How do they react to you not calling them by one of your usual endearments? 🤔

For those who don't know an endearment is usually a phrase ( nickname ) expressing love. ( Ex. baby, love, buttercup, beautiful, etc. )

Giyu Tomioka

Giyu wouldn't mind it at first, thinking it was just a slip of the tongue. But once you say it again, and again without bothering to correct yourself he gets worried ( like really worried ). He'll think you're mad at him or something and'll come up to you like a sad little puppy and ask you if he did anything to make you upset. Poor baby. :(

Obanai Iguro

He gets such an attitude and it's so funny. He'll sass you in every single way imaginable ( Because why are you calling him Obanai? ) and'll overall act like a prick. How childish of him..

Mitsuri Kanroji

She's sad and it shows. Mitsuri will immediately think she did something wrong and will visibly began panicking if you continue this. She may even start crying after too long because she's too scared to ask you if she made you upset. :(

Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu will immediately notice and call you out on your mistake. She doesn't think anything bad of it, she just wanted you to correct yourself. When you start laughing and tell her you were doing it to prank her, she'll shake her head and smile at your playfulness. Seriously, did you think you could get an reaction out her?

Sanemi Shinazugawa

Not gonna lie he probably wouldn't catch it at first but when he does he'll back track and be like 'What did you say?'. He'll wait for you to correct yourself but if you decide not to he'll get all pissed off and'll be angry for the rest of the day.

Kyojuro Rengoku

Kyojuro doesn't think anything of it and just concludes that you're having a bad day. He's so optimistic that he won't even think you're mad or anything so if you're doing this witht he intent of getting a reaction from him it won't work.

Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro will immediately notice but won't say anything. Maybe you forgot, maybe you're in a bad mood, maybe you just don't want to use any endearments today. Whatever the reason is he won't pry, no matter how odd it is to here his name come from your mouth.

Muichiro Tokito

This. boy. gets. so. flipping. pouty.

Why are you calling him Muichiro? That's not his name ( Well, it is but you know what I means )! This boy refuses to leave your side until you call him by an endearment. And, if you or someone else does manage to get him to leave he'll be so irritated. If it gets to that point expect him to revoke your cuddling privileges for the next like week.

Yuichiro Tokito

Yuichiro doesn't think anything of it but once he notices you haven't called him by one of those idiotic nicknames all day he gets irritated and bothered. He's just so used to it that it feels wrong when you don't use one, y'know?

Once he realizes you're messing with him he will 100% start calling you by your actual name instead of one of his usual endearments ( Which doesn't really affect you since his endearments weren't really sweet to begin with ). Is it petty and childish? Yes. Does he care? No. And, will he ignore you for the rest of the day because of this? Absolutely.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

This boy visibly flinches when you call his name because the only time you ever call him Zenitsu is when he's done something to really piss you off. You had this man going through the five stages of grief over here because he didn't know what he did wrong. And, once you explain to him that it was just a prank he'll let out a sigh of relief, nearly crying as he begs you to never scare him like that again.

Kanao Tsuyuri

Kanao doesn't bat an eyelash when you call her name. Yes, she likes the nicknames more but it's not like you use them all the time. When you explain to her that you were trying to get a reaction out of her she'll give you a smile and pat your head, saying something along the lines of 'You'll get me next time, cherry blossom'. 

Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke would probably say something like 'That's not my name!' or 'Stop that!' when you call him by his name. He doesn't like it since he's so used to you referring to him by something different and won't calm down until you stop. If you don't want him to cause a scene like he usually does I suggest dropping this right now.

Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko goes about life as normal, not caring in the slightest that you referred to her as Nezuko instead of the usual 'Nez'. She does however, get more than a little pouty if you continue to not refer to her by some kind of nickname or endearment. She'll mope around, shoulders drooped and everything until you tell her that you were just joking and not mad at her. She's fine after that ( after you gave her some cuddles as an apology for making her stress out for nothing ofc ).

Gyomei Himejima

Gyomei notices but doesn't say anything at first. You tend to not call him by a nickname or endearment when you're in a bad mood so he doesn't want to make things worse by prying. Although, he may come to you later asking if there's something wrong and if you want to cuddle as to hopefully make you feel better.

Kanae Kocho

Kanae would probably ask you if there's something wrong. You tend to call her by nicknames all the time so why is today different? If you don't give her a reason she'll leave it alone and come back later but overall she's more worried about if you're okay rather than you calling her by name.
