Hriday entered his in-law's home and was met with the sight of his furious looking father in law and worried mother in law but he couldn't spot his wife and daughter.

"Aaiye beta,aapse hi baat krni thi hame"Aayat's father said.

"Papa,hum please ek baar Aayat se mil le,hame bhi kuch pata nhi h kya hua h? pehele unse baat kr lete h ek baar"Hriday said before his father in law could initiate any conversation with him.

He was really worried sick when he hadn't found his daughter and wife in their bedroom,he had then went downstairs and even went to his dadu but they weren't with him as well.That's when his dadisa had told him that Aayat had left the home after misbehaving with all of them.

He obviously didn't believe them,neither did he wait to hear anything from them,he just wanted to see his wife and hear everything from her,he trusted only her words nobody else's.

He was then informed by his mother that Aayat left with Iti and it didn't take him any time to guess that she had gone to her parents house,how much ever angry she was he knew she wouldn't risk Iti's safety and the only place she could take Iti would be her parents house and so he immediately came here.

His father in law was about to say something but his mother in law spoke first.

"Haa,aap jaiye woh apne kamre mein hi h"His mother in law said and he nodded and immediately left towards her room to know what happened,but firstly he wanted to make sure that they both were fine.

He opened the door and was met with the sight of his daughter sitting on his wife's lap leaning on her chest as she wife placed an ice pack on his daughter's cheek.

What the hell happened in his absence???

"Papa!"Iti said as she saw him and immediately went towards him hugging his legs.

Hriday picked her up in his arms immediately but his gaze was on his wife who seemed too angry.

"Papa,hume woh uncle ne mara!!yaha par,yeh dekhiye...pr mumma ne baaf(ice)laga diya..ab thik h"Iti said and Hriday's eyes widened as he stared at her cheek which still was red though it wasn't swollen anymore.

Hriday went and sat beside his wife on the bed with Iti in his lap.

"Kya hua tha Aayat??aur yeh kisne kiya Iti ke saath??"Hriday asked in a calm voice but his breaths were deep which meant he was trying to control his anger right now.

"Inhe yaha dijiye,thoda aur baraf se sekenge toh dard kam ho jayega, swelling kam ho hi gayi h"Aayat said and Hriday did as asked.

He passed Iti in her arms and Iti once again resumed the same position she sat earlier in as Aayat again gently pressed the ice pack on her cheek.

"Kya hua tha Aayat?"Hriday again asked as he caressed Iti's back with his right hand.

Aayat looked down then and couldn't stop the dam tears anymore,she didn't even cry when she saw her parents,she just said she had left her in law's place and came here and since then she had been sitting here in her bedroom with her daughter trying to tend her daughter's bruised cheek.

Hriday's heart clenched as he saw those tears in her eyes,he didn't liked seeing her cry it made him feel too helpless.She was very important to him!

He gently wrapped his arm around her shoulder taking her in a side hug, letting her lean in his embrace as he made Iti sit on his lap caressing her bruised cheek with his left hand as she leaned on his left side.

He gently rubbed her back as she cried and Iti looked at her with curious eyes.

"Mumma?aap kyu ro rahi h??"Iti asked in her baby voice and Aayat cried even more.

"Shhh....bas Aayat,hum aa gaye h na??chaliye rona band kijiye!"Hriday said as he patted her back.

"Mumma,aap mat roiye,aap bhi hamari tarah strong h na?"Iti said and Aayat couldn't help but nod at that with tears streaming down her eyes.

"Iti aapki mumma ko na chot lag gayi h,isliye woh ro rahi h,jese aap rote ho na jab aapko chot lagti h tab,wese hi"Hriday said trying to make his daughter understand.

"Phir chot thik kijiye na papa!"Iti said getting concerned for her mother.

"Abhi kr dete h,aap jaakr apni nani aur nanu ke saath bethiye tab tak"Hriday said but Iti shook her head stating she would stay with her mother and make her feel better.

"Iti beta,aap neeche jaiye na,mumma ko hum thik kr denge,aap ek kaam kijiye apni Nani se kahiye ki woh aapki mumma ke liye tasty tasty khana banaye,aur unki madad bhi kijiye,woh khana khaakr mumma thik ho jayengi"Hriday said as he caressed her hair and Iti immediately nodded and left stating she would get tasty food for her mother.

