Sanaa's POV

I had got detention with the new kid he was kind of cute but I never got his name. It's been so hard to concentrate. I went over to my locker after class I looked in it and saw photos of "him" Jake my use to be boyfriend. He broke up with me for some popular chick named Aniya. I just knew that name sounded familiar but I didn't know where. I started to cry and rip down the pictures of him and me on my locker. I closed my locker and then to turn around to have my back against my locker. I heard foot steps coming towards me it was probably Cortez or Jake. But then I heard his sweet shy voice "Hey are you ok." He said I opened my eyes in was the new kid. I then looked up at him and smiled. " I'm find I just had a big break up and you know what happened in class, I never really get detention." I felt his arms then go around me. I then put my arms around him too. He made me happy and I just loved looking at him. But did I really have feelings for him what are you saying Sanaa. You are a tomboy and forever will be. You don't need no man and what if he breaks up with you for some popular bitch. "Thanks." I replied back to him. I then walk to the cafeteria to go sit with my group of friends Sade, Cinae, Stevenson, and Cortez. We have been friends since the elementary school. Stevenson is my ex but we still hang out because we just wanted to be friends again. I then sat next to Sade,Cinae was on the other side of her and Cortez sat next to me with Stevenson by the other side of him. I looked for the new kid to see if he would be coming to lunch. I saw looking for somewhere to sit. I then waved telling him over here. It took a while for him to notice me and the other guys then looked back to see what I was doing. I told Cortez to move over so the new kid could sit next to me. He sat down and smiled at me. I then smiled back at him. "Sanaa who's this cute boy." Asked Sade smirking at me. "Oh this is the new kid I just met him in biology class." I said to looking at Sade. "Well hi new kid I'm Cortez." Cortez said introducing himself. "I'm Shadow nice to meet you guys." So that's his name it sounds really cute. "Well I'm Stevenson and that's Sade and Cinae over there now of course you know Sanaa." Said Stevenson he held out his hand to Shadow he then shook Stevenson's hand.
" I'll be right back guys." Shadow said he then got up and put his hoodie on leaving the cafeteria. "I wonder what's up with him." Said Cortez looking very confused.
"I'll be right back guys." I said going to look for Shadow.

Shadow's POV

I got up and went to the bathroom Stevenson really hurt hand. I got in the bathroom and sat on the floor in the corner crying. Did he not like me or did he notice how I was looking at Sanaa when I sat down. Is Sanaa dating him or something now. She's just too beautiful to not have a boyfriend. What if she doesn't feel the same way about me. I then heard something some boy had been standing there the whole time. Oh no I was talking out loud again. "Yep you sure were, I'm Cibsin O'Reilly nice to meet." He held out his hand and I took it he pulled me up. "Thanks anyway but I think she's already into someone." I said smiling at him. "Well you don't have two worry about me liking her because I'm gay." Cibsin said smirking at me. "Well good to know that anyway thanks Cibsin." I stood up and hugged him. "And by the way call me Cib." He said then walking out. I then washed my face off and went out the bathroom. Then someone ran up to me hugging me really tight. It was Sanaa " You worried me sick I just didn't know where you went I thought something happened to you." Sanaa Said hugging me even tighter. "I'm sorry I worried you so much and please your killing me." I said almost about to pass out. She then let go of me "Sorry." Sanaa said I then picked her up and spun her around like if she was my kid. I then pulled her closer to me and her lips were about to touch mine. But then we were interrupted by a voice. "So this is the girl." Cib said smirking then rolling his eyes with his arms crossed. Dammit Cib. "Wait Shadow are you and this guy together." Sanaa Said then pulling back from me. "No,No,No, Shadow's not gay I'm Cib by the way and me and Shadow just met actually and he was talking about some girl so I thought it was you." Cib explained. Sanaa sighed and hugged me again "Good to know that." Sanaa said looking up at me. "Why is that do you like me or something." I said smirking down at Sanaa "No...I....just really care about you like you care about me." Sanaa said blushing. Cib then rolled his eyes "Well see you two love birds." Cib said running away." I then mumbled "Fuck you Cib." The bell then rang Sanaa then pulled back. "Well see you in detention later today." Sanaa said messing up my hair. She then walked away. Well I better get on my way to class too.

Time Skip to Detention already......

Sanaa's POV

Oh I wanted to go through up so bad after gym that was my last class. I went our the gym room dizzy and sick. I then rushed to the bathroom and started throwing up. Uh this almost happens to me every time after gym. My friends had already went home. I then walked out of the bathroom and went to go spend an hour in detention. Atleast it was with Shadow. He's just so cute. Maybe I really did like him after all. I saw him sitting there talking to Cib. I had met him in the hallway when he interrupted me and Shadow about to kiss. Did Shadow have feelings for me though. I then sat down next to him he turned around to look at me. "Hey Sanaa what's up." Shadow said hugging me I hugged him back. "I'm great." We then let go. And then some girl with purple hair and pale skin walked up to Cib. "Hey what's up buddy." She then sat next to Cib. "Cib I thought you said you were gay." Said Shadow looking at him confused.
"Oh this is my friend Arie my lesbian friend." Arie then looked over Cib's shoulder and she looked straight at me smirking and licking her lips. "Cib I thought you said you wouldn't replace with another lesbian girl." punching Cib in his arm. " Aw, and no Arie I didn't replace you this is Sanaa and Shadow there STRAIGHT." Cib said sighting. "Nice to meet you Arie." Said Me and Shadow. I felt so werid. And that Arie had to have feelings for me or sonething.
