It was approaching the end of school and I couldn't be happier. Even if I enjoyed going to school I couldn't stop myself from being happy it's almost over. Unfortunately I didn't have art today, but I was glad I had every class with Lilli.

When the bell rung Lilli, who made me pack my bag five minutes before class ended, grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the classroom not even caring if she shoved people half her size to get out of this school.

"Oh thank god, I thought we'd never get out of this school." Lilli groaned to me before proceeding to push open the doors that we both exited.

"Yah I'm glad to be going home." I smiled back at her while looking around the car park for either Emilio or Antonio.

I couldn't find them or their car so I just decided to follow Lilli since she seemed to know exactly where she was going. She lead me towards the back of the car park where I just noticed my brothers who were leaning against their car with, who I'm assuming to be, their friends.

I wanted to stop walking and just wait for their friends to leave but before I could do anything, Lilli was grabbing my arm and leading me towards them. She wasn't that much taller than me and yet she had a iron grip that I struggled to get out of but failed miserably.

The girl that I saw sitting close with Antonio at lunch was again by his side and she seemed to be the first person to notice us walking since she smiled before skipping and meeting us.

Lilli let go of my arm and hugged the girl who was wearing a grin so wide it almost scared me.

"Hey Lil's." The girl drawled out the word hey in an almost alarming way. Seeing both Lilli and this girl standing together I could see the resemblance. They both had the same pale complexion along with the black/brown hair and brown eyes, not to mention they had almost the same style. Well as much style as they can have with uniforms.

"Layla this is Ella, Ella this is my sister Layla." Lilli looked at me with an almost sympathetic look but before I could question it any longer I felt arms wrap around me followed by the scent of cinnamon. It took all of my control not to flinch from this person who I soon discovered was Layla, but I couldn't stop my body from tensing. After she pulled away I looked over at my brothers to see that they're attention along with their friends was on us. I quickly looked away while my cheeks turned a light crimson.

When we walked over to the group I went and stood by Emilio, well more like me trying to hide from the eyes of his friends from behind him. It didn't really work out since his back was to the car.

Lilli and Layla were chatting about the day while Layla went and resumed her position by Antonio who then threw his arm around her shoulders while listening to his friends talking about some sport.

He must have caught me looking because his eyes met mine, I'm pretty sure I was to tired because I just stared back at him instead of looking away. Before I could fully realize that we were having a stare off, my attention was brought to Lilli who I didn't even realize was right next to me before she was shaking my arm.

"What?" I asked when I finally looked at her.

"What's your phone number? I'll need it if we're gonna talk at all." She pulled out her phone before typing something in it and handing it to me. I completely froze as I took her phone, now came the awkward part where I tell her how I don't have a phone because the last time I did have one it got smashed into bits and pieces because I was looking at a photo of my mother and me on it.

"Oh I uh don't have a phone." I started to hand her back her phone but was stopped when Emilio turned around fast and snapped is fingers pointing at me.

"That's it, I knew I was forgetting something." He reaches into his pocket and pulled out a iPhone 11 and placed it in my hands, I think I was to shocked to comprehend what was happening before me.

"So you just happen to carry around a brand new iPhone in your pocket without realizing it all day?" I look to my left to see everyone staring as if wondering how he forgot he had the phone on him, but the voice came from Layla who was looking at him like he just told her he was in love with a leprechaun and decided to follow him to the end of the rainbow for a pot of gold.

"Well not normally but Enzo gave me the phone to give to Gabby, I just forgot." Emilio rubbed the back of his neck while I was still looking at the iPhone in my hand shocked. I wasn't expecting Enzo to get me a phone.

"Thank you!" I carefully grabbed the brand new phone from Emilio's fingers before wrapping my arms around him while reminding myself to also thank Lorenzo next time I see him.

"Perfect so whats your number?" After exchanging numbers with Lilli the twins said bye to their friends before we got into the car and started on our way home.

"Antonio I didn't know you had a girlfriend." I tried to create conversation with them but I wasn't sure how to start it.

"What, who?" Antonio furrowed his eyebrows with a look of disgust on his face, as if the idea of a relationship with someone made him wanna vomit.

"Lilli's sister? Layla?" When the words left my mouth Emilio started laughing to the point where he couldn't breathe while Antonio just clenched his jaw and glared at the road.