Hriday cupped Aayat's face in his palms and wiped away the tears with his thumbs.He gently caressed her hair and put the strands away which were lingering over her face.

"Ab bataiye bhi jaan!"Hriday asked lovingly in the gentlest tone ever.

Aayat's eyes again streamed with tears and she hugged him tightly this time.He caressed her back gently as her whole form shook with those sobs.

"Ab rona band kijiye aur hame bataiye kya hua h?"Hriday said when even after a few mins she didn't stop crying.

He again wiped those tears with the pad of his thumbs and caressed her face which turned red now,her nose was also red and her eyes glossy and wet because of those tears.

Aayat took a deep breath then to calm herself down,she felt his fingers grasping her palms in his hand and she too held it firmly.

She then narrated the whole incident to him,what all happened,how Rudransh insulted her,pointed out a finger on her character,the way he slapped her daughter,the way he tried to slap her and even that still the ladies of the family were supporting him instead of her.

She didn't missed out anything and even said everything clearly,even every sentence she had uttered and the way she had slapped Rudransh too.

By the end she was again very angry as she remembered the whole fiasco again.

Hriday was boiling in anger now,his jaw clenched,as his blue eyes darkened.He stared at his wife who seemed a lil afraid as she saw the look on his face.

"Aapko waha jaane ki zarurat nhi h Hriday"Aayat said as she made him look at her as he faced away from her.

"Aap yahi rahiyega Iti ke saath,hum aate h thodi derr mein"Hriday said as he got up from the bed but Aayat held his wrist making him stop as she walked infront of him.

"Hriday hum nhi chahte aap unke muhh bhi lage,woh worth it nhi h,aapko waha jaakr unse jhagdne ki koi zarurat nhi h"Aayat said as she tried to make him look at her but he was determined to go home and do an even score with Rudransh.

He wasn't letting it go,he didn't cared about any relations now,he didn't cared if his dadu would be sad about it too.

That man had slapped his daughter!!!

Hriday himself has never even raised his voice at his daughter and that fucking man had the audacity to raise his hand on her!!!!

He had insulted his wife,tried to malign her character and what not!!!

"Humne kaha na aap yahi rahiyega?hum aate h thode time mein"Hriday said as he gently removed her arm from around his wrist and leaned in to kiss her forehead gently.

Though his actions were too gentle with her,she knew he was a volcano who would erupt the moment he saw Rudransh.She didn't had the courage to stop him though,the anger that radiated off of him had scared her too.

Rathod House,
Living Room,

Everyone turned towards the entrance as Aayat's father and Hriday both entered together.

"Arre samdhi ji aap?aaiye aaiye bethiye"Suchit said as he welcomed Aayat's father Rajesh.

"Bethne nhi aaye h aaj hum yaha aapke saath,kuch batane aaye h"Rajesh said in a stern voice as he rejected the offer of sitting with them.

"Aapki beti ne aaj bht bada bakheda khada kr diya hamare ghar pr samdhi ji,aise sanskar h aapke?"Dadisa said in an angry tone.

"Hamare sanskar the isliye zyada kuch kaha nhi hoga aap logo ko,wrna aapne jo unke saath kiya h uske baad bhi woh aapke saath adjust krne ki koshish krti rahi bichari!"Rajesh said.

"Aisa bhi konsa dukh diya h aapki beti ko humne?jabse iss ghar mein kadam rakhe h unhone hrr roz koi naya tamasha khada krti h!"Badi maa said and Rajesh glared at her.

"Hamari beti ko konsa dukh diya h aapne??konsa sukh diya h yeh kahiye?aapka beta shadi se bhaag gaya,phir dusri shadi krke ghar aa gaya aur aapne usse apna liya?hamari beti ke baare mein ek baar bhi nhi socha??aur aaj jab aapke bete ne unke saath badtameezi ki toh aapne hamari beti ko galat tehra diya??"Rajesh said.

"Aapki beti ne thappad mara h hamare bete ko? badtameezi ki h maasa se,humse,aisi ladki ko ghar mein kese rakh sakte h apne?"Badi maa said.

"Thappad hi mara h,inki harkatein toh joote khaane layak h jabki!!!"Rajesh said and everyone glared at him then.

"Aap hadd paar kr rahe h ab samdhi ji"Suchit said.

