Author: My beloved readers. This chapter is different than the chapters I've written before. I want you to pay attention when you read because there are 3 different views/speakers/whatever-its-called. For each of this view, I've made a change in text, to make it easier for you to know the difference. One is right-adjusted, the other is left-adjusted and the third has a bold font. It might confuse you at first, but by the end of the chapter you will find out who the speakers of the texts are or what they mean.

"And now we have a very important message from someone, who will neither show their face nor tell their name. This person has something important to share with everyone who is watching this live show now..." The reporter spoke and stepped aside.

"This is an important broadcast to all Japanese citizen..." A person with a mask and a distorted voice spoke on TV. It was hard to tell if it was male or a female, who spoke now. "I have an important message from the known Kira, who as a return for me doing him this favor, will protect me. Now you all are confused... Who do I need to be protected from, if not from Kira?..."

"The suspect may see the broadcast on TV and get confused, or rather curious..."

"What the heck is this about now???" The man clearly did not like what he was seeing, but he didn't bother too much, as long as his powers were still with him.

"Kira risked his life for one purpose: To make this world a better place for everyone, even the poor and weak people, who often get victimized by the richer and stronger people. Kira wants to create the perfect world, that is free of crime and unfairness for everyone. Therefore he distributed his powers to people who could help him with this job."

"If he doesn't, then Misa will watch the broadcast and wait until it was time for her to take action..."

"And my message from him is exactly about this.... What I want to inform you all is, that the Kira in charge right now is not the real Kira..."

"Now..."

"What?? I'm supposed to be a fake?" The rich man let out a laugh as his phone rang.

"The call will be from Misa Amane."

"The person in charge of killing criminals right now is taking an advantage of his power... Thanks to Kira, I do know who the person is and I intend to hand the name over to the police as soon as this broadcast is over..."

"I am watching it right now...." The man replied.

"He will feel worried and will want to stop the broadcast."

"So it's not you who ordered this person to broadcast this message?" Misa sounded surprised. "No. This is a fake, don't worry! I am the true Kira and someone is messing with the world right now." Again he let out a laugh to hide his true feelings of worry and fear, as he kept watching the broadcast.

"Since he started using the power for his own advantage, he became a threat to the Japanese population, especially the business management... Yes, you heard me correctly. The business management." The mysterious person took a few steps towards the camera. "I do know who you are and where you are Kira number 3... I do know of your dirty deeds that made you a criminal who deserves to die... I do know who you killed on every weekend..."

"This will be the trigger. The man will sit there with his eyes wide open and his head breaking from the attempt to find out who the person was, that knew of his secrets and might have told the police about him. Who holds a grudge against him...? He will ask himself"

Just as predicted, there the man sat with his eyes wide open, asking himself panically, who this person on TV was and who told him or her about all that...

"...I do know that you are in contact with Kira 2 and together, you two are a bigger threat to the world. Such a thing does worry the real Kira, as he DOES NOT intend to target normal citizen. Only HIGH profile criminals with HEAVY crimes committed in their lives..." The mysterious person made clear.

"MISA DID YOU SAY A WORD ABOUT MY SECRET TO ANYONE ELSE???" The man was now in a panic.

This broadcast was real...

This person knew the truth....

"Why would I????" Misa yelled back. "You know I would never do that. Did you forget that I was Kira number 2???" She explained and showed panic in her voice.

"My dear citizen... If you have lost any family members through a heart attack, who were working in a company that was competitive to Yotsuba group, then I have to tell you, the real Kira did not kill them! It was Kira number 3... Who soon will be punished by law for his deeds. And I promise, If he won't get his right punishment, then Kira got your back and will make sure he deserves what he did to your family!"

"Slowly, but steady, the fake broadcast will drive him more and more into panic and mess up with his mind. Meanwhile, Miss Amane will make full use of her talents and play around with Higuchi's mind as they both continue to watch the broadcast."

"Don't be stupid, Higuchi!!!" Misa yelled.

"Higuchi will probably think about driving to the TV-station to kill the speaker of the broadcast before his name would go to the police or public. He would probably kill everyone there to make sure no one saw his face. With the power of him being able to kill without needing the name of a person, this seems like the perfect plan for him. I will make sure to have a second plan set, in case Higuchi does come to the station without listening to Misa."

