Chapter 1

A/n: I don't own anything Hiro Mashima does, but I do own this story line (sorry if I spelled/spell anything wrong.)

Lucy's pov
Hi, I'm Lucy Heartfilia! Today I'm starting a new school, called Fairy Tail High. I had to move from Sabertooth because my dad found me... It's a long story.

Anyway, I should get going before I'm late.

I walked into the school amazed. It was huge. Definitely bigger then Sabertooth.

Someone bumped into me and just walked away. I fell to the ground, then I got up and left.

I walked into the class hoping the teacher wouldn't call on me to introduce myself. Unlucky Lucy here got called on.

"Quite down class! Today we have a new student. Can you come up please?" Gildarts, my teacher, asked.

I nodded and walked up.

"Would you mind introducing yourself?"

I walked up to the chalkboard and wrote 'my name is Lucy Heartfilia, and I hope we can all be friends.'

Everybody just looked at me as if I was crazy, and I just sat down.

After my classes I walked to the cafeteria. I sat down alone and ate my lunch. A lot of people looked at me and just walked away.

I know it was a little weird that I don't talk but there is a story behind it.

When I was little my mom passed away. My dad started ignoring me, and when he wasn't ignoring me he was being mean. But that wasn't bad, I could handle it. Then one day he came home drunk and starting hitting me, and beating me up. After that day he would always abuse me. I stopped making any sounds so he wouldn't have the pleasure in hearing me hurt. So, after saying goodbye to miss. Spetto I left. He found me once after I left and that's why I went to Fairy Tail High.

Anyways, that's in the past. Right now I'm focused in the future.

The bell rang signalling that it was time for my next class.

After school I was walking home when I saw my father. It was a good thing he was turned, his back facing towards me. I quickly ran the other direction, making sure he didn't see me.

I entered my house and sighed. That was a close one.
