My eyes shot open as I looked over to the three boys snoozing in their chairs.My lips plastered a smile as I saw Karkat laying his head on Gamzees head and I thought it was a bit cute.A chuckle escaped my lips as I held my mouth trying not to stir the 3. Man I need to be quiet I don't need them worrying about me.Laying back on the stretcher I looked up at the ceiling thinking of that pain that inflicted my back.My teeth clenched and my back was on fire,the pain was intense as if someone had stabbed me straight in the back.A tear fell down my cheek embracing the pain..Karkat whimpered as I as well let out a whimper. I looked down then back at the 3 boys.I had to see how big the gash was...my legs moved slowly to the edge of the bed.I closed my eyes for a second clenching my teeth at the pain.Gog...this hurt...My body told me to stay and wait for someone,but I couldn't I wanted to see myself.Lifting up my body from the stretcher I moved towards a curtain to undress.I quickly moved as quietly as I can attempting to keep shut ,but a whimper came out every now and then.My breath quickened as I reached the curtain shutting it making sure no one was to disturb me.The mirror in front of me showed my full figure...I was tiny...small...black hair...green eyes.My hands went behind me pulling the strings in the back of my scrubs.(dunno what there called..)As I unlaced myself I looked at the gauze that where covered in blood.My eyes widen as well as my mouth now...I started unraveling the gauze slowly making sure I didn't take out any stitching.Finally the gauze came off and...my gash was widen...and deep...having about 5-6 stitches at the least.That's why Karkat felt so bad...he hurt me.Tears escaped my eyes as Gamzee was standing behind me seeing the gash. His eyes quivered...

"He told..me it was a small cut..."

Karkat...lied?I quickly laced myself up looking at Gamzee.My body told me to run and hug him but he would have pushed me off for certain.His hands crumpled up soon storming out to the sleeping Karkat.Gamzee grabbed Karkats collar pushing him up against the wall in anger.His grip on his collar was tight as Karkats eyes where quivering in fear.I ran to the two not minding my pain at all,all that mattered was to stop Gamzee from hurting Karkat.I shook Gamzees arm attempting to release Karkat.My face was red and puffy from tears that where already leaking from my face.

"Gamzee...please...he didn't mea-"

"YOU LIED!YOU TOLD ME YOU DIDN'T HURT HER THAT MUCH!"

Gamzees eyes where tearing now and I saw anger and betrayal in his eyes.Sollux placed a hand on Gamzees shoulder.I couldn't read Solluxs expression but he seemed a bit scared as well.Gamzee dropped Karkat storming out of my room as Karkat fell with a thud.Karkat looked at me in shame...his eyes didn't meet mine at all.I reached out to him but all he did was smack my hand away.

"K-Kar...I'm fine..."

Karkat got up leaving the room as well...it was now only me and Sollux.Sollux looked at me with wide eyes now.

"ALEX YOU'RE BLEEDING!"

The room started to get dizzy...blood was pouring out of my wound because I had stretched it while running.My back fell against the cold floor making me black out now.The only thing I could hear was Sollux calling for a nurse or Gamzee and Karkat to come back to help me.I couldn't open my eyes I was to weak now.My breathing increased as well as my blood loss and..my happiness.