"Kira is there... And it will be highly protected by both, Kira and the police. You will not survive if you go there..." Misa tried to convince the man who had a crush on her. "What else shall I do instead??? Wait for my identity to be shared with the world? That way I cannot hide or escape anymore..." Higuchi yelled. His voice was full of panic and worry.

"I do have a better idea..." Misa said. "I'm a superstar. I do have my own staff and own privacy. Uhhh... I can arrange an escape for both of us... Let's travel to America now!!! Buy an island and live there together in peace. "Misa said in excitement. "That's what you want, right? And... and we will kill everyone who tries to disturb our peace there because we can! No one will look for us because they don't know us. Higuchi! Let's run away together! I will call to set my private jet ready." She explained to him and waited for a positive answer from the rich and desperate man.

"No..." He coldly replied. "I do have to go to the TV-station first..." He explained. "NO... don't!" Misa protested. "I will do that, okay?? I'm a famous star, no one will suspect anything if I go there. Not even the mysterious person or Kira if he is there. But they know you... I will go and make sure your name stays hidden to the world. In the meantime, make your way to the place that I'll tell you about in a bit and wait there for me. Follow the broadcast on your radio." Misa explained and hang up.

"I do trust Misa to make this plan work. But in case she isn't good enough, we will track down Higuchi's car and see what he is up to. Will he go to the station, we will make Plan-B work and catch him... Will he follow Misa's idea, we will catch him with Plan-A."

"Police officers, as well as Kira, granted for my safety and protection, so, not even you, who has the eyes can kill me..." The mysterious person explained. "You did a great job in keeping killing high profile criminals, but unfortunately, you became one of them, when you decided to raise the income and success of your company by killing members of other companies... I am not sure what will happen to the other 7 members of your company, who were attending the Friday meetings as well... They will probably not go unpunished... but will their punishment be as bad as yours? I let Kira decide for this."

"You all will die... I know that one of you suspected me and cooperated with the police to get me after I killed Hatori..." Higuchi thought full of anger as he wrote the names of the 6 remaining members into his mysterious notebook in hope that the mysterious person from the broadcast would collapse soon, but that didn't happen. "So none of you stood in front of the camera for the broadcast..." He noticed but was still sure that one of the members of his company played a part in giving secret information to the police.

"Now you...." He finally said as he grabbed his book and left to go to his car.

"Kira3... I do have proof of what I know and about you being Kira. Don't think you can escape because this is impos-" The mysterious person's hand reflexively grabbed the middle of their chest.

All strength was gone and the person could not let any word out of their mouth...

Every muscle was tense...

Both legs started to shake unable to carry the weight of the body that became heavier and heavier with every second...

Then a painful groan followed...

A laugh full of gloat escaped his mouth as the painful groan appeared on the radio of his car...

And quite the surprised reaction on the other side of the Pacific ocean... "Not bad.... Not bad at all...!" The leader of the SPK thought as he followed the fake broadcast on TV, that was played by you as the mysterious person and Misa as the fake Kira2 who succeeded in killing you in the TV-station.

Your hand let go of your shirt and your body hit the ground hard.

Screams appeared in the room. "NOOOOO!!!" A male voice sounded. "THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!!!" Another female voice sounded. "CALL THE AMBULA-" Another female voice was cut off. A groan followed... another... and another... then silence followed.

"She can't be it. I knew I could trust her!" The rich man thought gladly as he heard the words: "This is over. You cannot control us, Kira." That were probably spoken by Misa Amane in a distorted voice. "She did it! My future wife will always be on my side." The man gladly thought as he drove to the planned place.

"Well done, Japanese Task Force..." N thought as he turned to the satellite screen that was following Higuchi's car. Yes, N was also playing a small part in this plan. All he had to do was to follow Higuchi with his satellite and inform Light about the route that Higuchi was taking. In case Higuchi was driving to the location of the private jet, he informed Light, who had the lead of plan-A. And in case Higuchi was driving to the TV Station, he informed Soichiro Yagami, who had the lead over plan-B.

