As a lot of people asked me to update Veer and Mishti's meeting at VR today itself .. so giving double update just for you guys.. Enjoy reading:

Next day afternoon

At VR:

Dr. Ayaan Gupta  chief technology officer of VR came to office and went to Veer's cabin

A: congrats Veer for your marriage .

V: Thanks. done? Now focus on work..

A: how unromantic..

V: don't expect romance from me ever Ayaan

A: Time will tell.

Reyansh joined Veer and Ayaan.

R: yes Ayaan from whom are you expecting romance.. the workaholic, unromantic man who got married 5 days before and instead of honeymoon he is here in office. God save the girl..

Ayaan laughed

A: true.. poor girl.

V: I don't think you guys need to worry about my wife.. I will take care of her..

Both looked at him.

V: what?

A: My wife and all?

V: so ?. she is my wife..so I will obviously say "my wife" only right? don't use your small brain too much.. Rey why you came here by the way?

R: oh yeah I came to take you to meet Dr. Khanna as you have not met her yet. Dr. Gupta already met her during the interview.

A: yes.. she is genius...and so confident..

Veer looked at Ayaan

V: seems like you both are too much impressed already?

A: yeah you missed her interview ..or else you would have also told the same.

V: I don't get carried away in emotions like you both ..you should have understood  that by the course of time you know me.

A: okay fine. She is genius but I think a lil mad and crazy ..but cant blame.. genius people are crazy..

R: and she is stubborn too.. she does not get intimidated by anybody. if she thinks something is right she wont budge to say that you are wrong even if you are interviewing her. 

V: hmm.. Enough of build up.. lets go and meet your so called genius and future asset of our company..

They entered the synthesis room.. she was wearing mask, experiment glass and labcoat and was doing some experiment.

R: Dr. Khanna..

She showed one min by showing her hand.. and continued her work .

V: (in mind) impressive and dedicated to work.. nice..

She finished the experiment.. and saw Reyansh 

M: Hi. 

R: Hi. Dr. Khanna  you have already met Dr. Ayaan Gupta during interview and this is Mr.. Veer Oberoi, our CEO.

Mishti was shocked to know Veer is the CEO of VR.

M: (in mind): what is happening?

Veer forwarded his hand to Mishti for handshake gesture

V: welcome to VR.. Dr. Khanna.. Veer Oberoi here.. I am the CEO of VR....heard a lot about your interview and we are happy to have you here..

she removed her mask and the experiment glass.

M: Dr. Mishti Khanna. and thanks Mr. Veer Oberoi... She shook hand and they had an unexpected eyelock for few seconds.. they broke the eyelock and removed their hands immediately

both did not expect each other here. 

A: so how are you finding the office and lab?

M: I am impressed to see the facilities..

V: and I am.. to see you here..

Ayaan looked at Veer like what the hell he is talking

V: I mean of course great choice Dr. Gupta and Reyansh. I know she will do wonder. It's good that VR will be the part of her wonder

Misti smiled remembering their discussion

Rey and Ayaan were clueless about Veer's words and also because they have not seen Veer saying anything other than professional thing to the employees. 

V: So Miss. Mishti Khanna.. I mean Miss or Mrs.? 

M: it's " Dr." Mr. Veer.

V: oh I see.. he smiled

R: are you married ?

M: I don't think my marital status is an issue here..so how does that matter?

V: of course Not.. I am married too.. and it does not matter Ms. or Mrs. I will prefer Dr. only.

Rey looked at Veer.

M: nice to know. 

V: Now you all come to my cabin.

Mishti, Ayaan and Rey followed Veer.

Veer's cabin..

Rey and Ayaan sat in the chair. Mishti was standing

V: sit

M: hm

V: hmm. so I just wanted to tell three of you that finally we got the deal... he looked at her and she smiled..

A: congrats. we did it

R: congrats

M: congrats Mr. Oberoi..

V: Thanks. So we have to start working for that.

A: We can have a formal meeting tomorrow with the technical team. Veer and Dr. Khanna you both be there too.

They all had a little bit discussion on the new project he signed and after sometime Rey and Ayaan left..

So only Mishti was left with Veer..

V: so you are the genius scientist. Everyone praised you so much. Nice to know. Heard about the patent you were working on..

M: yeah.. Still trying to solve some problems..

V: cool.. work on it. You are an asset to VR for sure. 

M: I work for my satisfaction by the way. I love my research.

V: I know. You told me and I love passionate people too.. so all the best.  You can go and do what you love the most..

M: what?

V: your love.. your work..

Mishti smiled... bye and she turned

M:  Can I request you something. ?

V: Request and Mishti.. not going hand in hand.. he smirked with a smile

She raised her eyebrow..

M: shut up Veer and listen to me. (and for the first time he felt something seeing her showing rights on him)

V: ok tell me

M: please make sure that here no one gets to know about "us" .. 

V: about us. Means? he smirked (He did ask intentionally without understanding why he did that..)

M: that I am your Wife.. That us..

Veer smiled...

V: o. ok.. that us.. don't worry it's a deal.. one more.. he smiled and I too don't prefer to mix my personal life with professional life..so no one will know here that you are my wife.

M: yeah fine... anyway I will go and finish the experiment .

V: ok. I will see you later.
