Girl Meets First Date

John Quincy Adams Middle School

Ashlynn and Aiden had decided to spend the day in Middle school. The two teens were bored and had nothing better to do. Seniors always finished before middle school, so Cory allowed them to spend their free time in his classroom. When the two teens walked into the room, their conversation stopped when they spotted Riley sitting on her desk.

"What did we just walk into?" Ashlynn muttered to her boyfriend, her eyes not moving from the scene in front of her. Aiden didn't answer her as he just stood there with wide, confused eyes and a confused look on his face. "Dad, are you out of your mind?" Riley looked at her father in shock. Ashlynn, not moving from her spot, looked at Riley with a raised eyebrow. "Out of all this, that's what you are questioning?"

"Riley, it's time for the talk," Cory told his daughter, completely ignoring his sister. Ashlynn shared a look of disbelief with her niece, while Maya and Aiden shared an amused look. "In front of the whole class?" Cory's daughter questioned him. As the father looked away from his daughter, he spotted Lucas outside the door. He then turned to the blonde best friend.

"Yeah, give her the talk." The blonde chuckled. "Let's see what you got." "Okay, when a daughter-" Cory started. Aiden and Ashlynn's eyes widened, staring at the older man in shock. "Stop!" Riley stopped her father from talking. Cory spotted Lucas coming through the backdoor of the class from the corner of his eye. "Excuse me." He ran from his daughter to the backdoor. He quickly shut it and put his weight against the door to stop his student from coming in. "Not today, Chachi!"

Lucas opened the door with ease even, with Cory still against the door. "Sir, you've known me All year. You like me, admit it. You like my big brother with your baby sister. What's the difference." "I don't want to admit it." Cory denied stubbornly. Before he glared over at the older teens, his sister sitting on his desk chair spinning slowly and her boyfriend watching her amused and loving. "My parents like your brother, so I don't have a say in it." He spared one more glance to the couple. "She'd probably date him anyway. Somehow finding a way from me to like him as well."

Lucas stared at his best friend's father/his teacher in confusion. "I'm one of the good kids. What are you so afraid of?" The older teen couple looked at the man in sadness, knowing he was scared to see his little girl grew up. "Okay." Cory walked to the front of the classroom, sharing a smile with his sister. He took the eraser and erased 'Belgium 1931' from the board. "No!" Farkle stood up from his seat, holding the flag of Belgium in his hands, before noticing the weird looks he was getting and slowly sat on down again.

"Okay, guys. It's the seventh-grade spring fever, which leads to dating, which leads to movies, which leads to popcorn, which leads to putting your hands together in the dark, touching popcorn, which leads to holding hands, which leads to that!" Cory freaks out, pointing to Dargi and Yogi, who were Eskimo kissing. "Oh, I am not ready for this." He walked towards the couple and pulled Yogi away from the girl carrying him to his desk. "Come with me. Come here. Come on, no, come on. Come with me." He then turned to see his sister kissing her boyfriends check. "Which could lead to that!" He then pulled his desk chair, with Ashlynn on it, and place it in between Riley and Maya.

He turned to his daughter. "Riley, I am begging you to stay in Neverland, okay? No growing up. Ash has." Farkle raised his hand. "What do you want?" "The way I see it, I'm in an interesting position here," Farkle told his best friend's father. Cory looked at his student. "How do you figure, Farkle?" "Let's approach this as a scientific equation. You're scared of Lucas going out with Riley, right?" Farkle asked him. Cory scoffed at the question. "Oh, does it show?" "Yes." The teen couple answered in unison. Ashlynn haven moved back to behind the desk.

Cory pointed at the younger Friar brother. "He's 36!" "Give your daughter to me." Ashlynn and Aiden shared weird and amused looks at what the boy just said. "I'll give you four oxen and my best cow." Riley watched as her father looked between the two boys. "Are you actually thinking about it?" "It's a good deal. Cory shrugged. Riley shot up from her desk, staring at her father. "I will decide who I can go on my first date with as such time as somebody asks me." The older couple were hiding their amused smiles as the younger Friar brother raised his hand. Riley saw this and smiled widely at her Dad.

Aiden and Ashlynn were sitting on the steps watching the scene play out in front of them. "Why do you think he put his hand down?" Riley turned to her best friend. "Because your Dad wouldn't call on him. And I don't think he ever will again." Maya laughed. Righ sighed. "Life used to be so simple, Maya; wake up, brush my hair, eat cereal. Pick up the bowl of cereal that I dropped." "When did all of this pressure happen?" Maya asked her best friend.