"Yo-you though, haha you actually thought he had a girlfriend and it was Layla? Hahah." Emilio could barely form a sentence around his giggles. I just nodded my head confused which made Emilio start laughing even harder.

"No I'm not dating her." Antonio grumbled before glaring at Emilio.

"Then why did you have your arm around her?" I should probably stop asking questions since it seems to be agitating him but I was genuinely confused.

"They're friends Gabby, you know 'friends'." Emilio winked at me while raising his eyebrows up and down. He must've seen the confusion still on my face because he widened his eyes at me.

What is he doing? Is he having a stroke? Omg should we bring him to the hospital? Just as I'm about to ask if he's ok Antonio speaks up before I could get a word out.

"We fuck Ella, we're friends with benefits. Emilio stop doing that your scaring her." I blushed bright red at my brothers choice of words before looking out the window with wide eyes. That's why Emilio was doing those faces.

The rest of the car ride home was in silence. When we got home I was the first one out of the car with my face still blushing.

When I was on my way to my bedroom I stopped when I heard voices coming from a hallway I haven't been down yet. I knew I should just go to my room but I was curious, to curious.

Don't do it Ella just go to your bedroom, curiosity killed the cat.

But satisfaction brought it back. I turned on my heels and started walking quietly down the hallway. The farther I walked the darker it got. I was in a part of the house that Luca didn't show me, it made me wonder how much of this house I don't know about. At the end of the hall I saw a se stairs, I was on the second floor so these stairs must lead to the third floor.

There is a staircase that leads up to the third floor you are not allowed up there at anytime unless your given permission.

I remember Lorenzo telling me this when he gave me his rules now that I was standing directly where the stairs started I could hear the voices more clearly, I couldn't make out who was saying them but they were angry that much I knew. I wanted to get closer to know just what they were arguing about but I didn't want to disobey one of the most important rules my brother gave me. I knew I should turn around and go to my room but there was a part of me telling me to stay.

Lorenzo said not to go to the third floor but he never said anything about the hallway, so technically I'm not breaking any rules.

I leaned against the wall while trying my hardest to block out every noise but the two voices.

"What the hell do you mean you can't find him?" Luca? "You had one simple job to do and you couldn't even do that?" Ive never heard Luca raise his voice in the time I've known him, he sounded scary. I tried to figure out what he was talking about, who was this guy that they couldn't find.

"I-I'm sorry sir really but I tried everything and I looked everywhere you must believe me." I couldn't tell who this voice belonged to but they sounded terrified. I heard a bang that made me jump, it sounded like someone punched the wall.

"Luca, take a walk." This voice I recognized right away as Matteo's, except he sounded different. He sounded terrifying.

I clenched my hands tightly until I could feel the pain it caused not even caring that I was breaking my promise to Leo.

"But Mat-" Luca protested but was interrupted by Matteo.

"Now Luca." I tensed at his voice feeling my body freeze at the coldness in my warmest brothers voice.

I heard loud footsteps coming down the stairs but it was to late for me to move before Luca appeared looking as angry as he sounded.

When he reached the bottom step is when he noticed me standing there. I'm sure I looked like a dear caught in headlights, I couldn't move I couldn't do anything but stand there staring at him with wide eyes.

Luca face immediately softened when he realized it was me and he was about to smile before he realized where we are and what I might have heard. He stole a quick glimpse at the stairs before looking at me with his brows furrowed.

"How long have you been here?" I quickly froze up trying to think. He couldn't know that I overheard their conversation.

"Oh um not long I just got here." Luca looked relived to hear that and he sent me a soft smile. Yes he believes me I'm in the clear.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me a completely harmless question but my heart was beating so fast I'm surprised it's still in my chest. I can do a lot of things but lying is not one of them, I can't lie to save my life.

"Oh you know looking for you." He nodded again as he believed me before he furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me. Oh no.

"How'd you know I was here?" Oh no think Ella think you can do this it's not that hard.

"Matty told me." Wait Matty was with him. "Uh I mean Antonio. Emilio. Both?" Luca was looking at me as if I was crazy. Oh no I'm so dead he definitely knows I'm lying now. Let's hope he can't run fast.