Light had the perfect idea of letting Misa get close to the company by offering to be a model for their adverts. She threw a party with the seven members of Yotsuba Group and was supposed to try and get close to Kyosuke Higuchi, the main suspect, in order to check if he was truly Kira or not. Somehow, she managed to get a confession from him, that she also recorded on her phone. In this confession, Higuchi said that he was Kira and he did prove it to Misa, who claimed to be Kira2 to him. How he believed her without wanting proof from her remained a mystery to you, but that wasn't important.

Misa also did a good job in letting Higuchi fall in love with her and believe that she trusted him. That way you guys were able to play a show on Higuchi who, aside from all members of the JTF and SPK and the other Yotsuba Group members, was the only one who saw this broadcast. You also informed the rest of the Task Force members about what you came up in the middle of the night. You informed them about your idea of using the information you had in a kind of message that Higuchi would watch. It should contain text, that should make Higuchi panic to a point where Misa could control the way of his thinking and lead him to our trap that would seem like the perfect escape to Higuchi. You created a plan together with the rest and went over every detail with Light. The only risk, that remained, was Misa to be killed by Higuchi in case he gets any suspicious.

"The jet will have 2 pilots, Light and Mogi, in addition to 2 trained agents from the SPK. I don't like the idea of you being in there Light. Another skilled agent might be able to do more for Misa's safety than you, Light... The actual capture will take place in the air on the jet, where Higuchi will have no escape. Everyone on the jet will have the chance of dying, so the plan needs to go smoothly with no space for any mistakes..."

Four people were there to make sure that Higuchi was put out of his powers and could harm no one. "Higuchi is coming closer... It's Plan-A." N informed Light, who was sitting in the jet with his heart pounding. 'This is our only chance... Nothing can go wrong...' He thought and went on his position. While Higuchi arrived with his car and waited for Misa to show up as well, you, Matsuda and the other two actors from the studio made yourself ready to follow the jet with a helicopter, once the capture started. You insisted on being there for one purpose...

The death note

And so you were on the helicopter receiving orders from Light or N about the situation in case you needed to take any actions. The two females with you were trained agents as well. Beside these two aircraft, Japanese police forces were ready for further help in case something went wrong. The jet itself was manipulated so the control could be taken over from outside the plane. This was important in case anything went wrong or unexpected and Higuchi tried to escape with the jet. N thought that this was unlikely to happen, but you never knew how powerful Kira3 was. So being careful was your priority!

"Do you think it's necessary for us to flee now after you killed half of the station to keep my name safe?" Higuchi questioned, not wanting to leave his company and source of wealth behind. "Do you not think that the police will suspect you of being Kira after they find out that everyone who was important for the company died, except for you? Why did you have to kill them anyway?" Misa reminded the confused Higuchi. "Yeah, you are right..." He admitted and both went inside the jet. The staff helped Misa get inside and carried her small suitcase into the jet, that took off after only a short while.

"Once we arrive, I'll kill your staff and pilots." Higuchi started out of nowhere and surprised Misa. "What?" She brought out. "We can't have any witnesses, who know about us." Higuchi explained. "Yeah, right." Misa let out a laugh. There was a silent moment between the two. Then Higuchi started again: "Hmm, on second thoughts I think I should kill your staff now and wait for the pilots to bring us to our destination before I get rid of them." He whispered to Misa, who widened her eyes at Higuchi's fatal thoughts. "No, you can't do that.." She protested in a whispering tone. "But what if the police start searching for me and somehow the staff finds out about me and calls the police in fear because they are on a jet with Kira?" Higuchi explained his doubts. A flight from Japan to America was long. Who knew what would happen in the meantime. "They won't Higuchi... Just be patient and stay calm." Misa said. "Why does it matter to you, if I'm going to kill them anyway? Now or once we arrive, they will die either way..." Higuchi questioned and Misa didn't know what she should reply. She had to keep him from killing the secret agents, or maybe give a sign to them that they are in danger. But most importantly, she had to be careful in order not to make Higuchi suspect her of anything. She had no death note and couldn't do anything like killing him before he does anything stupid. She had ulterior thoughts but had no idea what she should do. Doing anything against the plan might put her in danger, but Higuchi is a danger himself too....

