Chapter Three: Percy Jackson

There's commotion everywhere.

Annabeth and I were running across camp in search of our centaur activities director, Chiron.

Campers were everywhere.

The Ares cabin was rushing to get their armor and weapons, while the Aphrodite cabin was going around like news reporters asking what's going on.

"Percy!"

I could barely hear Annabeth yelling over all the chaos.

"I can hear Chiron coming!"

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, I could hear hooves coming our way.

"Campers, listen up!" Chiron's voice boomed and all voices fell silent. "I have just received an Iris-message from Clarisse. She reported that there are three travelers and at least two are armed."

Small voices ripple through the gathered demigods.

"I need Percy and Annabeth to go see if you can help them. If anything strange happens I need you to contact me immediately. They are at the east entrance to camp. Everyone else, return to your cabins. If you are needed you will be called."

Chiron turned away and the half-bloods dispersed, while Annabeth and I grabbed our bags and headed towards the location of Clarisse and the unexpected visitors.