"Arre aap logo ne toh kabki paar kr di h apni hadde!!!hum bas apni beti ka ghar kharab nhi hone dena chahte the isliye chup the,pr aap log toh uss layak hi nhi ki woh aapke saath yaha rahe,humse hi bht badi galti ho gayi jo iss jese nalayak aur badkirdaar ladke se apni beti ki shadi pakki kr di!!!acha hua yeh bhaag gaya uss din wrna hamari beti ki zindagi mein toh andhera hi chaa jaata,accha hua jo uss din Hriday se shadi ho gayi unki!!unki kismat acchi thi!!"Rajesh said.

Everyone fumed with anger hearing that,first the daughter insulted them and now the father was also doing the very same thing.

"Arree hum ulta bach gaye aapki chant aur chalak beti se!!"Badi maa said.

"Bete ke pyaar mein itna bhi andhi mat hoiye aap ki sahi galat dekhna hi bhul jaye!!"Rajesh said.

"Samdhi ji,hum aapse maafi maangte h jo bhi hua h uske liye!!"Dadu said as he appeared in the living room then,he had been resting in his bedroom after he had come to know what had happened and that Aayat had left the home.

He felt really bad for not being present there,he could have stopped everything that happened!!!

"Aapki maafi ka kya kare hum??hamari beti waha udaas h??ro rahi h??unke aansu ki keemat de sakte h aap??nhi na??aapke ghar mein bhi toh betiya h na?phir aap log hamari beti ke saath itna galat kese kr sakte h??koi bhi!!koi bhi aisa nhi h yaha jisne unka saath diya ho!!!sab bas unka tamasha bante dekhte rahe!!!woh akele apne aur apni beti ke liye ladti rahi aapse,aur aapne unhe hi galat samjha!!!,arree galti ho gayi humse jo aise ghar mein beti de di apni,phool si bacchi bheji thi humne,aapne itne kaatein de diye unhe!!!"Rajesh said as his eyes turned a lil watery.

He deeply regretted getting his daughter married in such a house,such pathetic people they were!!!

Hriday was a good man no doubt but what about his family??

"Jo marzi aaye bolte rahenge kya aap??galti aapki beti kare aur....

"Bas!!!bas!!aap sab wese hi bht bol chuke h"Dadu said and badi maa kept quiet instantly.

"Papa pr yeh yaha aakr aise kese baatein kr sakte h?"Suchit said.

"Kyu nhi kr sakte??baap h woh,beti di h unhone iss ghar ko,aapne sabne kya kiya??izzat nhi ki unki!!unhe bura bhala kaha,kosa unhe, beizzat kiya unhe!!!"Dadu said deeply disappointed.

"Hume aapki maafi ya kuch nhi chahiye ab samdhiji,hum yahi kehne aaye h ki ab hum apni beti ko wapas iss ghar mein nhi bhejne wale h,kabhi bhi nhi!!!"Rajesh said and left without hearing anything.

Dadu then stared at Hriday who had been silent all this while.

"Hriday,Aayat aur Iti ko wapas le aaiye"Jheel said.

"Kyu maa??kyu laaye wapas unhe yaha??taaki unki phirse beizzati ho??hamari beti pr phirse koi haath utha sake??"Hriday asked coldly as his eyes glared at Rudransh.

The cause of his daughter's pain and his wife's tears!!!

"Aapse humne kabhi kuch expect nhi kiya tha dadisa,ek aurat yaha pr beizzat ho rahi thi aur aap phir bhi iss haramkhor ka saath de rahi thi!!!!"Hriday said as his voice raised at the last part and everyone's eyes widened hearing it.

"Hriday!!!yeh kese shabd istemaal kr rahe h aap??itni gandi kabse ho gayi aapki zuban?"Badi maa scolded him.

"Hamari toh zuban hi gandi h,aap sabki tarah dil mela nhi h hamara,mann kharab nhi h!!!"Hriday said.

Hriday couldn't hold it any longer and he marched towards Rudransh in long strides and held him by his collar,Rudransh was just 5'7 inch and so Hriday easily towered him with his 6'2 inch figure.

"Aapki jaan lene ka mann kr raha h hamara!!!!himmat bhi kese hui hamari beti ko haath bhi lagane ki???"Hriday said and immediately landed a punch on his face making him fall down.

All the ladies immediately rushed towards him but Hriday glared so dangerously at them,they backed away.
