All that it takes is a lil reinvention

Jeremy's POV:

I run back to Michael, who has also finished hugging everybody. My mom walks us to the car, and we get inside.

"How was the party?" Mom asks me.
Some
"It was nice... Michael and I always have a good time!" I lean over onto him and watch him play his DS, focusing intensely on the game.

"Yeah we do, the bouncy slide was the best part!" He paused the game and looks up at me, then I take out my DS and enter our chatroom.

HeereIAm: Should I tell her? Will she act in disgust? She probably won't let us sleepover if she finds out.
MellVibes: True, keep quiet.
HeereIAm: I will. I am excited to game tonight!

Michael closes his DS, and so do I. He mists up his window and writes "Player 2" in a heart, and I write "Player 1" in my window with a heart at either side.

"Please do not do that guys, look we're home!" She unlocks the doors, and we sprint up the stairs. I win as the more athletic one from Rich always chasing me for fun last year.

"What we gonna do, while I'm with you?" He takes out some Legos, "Legos?"

"Yeah! I love to play Legos," I pour them on the floor, "don't step on them!"

So there we go, Lego by Lego building a tower to the height of my bed. It reminds me of the night Rich and I spent here in my room, building a train set complete with ramps, stations, and trains. He was shorter than the set, so I had to help him with some of it. Rich was babbling on about Jake and another girl he liked.

"Jeremy can you find another black brick? I'm so close to finished." I look over at his Lego creation and he has made a pixel heart out of red and black bricks. Gah, I love him so much.

"I made you a Lego game controller" I hold up my Legos, but then it breaks off.

"Oh no! I was going to let you k-keep it..." I start to cry. I'm so disappointed, and it's my fault for even trying to make him something he would like... Something he could keep...

"Jeremy!" He runs around the stray Legos and hugs me. "It's alright it's alright shh we can rebuild this together one Lego at a time" he wipes the tears out my eyes, hugs me, and starts to rebuild it. There is a large chunk to base it off of so he starts there.

"Is this going good so far? I don't want to disappoint you." He smiles at me.

"Yes, you're doing amazingly, and I'm sorry that you needed to even do that because this is all my fault." I grasp his hand with a smile, and he focuses on wrapping up his pixel heart so it doesn't break.

"Th-thank you for everything..." I finish the controller and we sit back on the bed.
