3.3: Yellow

I nodded as tears drop from my eyes. It was gone... For the first time... It disappeared without feeling immense pain...

I sobbed as she went in for a hug. I shook my head on her chest as I kept crying... "It's ok... That voice won't come back..."

I felt warmth in her cuddles, her voice soothes me and my mind, her strict aura that every student feels from her vanished... Only to be replaced by a sweet and caring vibe around me. Brock sat down with a relieved smile.

"If it comes back... I'll chase it away." Ms. D whispers. It reassured me as I slowly feel drowsy on her arms... I slowly fell asleep.

"Hey there buddy!" The mysterious voice exclaimed. "Is the voice gone?"

"Yes! Thanks to Ms. D..." I happily replied... I never been so happy in my life! This was amazing!

"Ms. D? What's her real name?" The voice kindly questioned...

"It's..." I was about to answer when I trailed off in realization... The 'D' in her name means Detention... She was always called Ms. D... Even by the teachers... But her name... "I don't know..." I honestly answer with guilt.

I was an Outcast... A person that no one cares about... Well that was before... I finally have someone to care for me... A teacher... Who knew exactly who I am and knows exactly what to do when I need it... But with that... I felt bad...

She actually cared... A teacher finally cared about us... But we don't even stop to recognize it... Let alone realize it!

"Well... You should ask it... I mean It doesn't hurt to ask Yellow..." the voice stated.

"Yellow?"

"Call her that... She'll understand." the voice gleefully said as I feel myself waking up.

"Are you awake now, Jonathan?" Ms. D was sitting in a chair beside me when I open my eyes. She was smiling... Not giving a strict vibe or anything like that...

"I'm fine Ms. D..." I honestly replied. I was thinking about what that calming voice said; Call her Yellow.

"If you still hear that voice... Let me know, dear." She stood up from her seat and walked away... "Thank you..."

I stopped mid-sentence as I debate on whether or not to call her 'Yellow'... It's weird... She doesn't even wear yellow... She never wore yellow ever! But why did that soothing voice calls her 'Yellow'? I inhaled sharply and deeply as I get ready for whatever will happen to me...

"...Yellow." I muttered as quietly as possible, but loud enough for her to hear. She quickly stopped and turned to me. I awkwardly stared at her shocked expression for a while.

But after a moment... She stared to tear up... Wait! Ms. D! The teacher that was know by students to have no heart like the other teachers... Started to cry!? Wait! Did I offend her!? Shit! I shouldn't have listened to any vo-

"How did you know what to call me?" she sobbed as she quickly walked back to her seat... She was crying... With... Tears of Joy? "No one ever calls me by my nickname... Even my co-teachers..."

Should I be honest?! Should I lie?! What should I do?!

"I... Uhh..." I gulped down whatever was on my throat as I sighed and honestly answered... "A voice told me to call you Yellow..."

She let out an audible gasp and hugged me. I could feel tears fall on my back as he mumbled the words; "You little Irish cutie."

Irish... Cutie...? I didn't care about it as she pull back from the hug and wipe her tears. "Green is probably that voice you heard... He probably helped you get to me."

"Green?"

"A friend of mine... He... Didn't survive from the same 'accident' as you." she sadly informed me. She has a friend... Who's like me?

"I'm... So sorry..."

"It's alright Jonathan... It's alright..." she said as she brought her phone out and sighed. "I need to go... I'll be back..." she grumpily stood up...

Before she step out of my sight, she looked back at me and smiled... "And you can keep calling me Yellow... I like it."