I started running down the hallway as fast as I could ditching my book bag on the way. I think I surprised him because he stood there staring at the place I used to be for a few seconds before taking off after me.

"Hey, wait a second. GABBY!" I turned around to see him catching up to me before turning back around and towards the corner.

Yes almost there, come on Ella.

Just as I turned the corner I ran into someone and almost fell before I caught myself.

"Gabby!" I screeched before hiding behind who I just ran into and pushing them towards Luca.

When Luca turned the corner out of breath and saw the scene in front of him he smirked. Uh oh.

I slowly looked up to see the person I ran into was Leo looking confused as well as frustrated, his shirt was also wet, why was he wet? Oh no. I looked down at his hand where he held an empty cup that I must have knocked into when I ran into him. I immediately let go of him and started backing away slowly.

"What are you doing?" I looked into Leo's cold eyes and let out a fake laugh like I was gonna explain before I tried running again. However I didn't get very far this time before I was grabbed softly by the waist and held by Leo who didn't even seem to be struggling at all to carry me while I tried wiggling my way out of his hold.

"Got you trouble." Luca smirked at me again while coming closer.

"Trouble?" I asked confused while still trying to get out of Leo's arms before giving up.

"Yes Trouble did you not just witness what you put me through?" I noticed that Luca was still out of breath which made me swallow down a laugh since we didn't even run that far.

"That's great and all but why was she running from you?" I completely forgot Leo was still here.

"She was standing by the stairs that lead to the third floor and I caught her when I came down." I gave Luca the most terrifying glare I could create. He just looked at me with amusement.

"Oh?" That own word made me terrified. Why must Leo be so terrifying without even trying.

"Well then maybe we need to talk with Lorenzo." This made me freeze again before I tried wiggling even harder to get free, he actually had to put effort into holding me.

"No!" I yelled trying to get Luca to help me but he just stood there smirking.

"Yes!" I grabbed onto the wall not even caring if I kicked Leo. This went on for a while, me trying to get free and them trying to get me to let go of the wall.

A clearing of throat made us all freeze. Looking over to our lefts I saw Clara standing there debating whether she wanted to be confused or amused.

"Ok I'm just gonna skip over the what and go with why?" From her point of view I could understand how this would look. Me holding onto the wall as if my life depended on it while Luca and Leo were trying to drag me away from it, not to mention all of us yelling at each other.

They let me down and I let go of the wall before we all started talking at once.

"She was eavesdropping and then started running away and causing trouble."

"She spilled water all over me, didn't even apologize and did something to Luca."

"They both are trying to drag me to Lorenzo for doing nothing wrong, they're both just being rude."

Clara looked at the three of us as if her head was gonna explode. "Ok enough all of you, one at a time."

"I was on the third floor for something and then someone sent me downstairs for something and I saw Gabby standing by the wall listening to that someone saying something, and then when I asked her about it she ran. Which is suspicious don't you think?" Clara looked at Luca with a look that almost made me laugh before she looked at me with an expectant expression which made my laugh sober up.

"Ok I'll admit I was doing that but I was in the hallway not once did I step foot on the stairs to the third floor, and Enzo mentioned the third floor he didn't say anything about the hallway. And yes I shouldn't have eavesdropped I was just curious but for that I'm sorry Luca." I really did feel guilty about eavesdropping but whenever my curiosity gets the best of me I don't think about the consequences before I do something stupid.

"Gabby it's ok, and technically yo are right he did never mention the hallway." Luca smirked at me to which I smiled to.

"And you Leo? Please explain to me why you were trying to drag your sister away from the wall." Clara asked while raising her eyebrows at him.

"She spilled water on me." Leo shrugged before walking away.

"Ok we'll there's that." Clara smiled at me before laughing.

"So does this mean we don't have to tell Lorenzo?" Luca and Clara smiled at me but before any of us could speak, another person that we didn't see enter the hallway spoke.

"Tell me what?" Of course the universe seems to be against me because the next person who walked around the corner was in fact, Lorenzo.

I turned around to see Enzo looking at me with an expectant look.

Oh no.

I'm sorry I haven't updated for a fewest weeks everything's been crazy and I haven't had time to write and have also had major writers block but I'm getting back at it and should update at least every week unless something comes up