Ashlynn walked to the two best friends, putting her arms around the two girls. "You're growing up, sweeties. Eventually, you will get the hang of growing up; your first date, your first boyfriend, your first everything. You will have us by your side. I will be by your side." "Thank you." Riley smiled at her aunt. Her smile then went down into a frown. "Boys have it easy they get to ask. Oh yeah, they wouldn't last a day in our shoes. Waiting for them to get the courage to ask us."

Maya nodded. "And then the vacuuming and ironing the babies. Riley, this isn't the 90's anymore. You want something. You go get it." "I agree with May." Ashlynn nodded, looking at her niece. Riley looked between her aunt and best friend. "You're telling me that neither of you isn't a little bit afraid of this?" "No," Maya answered while Ashlynn just shook her head.

Riley looked at them. "You're saying if you had feelings for somebody that you wouldn't be nervous?" Ashlynn and Maya shook their heads before the blonde answered. "No, the only thing that makes me nervous is that the thing that everybody wants to happen ver happens because everybody's too afraid to make it happen." Maya and Ashlynn shared a look before linking their arms and walking to where the Friar brothers and Farkle were sitting on the bench. "Hey, ranger Ric."

Lucas smiled. "Hey, other one." "You wanna go out with me?" Maya stared at Lucas. Riley's jaw dropped open. Ashlynn hid her face in her boyfriend's chest to stifle her laughter while he hid his face in her hair. "What?" Lucas stared at the blonde in shock. He looked at his older brother and sister figure for advice to see them hiding their laughter. Maya looked at Lucas before answering. "Do you wanna take me to the movies, put our hands in the popcorn at the same time and see what happens or what?" "Okay, you and me, cause I don't care." Farkle walked over to the shell-shocked Riley and linked their arms.

Matthews Residence

Ashlynn and Aiden were cuddling on the couch when the doorbell went. Aiden mumbled to the Matthew girl. "There's my baby brother." "You!" Cory hissed as soon as he opened the door to see Lucas. Lucas smiled at the man. "Me." "Auggie's not home," Cory told me. Lucas shook his head. "Yeah, I'm not here to see Auggie." "Your brother isn't here," Cory replied straight away. Lucas shook his head again. "Nope, not here to see my brother." "Ash is with Aiden," Cory told the young boy. Lucas sighed a bit. "Not here for Ashlynn either." "Riley's not home either," Cory told Lucas, not knowing that Maya and Riley were standing behind him. Riley waved and smiled at the boy. "Hi, Lucas."

"That's right. I lied right in your face!" Cory exclaimed, not looking away from the boy in front of him. Lucas looked at Riley before turning his attention back to the man in front of him. "Actually, Mr Matthews, I'm not here to her either." Aiden turned to see Ashlynn had a smirk on her face and whispered to her. "Do you know what's happening?" Ashlynn nodded. "You're not?" Cory asked the boy in front of him, confused but hopeful. Riley asked him, with shock and a bit of hurt in her voice. "You're not?" "I want to do this the right way." Lucas smiled at Cory. "So, first, I'm here to talk to you, sir."

Cory chuckled to the young boy. He turned to see Riley, Maya, Topanga and Ashlynn smiling while Aiden just had a smirk on his face. Turning his attention back to the youngest Friar brother. "I want to do this the right way too, Lucas." He smiled. "No!" He slammed the door in his face. He pressed his body against the door, hoping to keep Lucas out. "Not going to work." "Already tried that." The older teens told him, looking amused but bored.

The door opened as Lucas walked in with Cory still against it. "Me Matthews, would it be possible to speak to you alone?" "About the homework?" "No." "About a grade?" "No." Cory smiled at his student. "Then this has nothing to do with me. You've come to the wrong place. Good day." "Actually-" Lucas started. Cory cut the boy off. "I said 'good day, sir." "But I need to talk to you." Lucas followed the older Matthews towards the kitchen.

Cory turned around. "Is this about a historical event? I can only speak to you about historical events." "Yes." Lucas looked at Cory. Cory smiled. "Well, then go right ahead." "I am asking permission to ask your daughter out." Cory's smile faded. "You tricked me." "That's right. I lied right in your face." Lucas mocked him. Cory turned looked towards his sister. "Get him, Ash!" Ashlynn stood up and walked over towards her favourite younger teen, next to Farkle, of course. "Lucas Friar, my little brother, I give you permission to go on a date with RiRi." Lucas and Aiden smiled when she said, 'my little brother'.