He took out his black notebook and opened it. "What here? And now? Higuchi, I told you not to!" Misa yelled at him trying to stay calm, which didn't work. Higuchi just looked at her and returned looking at the empty page of the book. He took out a pen and started writing, but Misa, who was sitting in front of him on the table pulled the book away. "Higuchi stop-" She ordered, but stopped when she saw what Higuchi wrote on the page.

She couldn't believe it and with her widened eyes she stared at Higuchi in disbelief. He, on the other hand, was sitting calmly in his place. "I didn't plan to kill you, Misa Amane. I'm just making sure that I'm safe in case something unexpected happens. As you know I'm a successful businessman, who cheats on people, not the opposite. There is something weird about your behavior, Misa..." Higuchi explained and smirked because he knew that he was more powerful.

"YOU BASTARD!!!" She yelled in anger and some of the staff came close to the two. "I put myself in danger to save you and all you do is suspect me of working with the police???" Misa couldn't believe it. "What?" Higuchi replied in a questioning tone. "I never said, that I suspected you of anything. I only said that I wanted to make sure that I was okay in case anything goes wrong. I'm Kira, the true Kira!" He explained. "So tell me, did you tell the police anything about me? Are you putting a show on me and help them behind my back?" Higuchi got angry, but Misa denied it. "No, I didn't. If I did, do you think I'd come anywhere near you and put myself in danger?" She questioned to convince him. "Getting close to me is the safest way for you, Misa Amane. You know that I can kill you from distance as well." He argued and stood up. "What...?" Misa didn't know what Higuchi was planning to do.

With no warning, he jumped on her and tore off the book from her hand. Misa let out a shriek when the strong man threw her to ground and turned his back to her. "NOWWWWW!" She yelled and gave the sign for everyone to start. Higuchi, who was continuing to wrote the last name of Misa was suddenly kicked back by the female staff. The pilot door was torn open and Mogi and Light jumped out from the cabin. Mogi threw himself on Higuchi and held his hands on the ground.

"I KNEW IT!!!" He yelled.

"YOU BETRAYED ME YOU DAMN BITCH" He yelled as he was put on his stomach and his hands were cuffed behind his back. One of the female agents was cuffing his feet, while the other gave him an injection.

"In an unconscious state, Kira will not be able to kill. We don't know how he kills or what he needs for his mysterious powers. That's why the savest way for us is to take him out of his conscious state and put him behind bars before we can question him about how he kills and about Kira2..."

In a panic, Misa jumped to the book and saw the written letters of her full name. She knew that it was the end for her unless.... she added another letter to her name.

Misa Amaneti

"Hey, are you alright? Uh, what is this book-" Light, who went to check on Misa, questioned and took the mysterious black book in his hands.

For him, it felt like he was hit by a lightning.

Then he looked up at the laughing red-eyed monster that appeared in front of him and a dark smile appeared on his lips. He turned to Misa.

"If a person's name was written wrongly, then the person will not die... Good job, Misa." He said in a low voice and turned to the rest.

"Is everyone okay?" He faked his worry. "We are all alive and Higuchi is unconscious. We succeeded." The female agent informed him and Light got up. "I will inform N about this!" He said and headed back to the pilot cabin.

"If everything goes as planned, Light or Mogi, one of you will inform me about the success of the mission and the jet will land..."

"That's how it will be if everything goes according to plan..."

"I'm L and I'm never wrong..."

-That was what he would have said if he was still alive leading this mission...

The mission of catching Kira was over with no losses thanks to your and Light's plan detailed planning.

You all landed safely and the book was taken to the headquarters for closer looks and analysis.

Unfortunately, Higuchi never woke up from the injection and according to medical examinations of his dead body, the doctor said, that Higuchi died of a heart attack.

Then I realize, that I am trapped between two worlds. The skies and an unknown realm. Dark, dull, with nothing special. The gates of this world open and a voice starts to speak to me. Unknown of who the voice belongs to, I listen to what it tells me. The voice calls me by my real name and tells me that I got myself into a rare situation, that doesn't occur often.
