It was now May and Arav's wedding preparations began. Everyone was really busy especially Dev and Sakshi as they had the responsibility of the whole wedding. They didn't get to spend time with each other that much and when they had both of them were exhausted, so they just slept. It was the first function today after engagement which is Mehendi. The mansion was decorated with golden light from outside and with huge curtains and flowers from the inside, The decoration looked elegant enough, guests started coming and in no time the function began. 

Dev and Sakshi's Outfit:

Sakshi came down the stairs not knowing Dev who was standing there speaking with someone but stopped when he saw his wife coming down looking so pretty yet simple in her saree with hair left open. Their eyes met and Sakshi felt shy from his gaze. He came towards her and took her hand in his, helping her down the stairs. 

Sakshi: "How do I look?" 

Dev: "So pretty" 

He kissed her forehead which made her blush but happy at the same moment. 

Sakshi: "You look handsome too Mr. Rajput" 

Dev: "Thank you Mrs. Rajput" 

He bowed his head which made both of them to giggle. Their moment got disturbed from Mrs. Rajput's voice calling for Sakshi's help. She excused herself and went away. 

Mrs. Rajput: "Did you call the henna artist? when is she coming?" 

Sakshi: "I called her mummy ji; she must be here by now" 

Mrs. Rajput: "And what about the refreshments?" 

Sakshi: "The maids are doing it"

Mrs. Rajput: "Okay and did you send henna to the Verma's?" 

Sakshi: "Yes I did, don't worry everything with go good" 

she nodded a little relieved from stress. Few ladies began singing music while the henna artist applied Mehendi to girls one by one.  In 3 hours, all almost all the guests got their henna done along with the family members when Sakshi sat down to get her Mehendi done, halfway through its Mrs. Rajput called her. 

Sakshi: "I'll just come" 

she excused herself and went away. she looked after the guests while they were having food and did the remaining work. she also applied henna to few ladies despite her henna being incomplete. In a few hours all the guests left. 

Mrs. Rajput: "Your Mehendi isn't done dear?" 

Sakshi: "Yes I was caught up with work" 

Mrs. Rajput: "You should have told me the henna artist left just now" 

Sakshi: "It's okay mummy ji I'll do it on my own" 

she nodded. they hugged and praised her for her work then left for sleeping. Sakshi took the henna with her and sat in the garden applying it on her left palm. Dev came downstairs looking for his wife.  He searched everywhere and finally found her in the garden, her back facing him. 

Dev: "Sakshi" 

He went and sat down beside her, looking at what she's doing. 

Sakshi: "Aap Soe Nahi?" 

Dev: "Tumhare Bina?" 

Sakshi: "Sorry Dev Vo mein mehndi Laga Rahi thi" 

Dev: "The henna artist didn't do it for you?" 

Sakshi: "I was busy with work, so she left" 

Dev: "I'll do it for you" 

Sakshi: "Apko aata Hai?" 

Dev: "Expert Nahi Hun lekin try karunga" 

she chuckled and nodded. He placed her hand on the cushion and took the cone making a design. 

Dev: "So mam do you like the design so far?" 

Sakshi: "Yes sir, it's good" 

he spoke throughout but Sakshi just stared at him being so adorable and his real self around her. The world knew him as cold, straightforward and intimidating but for her he seemed like a small baby probably 5-year-old cute kid who is trapped in a huge muscular body.  After 30 minutes her henna was all done, it seemed good and simple.

Dev: "I wrote my name here see" 

Sakshi: "It's so cute I love it" 

Dev: "So mam how would you like to pay? by cash, credit or any other form?" 

He said the last thing while winking his eye, she knew what he meant but to tease him she said. 

Sakshi: "I choose to pay by cash" 

Dev: "Ohh" 

His face fell for a second which made her laugh. 

Sakshi: "Your very cute Mister" 

Dev: "I'm sorry I have a wife; you can't hit on me" 

Sakshi: "Oh? do you love your wife?" 

Dev: "Yes I love her she's the most beautiful and nicest person I know" 

she giggled listening to him. 

Dev: "So come on give me my money" 

Sakshi: "My husband isn't here so I don't have money with me" 

Dev: "So let's go for other forms of payment" 

he picked her pick and started walking to their room. Sakshi kissed his whole face as a reward. 

Sakshi: "I love you Dev" 

Dev: "I love you too Doll"
