When Steve arrived at work, he didn't expect to be beaten by police forces to his own job. He got out of his beaten up car, and looked at the several cop cars. One of the cops walked up to him, and stopped him from entering the building.
"Sorry, the place is off limits. Found a body that was reported the night prior."

Steve blinked, and peered into the dark building.

"Can I... see if I know who it is?" He asked.

The cop rolled his eyes, and stepped aside, "I'd love you to figure out who it is with that ugly suit on him."

Steve showed him some identification, showing he worked for the company, and entered the business. He looked at the sleeping bots, being careful not to startle them awake. He followed the police tape, following it to the office, which had signs of a struggle, such as an overturned chair and the standard issue mask shoved into a corner. The phone was shoved off the table, broken and the vent's internal camera was shattered. Steve wasn't too sure what caused that, but it unnerved him. He exited the office, and entered the parts and service room, entering on a gruesome sight.

Crimson blood still seeped out of the black suit, pooling around the corpse. Steve reached out to touch the suit, patting the short black fur. What he wasn't expecting, however, was his hand to stick to the suit, leaving trails of black goo returning to the suit's surface. He wiped his hand on his pants, and stood up. He went around the back of the suit, looking in the neck space for anything he recognized through the gaps. He saw metal poles jabbing into the person's neck, still dripping as though it just happened. He pried open the jaw, and looked at the contorted, mangled face of the nightguard inside, almost unrecognizable. He winced at the metal jabbing through his cheeks and rest of his face, understanding the agony this must have been.

He swallowed, and left the room, unable to force the picture of that out of his mind. He slowly walked from the Parts and Service, then the hallway, than the entrance, nodded to the cop as he left, and drove home, still scarred from what had happened.
