Finney:

I was helping Robin with math as we both know he hated the subject with a burning passion.

"Okay, four divided by eight, then eight times two." I said pointing to the question as Robin just silently wrote the answer.

"Hey you ok? You've been distraught all day" I said reading over the question to make sure it was right.

"And your not? I mean how can anyone be clam after what Gwen told us..." he said recalling the dreaded Saturday I wish I could I could forget. Secretly I think we all do.

"Yeah, I'm done hiding it, but what can we do? I mean Gwen's the only one with clues to where he is but still hasn't had a dream for days. We've called the police...there's nothing else they can do but call us crazy." I said reading over Robins question making sure it was correct.

"Maybe we should stop relying on the police. What was Gwen writing in those seven pieces of paper she had folded up last week?" He asked looking to the side.

"She wouldn't tell me. Again..." I sighed wondering why Gwen was being so distant from me lately.

"Hey, let's not get upset mi amor. It's gonna be okay. She'll tell us when's she's ready..." he said taking my hand and running his finger over my thumb gently.

"Ha, yeah." I said looking away from him.

"I FOUND HIM!" Gwen said kicking the door open.

"Really!?" I said standing up from the bed quickly.

"Who?" Robin said tilting his head in confusion staring at us like we're crazy.

"No time to explain! come on!" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him outside of the room that Gwen had already rushed out of.

"Okay! I'm going!" He said finally starting to walk.

We practically beat Vance's front door down until he opened it and Gwen pushed past him to use the phone. We went to Vance's instead of using our own phone since dad had cut the line from throwing a beer bottle across the room the other night.

"Jesus! Do you kids need a blood sacrifice to!?" Vance said rolling his eyes as Gwen called the police to tell them about the Grabbers location.

"What's up guys? Do you always barge in like this? It's cool!" Griffin said being a little ball of sunshine like he always was.

"Hey buddy, no Vance is just being over dramatic" Robin said laughing elbowing my shoulder. As I laughed at his stupid joke

"Oh, okay!" Griffin said grabbing Robin into a tight hug.

"Hugging, a bit to tight there buddy" Robin squeaked out through Griffins massive hug.

"Okay they're on their way." Gwen said hanging the phone up and bitting her nails vigorously.

We waited on the cops for half an hour after Vance got tired of waiting.

"Gwen they're not coming! Come on we'll go find him ourselves." Vance said grabbing car keys off of a hanger in his living room and walking out of the door with all six of us trailing behind him.

"They might already be there..." Gwen said bluntly following Vance out of the room.

Vance, Bruce, billy, griffin, Gwen, Robin and I all piled into Vance's moms car and he turned the key in the ignition and drove out his driveway.

"Turn" Gwen said giving Vance directions as griffin and Billy held each other. I looked to Robin who was shaking his leg faster than Gwen giving Vance directions.

"Gwen?" Robin said breaking the awkward silence.

"What Robin?" Gwen said turning her head to face the older boy beside her.

"What was written in the pieces of papers you were writing at Vance's?" Gwen instead of answering Robin got extremely quiet and we just sat in an silence that filled the car as Vance drove us all to grabbers supposed location according to Gwen.

We parked a few feet away from the house as we all anxiously walked up the front porch.

Vance:

Nothing. I knocked again. If this really was the house He lived in I was going to be sure to kick the absolute shit out of him harder than I had done anyone else before.

"The vans not there..." Finney said grabbing onto Robins hand looking towards the driveway. We all turned our heads towards the road seeing police cars pull into the street.

"Hey we got a call about a murderer who escaped prison?" The cop asked pointing between Gwen and the rest of us.

"Yeah...That would be us" Finney said his voice going soft as he put an arm around the shaky quiet Gwen.

Gwen:

"Hey," Robin said sitting next to me under the tree in the grabbers front yard as we all waited for "ok" to go home while they tired to find the grabber.

"Hey..." I sighed out leaning on his shoulder since Finney was inside still talking with police.

"Finns almost done giving his statements in there." Robin said looking to the side as he rested his head atop of mine.

"Robin? If I tell you what was written in those letters, you won't tell anyone else will you? Promise?" I said looking up at him slightly.

"Promise Gwen," he said smiling.

"Well, do you know what a goodbye letter is? Like something you write before a tragic event or death?" Robin just nodded his head slightly at me.

"Well, in case things didn't work out this time I wrote one for all of you. Vance, Bruce, Griffin, Billy, Finney..." I said my voice cracking feeling the tears form hearing my brothers name come out of my mouth.

"My dad wrote me one before his death..." Robin said putting his arms over his knees.

"I'm not going anywhere Robin, he is though." I said talking about the Grabber.

"Yeah, yeah I know Gwen." Robin said throwing his arm around my shoulder hugging me tightly.

"Love you Robin," (in a brotherly and sisterly way cause I know some of you weird ass people 💀)

"Love ya to kid." He said as we both waited on Finney to come back outside.
