"YO MANI, go live with me on insta." Sharky said barging into Normani's room as she looked up.

"What happened to hello how are you?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

"Hello, how are you? Now go live with me." He said sitting on her gaming chair, leaning his phone on her speaker as a balance.

She sighs as she gets up from her comfortable position, walking over towards her friend. She looks down at him before back to the live that he was getting started.

Sharky looked up at Mani as he pats his thighs as a sign for her to sit on his lap. She sits on his lap, he puts his hand on her hip slightly, and out of the camera so that they can't see.

Normani got a tingling feeling in her stomach as she feels him stroking his fingers up and down her stomach.

"What's good everyone? Me and Mani are going to be answering some questions!" Sharky said, smiling whilst looking at the screen.

"I never agreed to this?" She said, turning her head to look at him. He looks up at her and squeezes her waist.

As the questions started to come through, Sharky adjusts himself and puts his other hand on her thigh.

She mentally curses as she feels butterflies erupt in her stomach. She knew she should not be feeling like this towards her best friend.

"Alright, first question is. What's the next beta squad video?" Sharky repeats the question out loud.

"Well in the trailer you can see us eating some hot wings, and yeah you can just wait and see I'm afraid." Normani said.

"Normani, you're gorgeous." Sharky reads aloud as he watched the girls face light up hearing the compliment.

"Aw thank you babes." She said smiling widely.

"I agree with that person." Sharky said, looking up at Normani with admiration in his eyes.

He caught himself looking at her for way longer than he needed too. He was mentally hoping that the audience hadn't seen the sparkle in his eyes when he looks at the girl on his lap.

"omg the way sharky looks at Normani." She reads out as she looks down towards Sharky.

"Aw you in love with me sharks?" She said playfully and leaning her head on his as she puts her hand on top of his that's still resting on her thigh.

He smiles slightly but doesn't say anything.

"Beta squad collab soon?" Another question asked.

"Oh my god! I want to collab with AMP!" Normani shouted, "I love them boys with my whole heart, especially Duke." She said winking at the phone.

Sharky feels himself getting jealous as she expresses her supposed love towards the amp member. He squeezes her waist a bit.

"Alright I think that's enough questions for today." He said as he lifted his phone and said his goodbyes to his audience and needed the live.

Normani gets up off of Sharky's lap, "so sharky, you looking at me with love and you get jealous when I say I love duke?" She said laughing.

He laughs and rolls his eyes, "shush man." He said looking at her.

"For real though, I saw the way you looked at me." She said inching closer to his body.

He looks up at her, and raises his eyebrows.

"Yeah?" He said in a low voice as she nods, now right in front of the man.

She puts her hands on her shoulders, as he puts his hands on her waist. She looks into his eyes and then down to his lips.

She does the triangle method she saw on social media, looking to his left eye then right, then down to his lips.

"Fuck." He whispers under his breath. As they lean in closer.

As they inch closer, they hear a knock on the door making them jump away from each other.

"What yous want for food?" Chunkz asked.

The pair sighed and looked at each other, they walk out of the room with Mani holding Sharky's hand behind his back.
