DAN POV

I was at home reading a book and Verago was at the end of my bed laying down.

Just then there was a knock at my door and it opens and it was my little brother Zane.

"What do you want Zane?"

"I wanted to ask if I could play with Verago?" Zane asks.

"It's his choice if he wants too"

"Where did you get him anyway?" Zane asks.

Zane doesn't know any of this or my adventures we've been on or how we met and so I had to lie.

"I found him in an ally and I saw that he was hungry and so I gave him some of my food and he has followed me ever since"

"When are you going to tell mom and dad that you have a dog?" Zane asks.

"Never and that is because they'll make me get rid of him and I won't let that happen"

"Well, they'll find out eventually that you have a big black dog" Zane says.

"Maybe one day" I look at him "but not today" just then I saw my bracelet glow "Zane it's time for you to go" I then take him to the door and close it and lock it and then there was a bright light and I closed my eyes and when I reopen them I saw Verago looking down at me "what are you looking at?"

"Your bracelet turned you into something blue" Verago says.

"What do you mean" I then look at my hands and they were blue "Verago take me to a mirror"

He then picks me up and takes me to the mirror in my room and then places me there and I gasps at what I saw.

"I'm a blue creature of some kind"

"Maybe we should go ask Kali" Verago says "she may know what you are"

"Good idea" I then jump on his back "go through the secret door I made to get out of here"

He nods and goes through it and goes outside and goes to Kali's home and Verago rings the doorbell with his paw and after a few seconds the door opens and it was Kali.

"Verago what are you doing here and where's Dan?" Kali asks.

"This little blue thing on my back is Dan" Verago says.

She then looks at me "hi"

"Woah" Kali says "come in" he then walk in and we go to the living room and she gets down to my level "wow, I've never seen a real Smurf before"

"A what?" We both ask.

"A Smurf is a mythical creature that live in a forest and live in big mushrooms" she gets up and takes a book off the shelf "this book I have I got it on one of my adventures and this book tells you about mythical creatures such as Smurfs" she show us a picture of the Smurfs" but for your bracelet to change you into one, must mean that the Smurfs are in trouble and the bracelet want you to help them" Kali says.

"If it's another adventure, I'm in"

"Me too" Verago says.

"Then good luck" Kali says.

I then open a portal and we go through it.
