You took a deep breathe as you stepped out of your car. You had been invited to McLaren Technology Center by none other than Lando Norris himself.

You were a gamer. Specifically, a racing gamer. You had over 2 million followers on your social media platforms where you shared videos of you playing racing games and racing other content creators.

While you were known for being really good racing in a game, you'd never set foot in an actual race car. You'd met Lando by happenstance when a fan of his asked him to invite you onto one of his twitch streams. He'd mentioned before how he was a big fan of yours and that he never thought you'd actually join. You happened to be free that night and when you saw his DM you nearly lost your mind. You were a big fan of F1 and of the McLaren racing team.

What followed was a really fun night of you and Lando chatting about everything racing and gaming and ended with him formally inviting you to the MTC for a tour.

You were in absolute awe of all the history from the trophies to the cars to all the other memorabilia. The whole building seemed to be in a buzz about you being there and someone had to explain to Daniel why. He had no idea who you were and didn't want to be rude when he met you.

He was pleasantly surprised when he did get to meet you. He had been under the impression you were just another young YouTuber, maybe closer to Lando's age. But he found you to be closer to his age and absolutely drop dead gorgeous. And not to mention you really knew your stuff. You weren't all gaming and actually knew a lot about racing, also having an engineering degree under your belt.

The 2 of you ended up talking for quite a while until you had to move onto the next part of the experience that had been planned for your day. Daniel was disappointed he didn't have more time with you and asked if you had other plans while you were visiting England.

You caught onto his real unspoken question pretty quickly and told him you were free tonight. He smiled and handed you his phone, asking if he could have your number to finalize plans for later.

You ended up having a great time. Conversation flowed effortlessly between you and he was really funny but also a gentleman. You both could feel something more beginning that night. And when he took you back home at the end of the night, he leaned in to kiss your cheek, asking if he could see you again.

You smiled at him and stood up on your tippy toes to press a gentle kiss to his lips, giving him your answer.
