Chapters 2 (Back To New Orleans)

Now we where on the streets. Had nothing but each other. Had to watch each others backs, feed each other, plus have a strap. Cause these niggas get mad jealous. That's was when we knew we where moving back to our old hood.

Since we made a change we might as well make it all the way. We had contacts out there. I knew my lil nigga Justin was still out there selling rocks. So it wasn't going to be hard for us to make it back to the top.

Flashback

"Damn how long we been gone." I said looking at my brother getting off the bus.

"To long."

"Way to long." A voice said behind me. I looked to see it was my cousin Antwan. I walked up to him giving him a huge. Shit I missed him. There where no dabs needed here.

"Damn how you know we was gon be here?"

"I talked to that lil nigga y'all fucked with." He said. "Plus that shit been going around the street."

Damn the hood knows we back. But shit that's cool with me. Maybe with that my pops will come looking for us.

Shit. Yea I know he fucked up in our lives, but he still my pops. There's no reason to keep holding that shit over his head. Plus he might have changed. I'm not hoping on it. It just a though tho.

"Damn so she found y'all shit." Antwan said.

"Hell yea." Melvin said.

"Damn."

"Now we back in the streets. Full-time."

"Cuz you good." Antwan said. I was quiet the whole ride looking out the window. I though I'd never disappoint my ma's. Shit I know she back at home crying. I hate now knowing I was causing her pain.

"Naw I'm good." I said leaning back in my seat looking up to the roof of the car.

"If you worrying about a place to stay. You know y'all can stay with me for a while." He said.

"Alright." I said with all the thought going through my head. I will make all these up to her one day. Hopefully.

We just pulled up to Antwan's house. I was kind of glad he offered us a place to stay. Cause I knew we was going to be without for awhile.

"Alright y'all I know it ain't much but y'all can stay here as long as y'all need." He said picking up a empty pizza box off the table.

So let me let you know something about my cousin. All he did was party. So it wasn't a surprise when I seen all the empty bottle of beer and so on.

"Damn what you have a party last night?" Melvin said.

"Shit you know." He said picking up some of the shit.

"So where we gonna be sleeping?" I said.

"Y'all can sleep in here." He said.

"Shit it's better than nothing." I said sitting on the couch.

"Yea." They said together. I sat down and pulled out my note book and starting writing. Shit its the only thing that kept me calm when I was under stress.

"You not going out?" My brother asked.

"Naw I'm staying low today." I said.

"Alright. Well we out."

"Yep."