Cory smiled before glaring at his sister. "No! Topanga, get him!" "My pleasure." She walked over to the youngest Matthews, beside her sister-in-law, and put a hand on his shoulder. "Lucas... you are about the most charming young man I have ever met." "Yeah!" Cory had a smug smirk before he looked away, disappointed, realizing what his wife said. Topanga continued. "But as delighted as I am that this day and age you would come to her our blessing. Do you really think that Riley is ready?" "Yes!" Riley caught her mother as she stood behind her and Ashlynn. Ashlynn gave a 'Be cool' look over her shoulder.

"Yes." Riley nodded and pointed her finger. Cory turned to his wife. "Topanga, we need to talk." "Mr Matthews, me, you and Ash need to talk," Maya said as she and Ashlynn stood behind him. Cory turned towards the two. "God, help me." The two pushed him until he was sitting at the kitchen table. Cory sat sidewards, Ashlynn sat in front of him. Maya stood beside the two.

Maya looked at him. "When a father turns a certain age-" "-things will start to happen to you that you don't understand." Ashlynn continued. Maya looked at him with a straight face. "It'll confuse you-" "-but it's a magical time." Ashlynn copied that straight face. Cory looked disgusted. "Shut up!" "Look, don't worry." Ashlynn put her hand on her brother's shoulder. Maya nodded. "This is normal. It's just your body's way of telling you that-" "-you are a woman," The two told him in union with smiles. Ashlynn then grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "If it makes you feel any better. Don't think of it as a date." Maya wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "Think of it as a beautiful fantasy world that only includes the two of them and not you anymore."

Ashlynn smirked at her brother and want to sit with Aiden, who was laughing loudly. "I appreciate you, Maya," Topanga walked over to the blonde. "I think you're pretty fierce." She wrapped an arm around her shoulders, winking at her sister-in-law. The front door opened. Josh walked in with a smile. "Hey, kiddies." Ashlynn turned her head around to face him quickly. Aiden was surprised she didn't get whiplash. Ashlynn squealed and rushed towards her twin. She jumped into his arms. Josh swung her around, causing her to giggle.

"Uncle boing." Maya fell towards the ground, only for Topanga to catch her. Cory pointed towards his baby brother when he finally sat his twin down. "My brother!" "My brother!" Josh copied his older brother's actions. "Hey, I come with news." Maya turned her head to Topanga and nodded. "Thank you. I'm good." "I'm joining N.Y.U. pre-collage, so I'll be here all summer." Josh shared mischievous smiles with his twin. Maya started falling to the ground again. "Okay, I'm not good." "I gotcha." Topanga caught her.

Cory walked over to his younger twin siblings. "Josh, seeing as your twin can't do it," He glared at the said girl, who just smirked and saluted. "Would you do me a favour and explain to your niece that she is way too young to go out on her first date?" "Nice," Josh smirked at his niece. "What lept you going so long? Welcome to the party, guys." He pushed his niece closer to the younger Friar brother, while Ashlynn pushed the younger Friar brother closer to her niece. "Enjoy."

Cory looked at his bother with anger. "Get out of my house!" "Work, well done." The twins shared satisfied smirks and nods before saying. Maya looked over to the older Matther twin. "I'll do to the party with you, Josh." "Still too old for you, Maya." Josh shook his head, sharing a look with his twin. Maya walked over to him. "Three years, what're three years in the history of love? They found cavemen footprints, a man and a woman they didn't know how old they were. All the scientists could tell was they were holding hands. You know why? That was all that was important."

"Wow, Maya." Josh kept taking one step back every step Maya took forward. Aiden and Ashlynn shared wide-eyed looks before silently laughing. "Oh, you know what's important is that my first appointment with my campus advisor is downstairs." Josh smiled, taking his phone out of his pocket to check the time before rushing downstairs. He looked around the door again. "Love you, A!"

Ashlynn grinned and shouted back. "Love you too, J!" Cory saw that the door was opened and slammed it shut and putting his weight against it. "So I have everybody's permission, except Mr Matthews?" Everyone looked over at Cory, "Lucas, I like you. I really do." Cory looked at the younger Friar brother before sighing. "I just. I like your brother more." Aiden smirked. "Oh, so finally admit it?" Ashlynn giggled. "But do I look like the kind of guy to let his child go out on a date this young?" Cory continued his rant, ignoring the couple.

Ashlynn walked to her room to get her water bottle and walked back into the room to hear Farkle say. Ashlynn walked to her room to get her water bottle and walked back into the room in time for Farkle to say. "Really? Because I got a cow in the elevator?" Ashlynn blinked before looking at her boyfriend for answers, who just shrugged. She went and sat on his lap.

