different about the ebony haired girl

Her entire family didn't meet anybody's expectations. They were kind. Jason for one loved the atmosphere in her home.

That was, before the death of her parents.

Max was colder but still the same sweet older brother. Karmen was still perky, but now you could easily tell it was a facade. Her ambiance gave a different story.
