Sanghee's heart raced as she approached the meeting place. It was a small little music store she and Tae-soo often frequented on their days off. Countless hours spent crammed in a small corner together as they listened to old cds on a portable cd player or switched to a walkman. Shoulder to shoulder, their knees brushing Sanghee felt an endless fleet of butterflies in her gut. Standing in front of the small store she felt the same swarm of butterflies as she peered inside seeing Tae-soo flick through a row of vinyls.

"Ok Sanghee, you got this," Sanghee says to herself as she reaches for the door. As she tugs it open the small bell above the door jingles announcing her presence. Almost immediately does Tae-joo snap his head up, his eyes zeroing in on Sanghee. Shyly he raises his hand to save at her as she smiles. Sanghee finds herself doing the same as she steps forward until they're in front of each other.

"Hi," Tae-soo says breathlessly. It had been a few weeks since he saw Sanghee and now that she's here he can feel his anxiety raise for the day's events.

"H-hi," Sanghee says back. "So, why did you call me here?" Sanghee questions as she raises on her toes.

"Oh! A new shipment came in. Wanna listen together?" Taesoo questions as he holds out an earbud. Sanghee nods and soon they're sitting together in their corner with a stack of CDs nearby as they listen to the new shipment of music.

"I want to be able to do this. I wanna produce my own music one day," Sanghee says suddenly. There was something about listening to all the artists that inspired her. She isn't too good at mixing now but she wants to improve and learn, she wants to be able to work on a project from start to finish, to call it her own.

"You'll get there. I believe in you."

"Will you help me?" Sanghee questions. Tae-soo was practically a protege when it came to music. While Sanghee had classical training in piano she felt as if it got her nowhere when it came to mixing. Tae-soo could make a song in a matter of hours if he wanted to, although he ran into roadblocks when his perfectionism came in the way. In a way Sanghee admired him for it, wanting to only show his best work, to create music he's absolutely proud of.

Tae-Soo gently holds Sanghee's hands in his thumbs running over her knuckles. "Of course Sanghee. I'll be there for you every step of the way I promise. You're going to do great things and I'm already so proud of you," each word is spoken with the utmost sincerity that it has Sanghee blushing all the way down to her neck.

"You are?"

"Nana of course I am! You went through audition after auditino before landing at Cube, you're about to debut and you keep dreaming, you still want to learn and get better. Babe you're amazing! Of course I'm proud of you already. I just know you'll change the world!"

Sanghee is practically swooning at his words but it was hard to pay attention to his entire proclamation due to one word. "D-did you just call me babe?" she questions leaning onto his shoulder. Tae-soo blushes as he too realizes what he called her. He hadn't meant to, it was too early. He had an entire plan but his heart spoke over his brain skipping over several steps.

"I-uh no. Shut up," he says, pushing her off his shoulder but Sanghee clings onto him.

"Ah Tae-soo!"

"I'm older than you," Tae-soo half-heartedly scolds, unable to truly be upset with her. Sanghee was just so cute when she was excited.

"Oppa!" She whines blinking up at him. Tae-soo playfully rolls his eyes before pushing her away.

"Come on Sanghee, I want to go somewhere" he says as he holds his hand out. Sanghee takes it almost immediately, letting him pull her up. Once she's on her feet Taesoo doesn't let go of her hand. Instead he uses it as leverage to lead her out of the music store and out into the world.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a secret." Tae-Soo says shooting a wink Sanghee's way making her giggle.

"Can I guess? Will you give me a hint?"

"I dunno. Ask and find out," Tae-Soo teases. They walk together swinging their hands between them as they head to their destination.

"Oh, Eunjoo! What are you doing here?" Sanghee questions seeing her best friend along with another boy she vaguely recognizes. Eunjoo looks a bit panicked as she drops something onto the blanket layed out under a tree decorated with fairy lights.

"Ah...I'm not Eunjoo! I'm just a ghost that looks like Eunjoo!" the girl says waving her hands as if she were a cartoon ghost. Tae-soo lets go of Sanghee's hand as he marches over to his sister. He grabs Eunjoo by the forearm, dragging her far enough away to fuss at her. Sanghee bites her lip as she watches the siblings' interaction before Eunjoo throws her arms up in frustration while Tae-soo pinches his nose. He says something, his tone obviously soft and reassuring before he reaches for Eunjoo pulling her in for a hug. Once they part, Eunjoo leans up, giving her brother a kiss on the cheek. She waves to Sanghee before dashing away with the other boy, the two of them giggling as they depart.

"What was that about?" Sanghee asks once Tae-Soo returns.

"Nothin. Come on!" He gently holds Sanghee's wrist before pulling her over to the blanket.

"What's this? Eunjoo dropped it. Does she need it?" Sanghee questions as she picks up the portable CD player. Eunjoo had one of her own as well. It was something the three of them had bonded over years ago when they met.

"No she d-doesn't. I-t's for you." Tae-soo can't help but stutter. His heart was hammering like crazy in his chest that it made it difficult for him to hear his own voice. It had to be perfect, every moment, every step.

"For me? I don't need a new one though," Sanghee says, completely oblivious to Tae-Soo's behavior. Why was he being weird suddenly? Was everything alright with him? Did it have something to do with him arguing with Eunoo? They did hug though but maybe not.

"N-no Sanghee, uh. There's a cd in t-there. I w-want you to listen t-to it." Tae-soo says. He helps Sanghee place the earbuds into her ears before pressing play. A cute synthesizer melody rings in Sanghee's ears before it's joined by the guitar and other instrumental sounds in the background. It was the beginning of a beautiful song but what made it better was Tae-soo's vocals.

♬ My footsteps are matching yours again
I keep keep keep getting used to this
I like walking on your right side
It feels so natural
I keep thinking about you

Every time we talk
Without even knowing
A smile keeps coming on my face
It's not just once or twice
I wonder if you feel the same
What are we?♬

Sanghee feels her heart leap in her chest as she listens to the song. It was for her, Taesoo wrote a song just for her.

♬ These days, you keep keep keep
Coming into my eyes, you look prettier than before
These days, I keep keep keep
Thinking about you, making me wait for your call ♬

As the song comes to an end Sanghee throws herself at Tae-soo tucking her face into his neck. A seemingly endless stream of tears flows down her cheeks as she cries overwhelmed but oh so happy.

"Tae," she says, her bottom lip wobbling.

Tae-soo feels his heart race in his chest. Why is she crying, she shouldn't be crying, right ? "Are these good tears?" he asks worriedly.

"Uh-huh," Sanghee says with a laugh. "Do you mean it?" she asks with a blush spreading across her face. She could only imagine how she looks now.

Tae-soo smiles at the beautiful girl in front of him before tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. "I like you so much Sanghee. I know it'll be hard with you debuting but will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes. I will be your girlfriend, yes!" Sanghee tackles him in another hug. Tae-soo smiles at her before leaning in slowly to press a small kiss to her cheek.

"I'm so happy," he whispers, his nose bumping against hers. Sanghee smiles as she ducks her head down to hide against his neck again.

"Me too. Let's stay together for a long time!"

"It's a deal. I'll make you the happiest girl alive."

"I'll hold you to that," Sanghee says, turning to press a kiss to her boyfriend's cheek. She could not believe it, Tae-soo asked her out and now she has her first boyfriend! Her first boyfriend! Oh my gosh, she has to call her sister!
