Coma

It had been a week since Jack had gone into the coma. Flowers, balloons, fan letters, and family letters, lined the room. Jackie, Bobby, and Rose sat at the edge of Jack's bed, just listening to the beeping of his heart on the monitor. The doctors had managed to get the bullet out of his neck, but he was still in a coma. Rose stood up. "I am going to get some coffee. Does anyone want to come with me?" Bobby stood up. "I will. Jackie do you want to come with us?" Jackie shook her head. "No. But please get me a coffee with two sugars and three of the milk packets." Bobby nodded. They walked out, leaving Jackie alone with Jack. Jackie held his hand. All of the sudden, Jack moved. "Jack?" Jackie asked. Jack slowly opened his eyes. "Kid." Jackie started to cry. She threw her arms around him. "Jack! You almost died! I was so worried!" Just then the door opened. "Jackie, here's," Bobby started. He looked at Jack and dropped the coffee, spilling it all over the floor. "Jack!" Bobby and Rose exclaimed at the same time. "Hello." Jack said sleepily as rose and Bobby embraced him. "Where are the kids?" Jack asked. Jackie smiled. "They are with Janet and Maud at Hammersmith. I will have them flown here." While Rose went to call the rest of the Kennedy family, Jackie called Janet, and Bobby called people at the White House. After the phone call to Janet, Jackie decided to call her best friends, Audrey and Grace to have them come to Dallas.
Soon, Ethel, Teddy, Joan, Joe, Eunice, Sargent, Caroline, John, Grace, Audrey, and Patricia arrived in Dallas. They all celebrated.
