Chapter 1

I was on the verge of asking the librarian about the book when I aurally perceived a shrill cry from behind. A woman with affrighted appearance was pointing at the glossy hardwood floor of the library.

A mundane day and I'm on my daily routine heading towards the library. I head over to gather books I've been wanting to read for quite a while when something in the corner of my eye catches my attention. An eccentric-looking book was sitting in the corner of a desultory shelf. To my curiosity, I head over to prehend and inspect the book. It was a brown, hardbound book with no title on its front cover. "Odd," I mutter. I flip through the [ages and see a phrase on the middle page of the book: "Coffee Spill" in bold, jet-black letters, seemingly written just recently. I thought of it as a comical prank by some minor fiddling around with some books. I shrugged it off with a chuckle and moved on with my day of untroubled reading.

I awoke to an eerie sensation. Nonetheless, there was definitely nothing to cease my vibrancy, right?  I journeyed my way to the library anew to give myself a fresh start to the day. "Poetry seems like the sort of book to fit my mood for the day perhaps?" Probing through the resounding halls and collecting the finest poems sparked a thought in my head. "Coffee... That would definitely intact the library atmosphere!" I approached a coffee machine nearby when my gawky fingers unhandled the steaming cup of latte. "Oh no! My shirt!", I exclaimed. That's when I could hear the gushing of adrenaline when I had remembered the phrase yesterday's book had mentioned. "Coffee Spill". "Huh, this had to be some kind of mere coincidence, is...what I once again thought to myself. Since all the baloney has happened suddenly, why not take a peek at the book once more? It won't do any harm, right? This time when I had flipped the pages all the way to the middle of the page,  I had seen not a phrase, but a word. It said, "Fire". "No way has this got to be real. This has to be a certain prank." I tramped out of the building irritated and bewildered with zero knowledge with what was ahead of me the following day.
