»You guys, I had a phone call earlier.« I say.

We were sitting at the ice cream shop already.

»I'll fly to the Bahamas in two days for another shooting.« I tell the girls. »And I can even bring someone with me.«

»No way!« Both Sadie and Maya look at me.

»That's amazing, Lex!« Maya smiles.

»It is!« Sadie nods.

»So, who wants to come along?« I ask.

»I'm busy actually.« Sadie tilts her head. »I'd love to, but I can't.«

»Well, I'm so down.« Maya claps in excitement.

»Perfect!« I grin at her.

I was in my bedroom, packing my suitcase since we'd leave tomorrow morning. Music was playing on the tv as I decided which clothes to pack and which I'd leave here. Maya and I were excited for this trip. Of course, I had a job to do but on the evenings Maya and I could spend time together. I called Joe to tell him the news, and put him on speaker.

»Hey, pretty boy.« I get excited as he picks up. »Are you busy right now?«

»Not really.« He says. »What's up, love? Did you miss me already?«

»Of course!« I chuckle. »Well, I just wanted to tell you that Maya and I are going to the Bahamas for a few days. I have a shooting there.«

»That's so cool!« He sounds excited. »Damn, I'd love to come with you. The weather in England is... bad.«

»I'd like it if you'd join us.« I bite my lower lip as I fold my clothes. »Apart from the weather, how is it in London?«

»It's great, honestly.« Joe tells me. »It's nice to spend time with my family again.«

»Oh, I can imagine.« I say. »How much longer will you stay there?«

»I haven't decided yet.« He says. »You really miss me, huh?« Joseph speaks sarcastically before laughing.

»Nope.« I grin. »Not at all.«

»How long are you gonna stay at the Bahamas for?« Joe asks.

»Not too long, don't worry.« I mock him. »I think they said for three days. Or four. I can't remember.«

»Joseph!« I hear a girls voice in the background. »You said you'd play with me.«

She sounded really young.

»Hey, Lex-« Joe says. »I'll call you tonight, alright? My sister has been begging me to play with her barbies for the whole day now.« He chuckles.

»Of course!« I giggle. »Have fun, Ken.«

»Wow.« He says monotone. »Very creative.«
