Chapter Five

The team traveled separatedly making their way to the home of Melissa McCall and Chris Argent. Still to their surprise after seven years neither have decided to get hitched and finally be married.

A knock at the door made Chris stand up. Opening the door he was relieved to see the BAU standing in front of him. Stiles standing in the front smirked and gave give little jazz hands. He chuckled and invited them in.

Scott rose from his seat and backed up, "why are you here?"

Noah carrying the little girl said, "Melissa invited all of us." He let the little girl down to which she ran right into Melissa's arms. The team gave the couple hugs and eventually they all sat down in weird places between the dining room and living room for dinner. Raven was constantly running around trying to talk to the pack but they just started at her in confusion questioning who she belonged to.

"Getting any closer to closing the case?" Chris questions.

"Chris!" Scott exclaims, "why are you talking to them."

"Because they're friends, practically family. You may have kicked him out of the pack but that didn't stop us from talking or seeing him in DC."

Scott's eyes widened in shock, "you went to go see him?" His eyes moved to Stiles who remained unbothered by his sudden outlash. "You were supposed to stay out of Beacon Hills."

"That raises a great question, why?" He remained silent as did everyone else. "They asked to come so I allowed it. Just a couple trips back and forth using the jet we use and they come over a couple of times each year."

"Why?"

Derek chuckles, "that's a stupid question," he mumbles.

"You, everyone in the pack, we may not be friends anymore. But these three," he motions to Noah, Melissa and Chris, "they never stopped being my family."

"You left willingly. You could have tried to stay."

"No you made me. Honestly, I have to thank you for that. I'm a BAU agent-"

"A professor in psychology."
"A great friend."
"A best little sibling."
"A great babysitter."

"And the best damn husband in the world," Lizzy concluded.

The pack looked at her warily before tuning in on Stiles. He bobbed his head to the side a couple times before shrugging. "And those things."

Lydia's mouth gapped open. "You're married?"

"Five years," they said holding up their wedding bands.

"But we've been together for six and a half."
"Remember how we met?"
"Oh god, please don't remind me."

Stiles groaned quietly. The team chuckled but stopped abruptly as Lizzy gave a short version of the story, "walking down a street in Quantico, I was walking with my computer and you were running with a coffee trying to get as fast as you could trying to get to the academy. Then, boom! Your clumsy ass ran right into me. I had to get a new computer."

"I said I was sorry."
"It was expensive."
"It was less than a hundred on eBay."
"Not the point."
"But it is the point."
"Stiles."

"Lizzy," she stopped suddenly then glared at him, "you love me."

She rolled her eyes, "sadly." Lizzy set down her plate of food as did Stiles. Raven ran into the room and toppled right on top of Stiles. They giggled as he plastered kisses all over her face. "Best father ever."

"Father?" Scott asks.

"Guys this is Raven, Lizzy and I's daughter. Raven tell them how old you are."

"I'm seven!" She shouts.

"I thought you guys only met 6 years ago?" Malia questions.

"6 and a half, yes, but when we got married we found out some saddening news. After that day we decided to adopt and when we met her we knew she'd be our little girl," Stiles wrapped his arms around her protectively and pulled her closer to him.

"Adoption is expensive," Lydia says.

"That it is but we had some help."

He looked up to Rossi who was grinning wickedly. "I'm a millionaire living in a mansion. When I got the call from Hotch I didn't think there was a better way to spend it." Lizzy stands up and climbs into Rossi's arms. "Best grandfather award goes to me."

"Try me," Chris, Noah and Hotch say instantaneously. The team erupts into a fit of giggles.

"As fun as this has been we should probably head back to the house. This one needs to sleep and we have a long day ahead of us." Before he left Stiles turned around, "I did send you guys letters here and there, not sure if you ever got them."

The pack remained shocked. When everyone had left everyone turned to Scott. Chris and Melissa went to their room while they stayed talking in the living room. "Letters?" Liam asked.

Scott rolled his eyes. "You didn't need them. Didn't need him them, don't need him now."

"That wasn't your choice to make, Scott."

The front door swung open again and two men walked through. "Derek called us, saying there was an issue and could use us," the brown hair man said.

"Issac?"

"Yeah, look Scott, I don't know what your deal is. I don't know why you kicked him out. Nobody does, we all know you made that decision on your own but you obviously said something to Lydia to make her break up with him."

"Issac-"

"No Scott," the other one said, "don't go making excuses. You may be the True Alpha but this effects everyone. Have you ever considered anyones feelings since that day?"

Jackson-" Lydia tried to intervene.

"Don't get me started, Lydia. We've been friends with him since our elementary school years. All of a sudden you want him out?"

"For your information, Stiles was always the strongest of us. He may not have our abilities but he was. He was our anchor and you ruined that."

"I'm the alpha. What I say goes."

Jackson rolls his eyes, "that's where you are wrong. An alpha confides in his pack, trusts them, talks to them. A decision isn't just based off the alpha, it's the whole pack."

"Did you guys ever get his letters?" Issac asks. They all shake their heads besides Scott's. He scoffs, "well let me tell you one thing he wrote to all of you, something he thinks about every day. When you kicked him out he went to a lake, threw your necklace into it." Lydia looks down at her feet. "After that, he prayed Alison had been here," when Scott hears her name he stands up. Jackson puts a hand in front of him. "Every day he wishes for her to come back so things like this don't happen."

"Don't speak of her-"

"Or what Scott? You've gotten so consumed by the power of the True Alpha you don't even realize the pain you cause. In fact, I think you love it." He growls. "Work your feelings out Scott, or people are going to get hurt and it's going to be because of you."

The two men leave. The pack looks to Scott with hatred aside from Lydia. "Did you hide them?"

"What?"
"The letters. From Stiles."
"Of course I did-"

"Say less," Malia and Kira grabbed what they brought. They walked to the front door before turning back. Liam and Theo follow their lead and walk out.

Lydia stayed back staring at Scott. "Was what you said to me that day true?" Scott remained quiet avoiding her. "Scott!"

"No! No, it wasn't." She looks at him sadly before standing up, "where are you going?"

"You lied to me Scott, I lost him because of you. What he has with Lizzy and their daughter. That could have been me. You lost my trust and now, I'm leaving the pack."

"Wait Lydia-"

"No! You ruined someone's happiness for your own personal gain. You think you can come back from that. You make me sick," she walks in the doorway but not before turning back, "I hope you're happy, Scott."
