4 months later

It had been a week since Neriah landed in Paris for Paris fashion week. She had the opportunity to model and she couldn't be more happy. Her fanbase was growing massively especially since she's been cited with Rhys so Paris fashion week was just another way of her making money. Jaelin had been staying with her mother for the week however he'd been getting close to Rhys during the past few weeks so she allowed for them to have conversations on Jaelin's iPad.

7am at Neriahs mothers house

'Hey lil man' Rhys says answering the same FaceTime call he has answered every morning since Neriah left.

' hi ree. Look at the monster truck gramma bought me. It has big wheels and all.'

'It looks soo cool Mann'

After 45 minutes, in which Jaelin ate breakfast and got ready for school on FaceTime.

'Ree will you come get me from school. Gramma says it would be alright'

'I have to talk to your mother lil man I'll try. Have a good day at school and learn for your ree'

At Neriahs hotel

' how has it been going with Rhys' Chanel says on one end of the phone.

'Too good to be true. He's romantic, kind and good with kids. A great role model to jaelin. We ain't even done it yet so I know it's real. I mean the tension is there, I'm just not there yet.' Neriah says packing her bags ready to get on her flight back home.

'Awe y'all do look in love'

Neriah sideeyes her with a smirk 'oh wait that's my man calling me bye girl'

'Hey bae' Rhys says

'Hey' Neriah says with a smile

'Before I forget due to being lost in conversation with you. Jae say he want me to pick him up from school. Is that ok?'

' yea that's fine just make sure you have some clothes for him. I mean tomorrow is Saturday so you don't have to worry about school in the morning. I should be there tomorrow morning.'

' about that be ready... im taking you out tomorrow evening. Jae going with your mother again ngl 😂'

Sure enough the end of the school day came and Rhys was standing right in front of the class door ready to pick up his child.

'Daddyyyyyy' Jaelin screamed running into his arms.

That was enough to make rhys shed a tear as he never expected it and he definitely loved Jaelin like a son so it was really only right. Rhys bought Jaelin new Jordan's, clothes and toys. They spent the rest of the evening playing games and laughing together most importantly tho Rhys helped Jaelin with his homework.

The next evening

Rhys and Neriah had made it to a fine dining restaurant where Rhys had the intention of making them official. What Neriah didn't know was that Rhys took Jae to buy his mother a promise ring as well. Neriah looked good as usual and Rhys made sure to whip out his best suitttt. After a few conversations, Rhys went down on one knee saying:

' Neriah, you have made me the happiest I've been in a while. And your son he's amazing when he called me dad... that's when I had the full inclination to do this. My days are cold without you. We virtually don't argue unless it's about my beard trimmings in the sink😂. I want to make this official so we are one step closer to marriage and being together forever. I want you to be the mother to the rest of my kids and us together forever, Neriah bowman will you be my girlfriend?'

Neriah relived that he wasn't proposing however her heart warm as this was the first time she heard that her son was calling him dad said 'yes' and he slipped the promise ring into her father. After that, she truly felt ready to have his kids even if she wasn't married and that's what she promised herself.
