Lexi's P.O.V

I was hugging Nash when there was a knock on the door.

"Oh shit! Nash you need to leave! Like now!" I said pushing him towards the window.

"Yeah okay! Text me later tonight! Okay?" He asked.

"Yeah okay..now leave!" I said
and he gave me a peck on the lips and climbed down the tree.

Jack's P.O.V

I can't believe I called my best friend a bitch! She will never talk to me again now..I need to fix this.

I walked to her house and knocked on her door. Her mom was at work or at least I think she is.

So I walked inside. I know it might of sounded rude but..I needed to talk to Lexi.

I saw her mom on the couch passed out with the TV on and a beer in her hand. I walked upstairs and knocked on her door.

I heard her crying..and someone else was in there. Then I heard her say "oh shit!"

And there was a bunch of moving in there. I waited outside the door and she finally opened it..

"Uh hey.." I said.

Lexi's P.O.V

I opened the door and couldn't believe who I was staring at...Jack.

"Uh hey" he said.

"What do u want?" I said sniffling.

"I'm really sorry.." He said looking into my eyes.

"Jack that hurt so bad when you said that." I said tearing up.

"I know. I was just pissed Lexi.

"It's just..when you were staring at Nash I got pissed off." he said walking into my room.

He sat on the bed and started tearing up. I walked over to him and sat right next to him.

"Jack..why would you say that though.." I asked.

"DONT YOU REALIZE IT LEX.." He trailed off.

"NO LEXI!" He grabbed my left arm and pulled my sleeve up.

"WTF! WHY!? WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOU NOT DOING THIS?!" He asked obviously upset that I did it again.

"JACK YOU ARE THE ONLY THING THAT WAS KEEPING ME AWAY FROM DOING IT! YOU LEFT ME! MY MOM BEAT ME..I DONT EVEN CARE WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN TO ME ANYMORE!"

By this time Jack and I were both crying. Jack got up and took my hand and lead me to the bathroom.

He stood behind me and made me look at myself.

"Look Lexi. You are beautiful I would never leave you..don't you know that?" He said.

I turned around to look at his eyes. His eyes are just so perfect.

I put my arms around his neck. And out of nowhere he kisses me. But I don't kiss back.

He pulled away. "I'm sorry..Lexi it's just the reason I got so pissed at you and Nash is because.." He sighed. "I love you." he said.

"And it hurts me so much that my best friend is cutting again."

"Jack I..love you too but...your my best friend you need to know that...I don't wanna ruin our friendship.." I said.

"Yeah okay..I knew I shouldn't of said anything.." he said about to walk out the door.

"Jack please!" I said.

"Lexi I just poured my heart out to you! Don't you get that?" He said crying.

" Jack I don't wanna ruin what we have!" I said walking up to him and wiping his tears.

"It's not fair.." He said with a pouty face.

I giggled a little. "Dude your adorable!" I said.

"I'm serious though Lexi..I love you to much..please just I need to know you love me at least as a friend." He said looking at my cuts.

I tipped his head up to see his eyes. "Don't leave me..and I won't do it again."

With that I kissed his cheek.

"I would never leave you." He said.

I gave him a huge hug. We hugged for about 2 minutes when my mom yelled for me.
