[Monty's PoV]

"FRIEND?? MONTY?? MONTGOMERY?? COWORKER??? BAND MEMBER??? HELLO?? ARE YOU OKAY?? PLEASE WAKE UP-"

I groggily opened my eyes to see Sun shaking me. "Holy piss- I'm fine, sunflower." wha- fucking /sunflower/??? Good goin, brain.

"ARE YOU SURE???? Y-YOU PASSED OUT AND- AND I WAS SO SCARED THAT YOU--" Tears began to prick at Sun's eyes. God, he must've really been worried.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. I just overheated." I said, prying Sun's hands off of me. "You don't need to worry 'bout me..What time is it?"

"OH!! IT'S 6!!" He said, his eyes lighting up again. Cute. wait no FUKC

"..Huh..Why are you so excited..?" I asked.

"BECAUSE THE DAYCARE'S OPEN, SILLY!" He picked me up with his extendo-arms and spun me around. Guess he really likes doing that. "AND IT'S GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN! YOU'LL LOVE IT, I KNOW YOU WILL!! THE KIDS WILL DEFINITELY LIKE YOU! I PROMISE!!!!"

"I-I believe you, I believe you- justputmedownplease-"

"OH! Of course, friend!!" Sun put me down on the floor gently, though he's practically SHAKING with energy.

I sat down and me and Sun began talking about..Everything, really. This guy's never really been outside. I mean, I haven't either, honestly. Only outdoor birthday parties n shit. But, it's more than Sun can say, I guess. So, eventually, we get to talkin about flowers.

"What's a flow- Floo- Flow-"

"Flower." I corrected Sun. "It's like..This little thing with weird..Circle things on it-"

"OH!! You mean the organic thing that the kids drew! And- And it comes out of the ground, right??" God, this guy's sheltered.

"Yeah. And you can take it from the ground and- Y'know what? I'll bring you one soon." I said, and his eyes lit up.

"WOAH!! REALLY??? I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE THE OUTSIDE THINGS-" Sun's spikes began to spin as he flapped his hands. god this guy is- no. brain. stop that. he's your COWORKER for fucks sake. then again, though, moon /did/ seem pretty into me- no shut the FUCK up brain

"Alrighty. Hey- When does the daycare open?" I asked.

"Oh!! It opens at 8 AM!" He said, flapping his hands. Woah. Man must really love his job. Kinda- no. ive said that too much today.

I checked the time on my phone. 7:50 AM. Ten more minutes, then eventually, the kids would start flooding in. Not too bad, right? I deal with kids on a daily basis. I thought that it'd be fine. Just a bunch of kids tellin me how cool I am. Easy.

It wasn't easy.

Me and Sun talked for the next ten minutes. We talked about..Everything, to be honest. He was really excited to be talking to me. I mean, it's understandable. I'm /really/ cool. /Really/. /Cool/. After a while, though, kids started to flood in. I decided to sit in the corner and just..Watch. See what Sun does all day, y'know? I mean, watching kids can't be /too/ hard, right?

As I watched Sun playing with the kids, I began to think. How the FUCK was this guy so cute? His blonde hair, his blue eyes, just..EVERYTHING. I felt my face heat up a bit. god fucking DAMN this guy was good with kids. I mean, he knew EXACTLY what to do in /any. situation. Kid crying? Arts and crafts. Kid scared? Tell 'em a story. And the way his eyes lit up while he was helping these kids..JKDFASG.

Soon, I noticed a kid, around 8, sitting next to me.

"Heya, kiddo. Whatcha doin?" I asked, looking down at the kid.

"..Why were you staring at mr. Sun?" They asked.

god fucking dammit

"Well- Y'see, uh-"

"Do you have a crush on mr. Sunny???" The kid interrupted me.

"N-"

"HEY GUYS!!" The kid ran back to the group, yelling "MONTY LIKES SUNNY! MONTY LIKES SUNNY!" I saw Sun trying to calm the kids down, but they weren't havin it. For some reason, kids REALLY liked to gossip. Jesus fuck.

"MONTY AND SUNNY SITTIN IN A TREE-" god fucking dammit now theyre doing THIS shit.

"Q-Quiet down, kids! How about a story??? A puppet show?? GLITTER GLUE??" Sun said, his voice sounding anxious. To be fair, I couldn't really blame him. I really thought this'd be easy, huh?
