3rd Person POV:

They walked through the door and saw a bunch of people. The people began to either glare or stare at them.

They met up with the other Konoha ninja and they talked for a bit.

Kiba and Naruto both mock each other and argue, causing you to deadpan and become uninterested in their conversation.

You suddenly felt someone staring at you the whole time, which was very off-putting and uncomfortable.

You eventually turned around, only to see a person with grey hair and circular glasses.

Y/n hesitantly ignored it with narrowed eyes, and began to face towards Kiba, who was rambling, and acted as if they were listening.

All of a sudden, the person with grey hair and round glasses from before that had previously been staring at Y/n, came over to the ninja's of Konoha.

"You guys should be quiet, you are attracting a lot of people's attention...." The male bluntly stated to the young teens.

They all look around the room, to see most people staring at them.

This makes Y/n slightly irk, "What are you looking at?!" They tilted their head in an intimidating manner towards the people staring.

Instantly, the staring stopped; only a certain red haired ninja from Suna was now still staring.

"Yeah....so who are you exactly?" Ino scoffed at Kabuto.

"Oh, my apologies, my name is Kabuto...This is my 7th time doing the chunin exams!" Kabuto exclaimed, adjusting his glasses slightly.

"Eh?...So that means you're some kinda veteran, right?" Sakura grinned, not understanding that he lost seven times.

"I suppose so..." Kabuto says, laughing awkwardly and shyly.

"EH?! So you can give us some inside information!" Ino spoke in an impressed tone, excited to get some inside info.

Shikamaru and Y/n both glanced at each other with a deadpan.

"That just means the chunin exams are a drag...." Shikamaru says, groaning.

Y/n narrowed their eyes, "Either that, or Kabuto is just really shitty at being a ninja..." Y/n bluntly declared.

Shikamaru nodded in agreement, "True.."

At that, Ino smacked the two in the back of the head with a tick mark, "Shut it, you two!!"

The duo both complain in unison, "Hey! What was that for?!"

"Don't hit Y/n, you pig!!" Sakura frowned, not mentioning Shikamaru, who rolled his eyes.

Ino irked and continued to talk to Kabuto, ignoring Sakura in the process.

After a couple of minutes, Kabuto explained how he had these 'cheat cards' which had information on everyone in the room.

This was one of the things that caught Sasuke's attention, as he quickly perked up; interested and intrigued.

"I want information on Gaara of the Sand, Rock Lee,...and Y/n L/n" Sasuke demanded, slightly glancing at Y/n.

Y/n frowned in confusion, "If he wanted information about me, he could have just asked....Not like I would've told him anything." Y/n thought with a scoff, glaring at Sasuke.

"Hm? You already know their names? That's no fun!..." Kabuto says, in a slight teasing voice.

At this Sasuke simply grunted, wanting to just get the information and get the exams done already.

Kabuto gives the information about Gaara and Lee.

He informed Sasuke and the rest of the rookies of how Gaara had never received an injury on any of his missions. He also showed them how Lee specialised fully in taijutsu.

He raises an eyebrow at your card.

"Hmm...Here it says 'Y/n Iguro'?" Kabuto says, slightly confused and curious, "Doesn't the Iguro clan only consist of females?"

Everyone looks over to you in shock.

"Iguro?!" Kiba exclaimed, staring Y/n up and down.

Gaara, who overheard this, narrowed his eyes at your figure.

Kabuto then explains your card, which was normal, and up to date with missions and stuff.

However, it did not mention your role as a jinchuriki.

You felt decently amused, "Iguro? How strange." You began to gaslight everyone.

"I am not an Iguro. They only consist of females; which I clearly am not." Y/n's eyes glowered slightly.

Kaburamaru then popped his head out from your neck, getting bad vibes from this 'Kabuto' person. Kaburamaru began to glare towards the male with glasses.

This makes the male's eyes slightly widen.

Y/n L/n seemed to have gotten the attention of Kabuto Yakushi who would be reporting this interaction to his snake-like master.

Due to Kabuto pissing them off, Y/n then walked off towards Gaara; deciding to hang out with him instead.

It's safe to say that the male was surprised by your sudden actions, and stared at you while you silently just stayed next to him.

The only reason why you stood there was because he was quiet. He honestly wasn't that bad in your opinion.

"Why are you here?" Gaara narrowed his eyes at you.

Y/n only stared at him, "You're quiet and not as annoying as the others."

Gaara's eyes slightly widened in surprise, "You're quiet, too." He murmured.

It was announced that they were doing a written exam. You were in the row in front of Sakura, and looked very bored.

A man named Ibiki eventually had told them to start, after setting a few rules. He had also made it clear that they shouldn't cheat.

Kaburamaru informed Y/n that they should be cheating. The point of a ninja is to be sneaky and not get caught.

However, Y/n did not need to cheat. They were, surprisingly, very smart. If you were to cheat, you could've easily just used Kaburamaru to sneak around and get you some answers.

After about 20 minutes, Ibiki tells them to stop and finish the question that they are on. He informs everyone that this last question is very hard, and that if they wanted to, they could put their hand up to give up. However, their team would also have to leave with them.

Surprisingly, a lot of people put their hands up.

Naruto began to slowly put his hand up, panicking the rest of Team Seven.

Sakura was unsure on how to feel, and was inwardly glad Naruto was putting his hand up. If they left the exams, she wouldn't have to participate.

However, she wanted to prove herself as a useful ninja! Luckily for her, Naruto suddenly slammed his hand onto the table.

This irked Y/n.

Why did he have to harm the poor table!

Naruto had given a speech that had suddenly convinced their competition to stay.

Y/n sighed, slightly annoyed. However, they were utterly biased since it was Naruto, and their annoyance disappeared very quickly.

"Forest of death? That sounds boring, dattebayo!" Naruto obliviously stated in a cocky tone.

Anko, the female that was leading this task, got a kunai and threw it at him, cutting his cheek.

"You were saying...?" Anko says, an eyebrow raised.

Suddenly a person with a long, snake-like tongue grabs the kunai and gives it back to the dango-loving woman.

"You dropped this~....." The 'female' says, slightly glancing at Sasuke and Y/n with a smirk that only meant trouble.

When she goes, Naruto begins to try and stick out his tongue like the 'lady' had done before and tries to get it just as long.

Y/n watches with narrowed eyes, extremely suspicious of the 'woman'. Meanwhile, Kaburamaru seemed to be annoyed and bored by Naruto's behaviour.

Then, after an interview with Konohamaru, they go into the forest; curious about what may happen and occur....
