Edd sighed sitting at his friend's grave. It had been not even 2 weeks, and he was going insane. (Y/N)'s spirit sat beside him, staring down at their own grave.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there..." Edd whispered.

(Y/N) didn't die naturally. They'd gone out to buy Edd more cola, and got shot on the way there.

Tears streamed down Edd's face, as he sat a small, (F/F) on the grave.

"It wasn't your fault...." ( Y/N) spoke softly, but sadly, Edd could not hear. They'd tried everything to get his attention, but they couldn't muster enough energy even to make a door move a centimeter.

"If I was just there with you....maybe at least we could have gone together..."

" Edd, don't talk like that... "

"I was even going to ask you out that night... Stupid isn't it?"

(Y/N) smiled a bit, "I would have liked that, don't beat yourself up..."

"I don't even know if you're here right now... Tom said you were probably in a better place...  Matt? Well, he's pretty much forgot you."

" Ouch. " (Y/N) joked. If only Edd could hear them, I'd be so much easier to comfort him.

"You can't blame him though, at least he doesn't have to bare the pain.."

(Y/N) frowned, trying to place their hand on Edd's shoulder, but it just phasing through.

"I wish I could be with you..."

" Edd, don't say that. "

"I'd do anything just to talk to you again..."

" Stop, please. Move on. " (Y/N) tried to hug Edd.

Edd shivered a bit, sighing, "What am I even doing?"

(Y/N)'s spirit was attached to Edd. The only way they would move on if was if Edd did. They silently walked beside Edd was he walked down the road, back to his flat. (Y/N) understood if it would take Edd a while, but they were afraid he'd try to hurt himself. He'd already tried more than once, Tom interrupting it each time. It terrified them, knowing they couldn't stop it. It was times like these that they wished that they could at least make a small noise or anything.

"I can't do this for much longer.. " Edd whispered again.

(Y/N) screamed in frustration, "Edd! You're okay! I'm here! Okay?! Please!Don't do anything you'll regret!"

Edd walked into his home, that was now empty. Matt and Tom had gone out to get some groceries, thinking they'd be home before Edd's return. Edd sharply exhaled, quickly making his way up to the bathroom.

"Edd?! EDD!" (Y/N) quickly followed him up the stairs to his bathroom. Edd scrambled through the cabinets, trying to find something.

"EDD! STOP! WHAT ABOUT TOM AND MATT!? YOU CAN'T LEAVE THEM! EDD, PLEASE,JUST LISTEN TO ME! HEAR ME! IT'S NOT YOUR TIME!"
(Y/N) desperately tried to speak to Edd, but with no avail.

"COME ON, EDD! YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THIS!"

Edd found the bottle and quickly went down stairs to get a glass of water, trying to do it before Tom could come and stop him.

"EDDWARD GOULD! STOP! TOM?! MATT?! PLEASE! SOMEONE STOP HIM!"

Edd scrambled to open the bottle,emptying it out on his hand, with tears still streaming down his face.

(Y/N) screamed more in frustration and agony, violently crying. They couldn't do anything. Screaming was no use, as Edd downed the pills.

"Edd...." ( Y/N) whimpered.

(TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE ADMIN WRITING THIS OUT OF BOREDOM. I HONESTLY THINK THIS IS SUCKY. HOW MANY PEOPLE'S HEARTS HAVE I SHATTERED? ASIDE FROM YOU WHO ARE HEARTLESS, OF COURSE.)

(Y/N) cried into their hands, then rocking back in forth in a corner with their face to the wall. They couldn't bare see Edd after he took the pills.

(Y/N) felt a touch on their shoulder and they sharply turned around to see who it was.

"Edd?!"

" (Y/N)! " He tightly embraced them in a hug.

(Y/N) cried into his shoulder, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" They sobbed, weakly punching his arm repetitively.

" I-I just had to see you-"

"I COULDN'T STOP YOU! I JUST HAD TO WATCH!" They cried more.

" (Y/N), I'm sorry, I couldn't bare it any longer, " He continued hugging them, resting his head on their shoulder.

"Edd... You know Tom and Matt aren't going to take this well..."

As soon as they said that, Tom and Matt burst through the door, screaming in horror at the sight of their friend.

"MATT,WE WERE TO LATE!"