Everyone turned to face Farkle, amused. "On one condition."Cory turned his attention back to the youngest Friar brother. Maya and Ashlynn shared annoyed looks. "Uh-oh." "I want this to be a triple date," Cory smirked. "Okay? If you are going to go out with him." He pushed his daughter and the youngest Friar brother closer together. "Then you go out with him." He brought the blonde teen and the brainiac closer. Farkle smiled. "That works for me because you're Riley or Maya." "Dad, you can't just tell her who to go out with on her first date." Riley looked at her father, shocked.

He smirked. "Oh, don't think of it as a date, Maya. Think of it as a magical time and a journey to include {rasberry}." He sat on the couch beside the teen couple, proud of himself. "You said triple date? There's only two?" Topanga looked at her husband, confused. Cory gestured towards the couple next to him. "Meet the chaperones." "Naturally." Ashlynn glared at her brother.

Lucas turned his attention to Riley. "So-" "Yes." Riley nodded happily. "Riley-" "Yes." She interrupted again. Topanga looked at the blonde teen and sighed. "Maya." "I'll fix it." Maya nodded. Lucas turned back to Riley. "Would you like to go out with me?" "Y-ay!" Riley's body shook with happiness and a wide smile. The two older teens looked at Topanga. "She can't fix that."

"So Maya-" Farkle turned to the blonde. Maya interrupted. "No." "Would you-" "No." Cory looked at the teenager. "I mean it, Maya." "Would you like to do whatever they're doing?" Farkle smiled at her. Maya looked at everybody, sighed then looked back towards Farkle. "Yeah, fine." She held her arms out to catch the boy, as he fell with a dazed smile, but changed her mind last second. He fell to the floor with a thud.

Aiden grinned and stood up with Ashlynn, who raised an eyebrow at him. The oldest Friar got down on one knee with a hand in his. "Ashlynn Elizabeth Matthews, will you go on a date with me? To babysit teenagers that your brother doesn't trust?" "Aiden Noah Friar, I would absolutely love to go on a date with you." Ashlynn got out through her giggles at his dramatics. "Really the full name?" He whispered, leaning his forehead on hers.

She smiled. "Well, you said mine, so yeah. I did" The three girls were watching the couple in aww. The three boys just rolled their eyes. "Wait!" Cory exclaimed, standing up to face the pair. "Your middle name is Noah?." Ashlynn giggled, nodding.

Ashlynn walked into Riley's room with her heels clicking on the floor. The other two Matthew and Hart girls gasped in shock. "Wow, Ash!" The three girls mouths grouped. "Thank you." She looked Riley and Maya's outfits over. "You two look wonderful too." Everyone giggled. "Ready?" Topanga asked the three. They all nodded.

The three girls walked down the steps to where they're meeting the boys. "Het Maya, let's run towards each other in slow motion." Farkle started running in 'slow motion'. "Maya!" She shook her head. "No." "Come on. You know you want to." He stopped and looked at her. Aiden went to comment only to see Riley doing the same to Lucas. "Stop." Aiden, Ashlynn and Maya told her.

Lucas stared at Riley before walking towards her. "Hi." "Hi." She smiled. "Hi. I thought I was going to be too nervous to say anything, but I'm not." Farkle spoke at a fast pace. "I'm talking well. I'm a good date talker, the best day talker there is." Lucas was still looking at Riley. "Even though this just happened, there was some moments you know you're gonna remember forever." He smiled at the girl. "This is one of them."

"You looked breathtaking, as usual, darling." He smirked before kissing her forehead, nose, cheeks then her lips. Farkle turned back to Maya. "I'm the third-best date talker there is. Oh, the trains coming, All aboard." Ashlynn called the four back. "Aiden and I are going to leave this to you guys. We will meet up again around half nine, okay?" Aiden winked. "Cory will never know. We trust you guys go have fun." They smiled at the two older teens before climbing on the train.

Date

Aiden and Ashlynn went to watch a movie. They sat at the back of the cinema, although they didn't watch anything they just made out. They went and got an Mc Donalds because they weren't that hungry, then a walk through the park before heading back to the subway. As they reached the bottom of the steps, Maya, Riley, Farkle and Lucas all got off the train. Aiden and Ashlynn decided to stay at his house and walked with Lucas. They messed about the whole way back.

Ashlynn got changed and headed to Lucas' room while Aiden was getting changed. She knocked on the door and heard 'come in'. She popped her head around the door. "Hey, I just wanted to say good night." She walked in and kissed his forehead. "Night, Ash." His eyes closed, falling asleep. She walked back to Aiden's room. He was lying there with his eyes closed. She crawled in beside him. He cuddled into her chest with an arm around her waist. "Night, baby, I love you." "Night. I love you too."
