T w e n t y - N i n e

Two weeks later//LA.

"Oh my god walk faster Denis!" I breathed, power walking towards my apartment where my mother was with Matty.

"I'm trying- I'm not that fit!" He groaned, stumbling after me.

I was way too excited, finally home for good. All I can say is that I'm never leaving without Matty ever again.

"You have longer legs than me! Try!" I giggled, scanning my card along the buzzer. The doors glided open and we walked towards the elevator.

"Now that we're in an elevator, can you chill?" He chuckled, resting his head on mine.

"Nuh uh- Mattys right in this building!"

"You're cute."

"Shush." I blushed, kissing his cheek before the elevator doors opened.

Denis continued to laugh at me whilst I practically ran towards my door. Finally, no words can ever explain my love for this little boy.

He was and still is my everything. I can't believe I allowed some cocaine ridden manager to separate us for so long.

The door swung open, Matty running for me instantly.

"Mamama!" He cooed as I picked him up and hugged him ever so tightly.

I couldn't even speak. I just cuddled him close.

"Mommy's Home for good now baby." I smiled, sniffling slightly.

"Hello to you too dear- ah! Well if it isn't Denis Shaforostov!" My mom grinned.

"Hey mom." I chuckled, resting Matty on my hip, his head rested on my shoulder as he blabbered nonsense. "Also yeah, Denis is back."

"Dada!" Matty giggled, reaching for Denis.

I handed him over, attempting to hide the glimmering ring that occupied my finger.

"Matty's been talking about you two coming home all day, he's missed you Lana." She smiled.

"Words can't describe how much I missed him mom." I sighed, looking at Denis and Matty who were hugging.

"I would say so- oh my god." My mom gasped.

"What?"

"Is that a ring!" She squealed, "Oh my-"

My eyes widened as I looked down at the ring.

"Uh yeah- I know you're probably gonna flip but-"

"Lana no! This is amazing! Jesus! Woah Denis nice job- it's so beautiful, my god my daughters getting married." My mom gasped, tearing up.

"Mom!" I giggled, feeling myself tear up also.

"Sorry for doing it without asking." Denis chuckled, "but I just had to. She's the one for me."

"Don't worry about it silly." My mom tutted, "I couldn't imagine my daughter marrying anyone else- I mean you two have been insuperable since such a young age!"

The rest of the day consisted of my mother and Denis conversing whilst I spent time with Matty.

For once, it was good to be in LA.

It was good to be with Denis.

"Shh! You're gonna wake matty up Denis!" I giggled.

"Mhm." He smirked, continuing to kiss my neck.

"If you don't stop now I swear to god." I gasped, grinding against him.

"I don't think I'm gonna stop." He chuckled quietly, his voice deep and raspy from tiredness.

Denis grabbed my thigh, pushing it aside before grabbing my ass. I ran my hands down his back before flipping us over and straddling him.

I was just about to take off his pants, that was until Matty began to sob from the other room.

I groaned, "shit."

Denis tutted, throwing his head back in disappointment.

"Welcome to being a parent." I sighed, pecking his lips before going into Matty.

"Mommy!" He cried.

I picked him up, cradling him. "What's wrong baby?"

"Your bed!" He sobbed.

"You wanna sleep in with mommy and daddy?" I asked.

He nodded quickly, sniffling every few seconds.

I brought him into my room, Denis seen him and smiled.

"What's wrong buddy?" He pouted.

"Matty can't sleep so he wants to sleep in with us, right baby?" I said, looking at Mattys tired face.

Matty nodded, rubbing his tired eyes.

"Cmon then." Denis cooed, taking him from my arms and laying him gently in the middle of the bed.

-----

The next morning, I awoke to the aroma of coffee and the sound of an acoustic guitar being strum gently.

I yawned, panicking slightly when I noticed Matty wasn't beside me. Of course the panic washed away when I heard him attempting to sing along with Denis, mostly blabbering though he sounded adorable.

I crawled out of the cosy bed before going to the bathroom. For once I didn't look drained, nor sad. I looked alright. I looked normal.

I couldn't help but be conceited and adore the ring glimmering with the reflection of the bathroom light.

God what a lucky girl I am.

I then made my way towards the living room, quietly observing Denis strum some chords whilst matty sat in front of him looking confused.

I giggled, "Good Morning."

They both looked up at me, Denis smiling back.

"Mommy!" Matty squealed, clapping his hands. Matty then pointed towards Denis, "Dada sing!"

"You like your dada's singing?" I grinned, walking towards the pair and sitting beside Denis on the sofa.

Matty nodded. "Again!"

"Yeah, show me what you were singing Den." I smiled.

"It's nothing special." He blushed, "just a song I've been working on I don't know.."

"Cmon." I pouted, "please?"

"Again dada!" Matty begged, pouting like myself. God, he looked just like Den.

Denis sighed before he began strumming the familiar chords.

I couldn't help but tear up slightly, this song was beautiful.

"You may not know it, but you're too good for me.." He sang softly, his perfect harmonies echoing throughout the large room.

"But fuck I don't care anymore, I've gotta make you mine."

"It might be soon. But I don't care about the time.."

Denis eventually finished the song. It was so beautiful, it had somewhat of an alternative vibe to it.

I was in love with it.

I was so in love with Denis.
