Personality: Riku is actually pretty relaxed for a minor fire god. It doesn't take that much to trigger him, but it's not easy either. He's pretty patient, and will correct people as politely as he can depending on the person, subject, and how he already is emotionally. However, when under stress it's a lot easier to tick him off.
Backstory: Riku was born an only child to a couple in the Hidden Kingdom, Okkashibetsu. He lived a pretty decent life and he got along with most of the people in the area. However, he and his parents went on a vacation to a nearby village when he was 14. The village turned out to be a lot sketchier than it first appeared, and in the middle of the night he witnessed his parents murder when he got up to use the bathroom. Instead of running out of the house, he had instead grabbed a knife from the kitchen nearby, and he somehow managed to kill the intruders. He then just fled the village entirely, having to leave the corpses behind so he wouldn't end up dead. About 3 years later, he was visited by the fire goddess herself, who decided she had liked how he acted under pressure, and she granted him the minor god status, although he isn't very fond of how he came to he this way.

Other: After being turned into a minor god he took the remains of his parents and buried them, although they were pretty much skeletons at this point.
