We just looked at each other in utter silence, I couldn't read what he was thinking was he happy or sad. I thought I would be more stressed out but I've always wanted a baby and I felt weirdly excited. Now I just need to ask Ryland how he felt, but before I could he got up and walked out, I know this will be hard but he could of said something. I'll just give him time to think but I need to tell someone so I texted Madison.

I meant at least I had her support but I was a bit worried about where he had gone.

4 Hours Later

Where is he, he isn't answering any calls of texts I just don't get it, is gunna leave me. Then there was a know at the door , I opened it to Ryland before I could question where he has been he said

"hi, I'm sorry I left but please come with me" said the sheepish looking boy

"where?" I replied have still angry half excited

"on a date silly"

"a date?"
He grabbed my arm to take me but I asked "wait dont I need to get ready" "no you look great anyways" i was just in sweatpants and crop top but the boy sure know who to flatter someone.

We got in the Uber which confused me because he has a car but nevermind, we didn't really talk on the way there because of it being and Uber but what I assume is us getting close to wherever the hell we are going he put a blindfold on my and was talking me to our mystery date. We stopped walking and he took of my blindfold I was shocked he went through all of this for me, I didn't know what to say but he came and brought me to the back of the car, to sit down.

Then Ryland started to talk, "look I know that I fucked up by just leaving earlier, it's just when I brought the test it almost didn't feel real so I wasn't stressed but when found out that we were having a baby, all these thoughts rushed through my head, like how I wouldn't be a good dad, or that I didn't deserve you. And I proved that true by leaving you when it was obviously a lot on you too. So I wanted to bring you here to say a few things." He took a deep breath and I wanted to say something about it all but I thought it would be best to let him finish first. So the nervous looking boy exclaimed, "Let me begin this by simply saying that to me, you are a superhero. A strong, powerful person for whom my love grows for every single day. Every day I am amazed by you.
I can't wait to spend days with you picking out clothes, finding out the gender, getting a nursery ready and doing all our first together . The way you protectively cradled your belly in the car ride here even though you aren't showing, the way you didn't shout at me when I left just gave me time. Suddenly, it all just seems to me as though this was always the way it was supposed to be, so what I'm I love you so much Dee and I will be with you through it all which is why I want to give you this,"

"A promise ring, oh my god Ryland I love it so much this means the world to me"I barely got out

"You like it?"

"Yes"

We just stared into each other's eyes waiting for someone to say something, then he pulled me in for a hug and I whispered into his ear " I love you so much too"

We just chatted and hung out for the rest of the night what a end to a weird day.
