Singing Memory

After School:

Adrien's POV:

When school was out I walked to the bakery. When I walked in a heard an angelic voice from the backroom. I could tell it was Marinette.

"Would you bleed for me?

Lick it off my lips like you needed me?

Would you sit me on a couch?

With your fingers in my mouth?

You look so cool when you're reading me.

Let's cause a little trouble.

Oh, you make me feel so weak.

I bet you kiss your knuckles.

Right before they touch my cheek.

But I've got my mind, made up this time.

Cause there's a menace in my bed.

Can you see his silhouette?

Can you see his silhouette?

Can you see his silhouette?

And I've got my mind, made up this time.

Go on and light a cigarette, set a fire in my head.

Set a fire in my head, tonight." She sang while carrying boxes into the storeroom.

She had freaking muscles... God, that's hot... I can't believe she hasn't noticed me. Then she turned around.

"Oh my God... How much did you hear..." She asked, bright red.

"Enough to tell that you are a great singer." I said grinning.

"Umm, oh thanks..." She said quietly, "oh, umm... About the croissants, I still need to make some. Mali sold all our pre-made ones today. I can teach you how to make them since I still have to make them anyways."

"Sure." I said smiling, she unlatched the hook behind the counter and took me to the back room, she left the door propped open.

"Can you go wash your hands, I'll get the ingredients'." She said sweetly.

"Okay," I said walking over to the sink.

She gathered the ingredients and washed her hands. She then poured out some stuff and handed it to me.

"Okay so I have this,

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.

2.1 cup warm water.

3.1 teaspoon active dry yeast.

4.1/4 cup of milk.

5.1/2 tablespoon of melted butter.

6.1 teaspoon salt.

7.1 3/4 cups cold unsalted butter (3 1/2 sticks or 14 oz)" She said.

(A/N-Omg, those are the actual things you need XD)

"Okay..." I said shy like.

"Pour the flour in here then add the water slowly..." She said directing my hands, where to put what.

"Did you memorize this?" I asked her.

"Yup, I had to do it, now add the Yeast." She said looking at me.

Then the bell on the door rang. Marinette waved me over and we went to the counter, it was an old man in a flower print shirt. I recognized him from somewhere.

"Ahh, did you finally figure it out Mari?" He asked pointing at me.

"Umm, what? Master Fu what do you mean...?" She asked confused.

"Opps, forget I said anything." The man said laughing, " may I have two banana bread muffins?"

"Of course, it's on the house." Mari said smiling.

"Thank you child." He said grabbing his muffins and leaving.

"What was that about?" I asked,

"Umm, nothing... Anyways, lets get back to work." She said smiling.

Eventually we were done, they looked amazing.

"You did a great job." She said.

I laughed, "you did everything, I just did what you said."

"Pssh, whatever." She said laughing.

"So, I heard you design clothes?" I said.

"Oh, yeah... I can show you if you want..." She said.

"Yes, please!" I said eagerly.

"Okay," she reached in her bag and grabbed a portfolio thing.

"Wow..." I said when I opened it, "these are amazing!" I said truly.

"T-thanks, they are really bad..." She mumbled.

"Whatever, I can show these to my dad sometime if you want." I said smiling.

"If he isn't busy that would be awesome." She said blushing and smiling.

"Thank you..." I said grinning.

"For what?" She asked confused.

"For not treating me like some snobby rich kid." I said laughing.

"O-oh," she giggled, "you're welcome I guess."
