Family Day

Elena POV

I quickly threw myself together with the utmost haste purely out of excitement, why am I so excited you ask? Well... today is Family Day!

It wasn't too long ago when Harry and I got back from Arendelle, but it doesn't mean that I don't miss my mom already. My aunt and uncle won't be able to make it because they have to continue ruling Arendelle and all, but I am simply more than content with seeing my mom again! I think even Harry's excited, just because he doesn't have any true family per se doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy hanging out with mine. If anything he feels more at home around my family, so of course he's excited to see my mom too!

I decided to wear a nice and simple light blue dress with some relatively poofy long sleeves. It wasn't intensely poofy, but just enough to give my arms room to breathe. It then cinched around the waist and hung to about my mid-thigh, a rather simplistic dress but it sure is pretty! I then put on my white Mary Jane's and braided my hair just as I like it before calling that more than good!

While I was getting dressed, Harry was putting on his casual look as well. He sure does like black and red together, quite a contrast from what I like but I think it's fun! He was putting on a basic black t-shirt after he had put on his black slightly worn pants and black shoes. Of course he has his black belt and his very large assortment of rings always adorning his fingers, and as the finishing touch he had laid out a rather basic but also worn red leather jacket of his. I swear he has an infinite number of black and red leather jackets, I have no clue where they all come from!

Anyway, we were both moving with quite a bit of haste since we wanna hurry up and get down to the garden where Family Day is actually being held and all, so when we both got finished getting ready at once I thought the speedy getting ready technique had worked like a charm! I was simply all smiles as I simply can't wait to see my mom again!

"Almost ready ta go love? Ye sure do look rather excited"

Harry casually spoke as he popped the collar to his jacket and looked my way, swiping his hook up and latching it onto his belt right after. I swept my braid onto my right shoulder and happily nodded before skipping on over to him,

"Mhm! I'm just happy to see my mama again that's all"

Harry chuckled a hearty chuckle and casually draped his arm around my shoulder as he does and began leading us both to the door, all while I was excitedly bubbling the entire time! Harry led us out into the hallway and locked the dorm room after us as he spoke,

"I'm sure ya are, even I'm kinda excited. Yer mom is just really pleasant, besides, she makes me feel like I'm actually kinda a part of yer family and that just feels wonderful"

Aww that is wonderful! I giggled a bit and happily leaned into Harry a bit as we started walking off towards the garden where Family Day was being held. I'm kinda interested to talk to some new people as well, some of my friend's parents that is. I know the VKs won't have any of their parents or family coming for obvious reasons but that's okay! From what I've heard, the parents of whoever is friends with the VKs are always rather happy to stick around them, for example, my mom likes to stick around Harry and hey Harry feels rather comfortable in her presence so it all works out!

I'm sure Harry would've been more than comfortable with my dad though, they are alike in a lot of different ways so that would've been fun to see. Unfortunately, that's never gonna happen..... but I'm not gonna focus on that right now! Instead, I'll just focus on being excited to see my mom of course!

We got down to the garden, decorated with fun little decorations for Family Day just as some of the family members began to arrive. All of them had a guard as an escort which I've always thought is funny, at all of these events the guards are the escorts and yet... why? It's not like there's any actual danger present or something! I've always thought it to be rather silly, but maybe that's just me!

Harry and I stood together, casually chatting and even saying hi to the other VKs as they were headed over to steal some of the food from the concessions table when no one was looking. I knew my mom was coming, so I simply waited patiently and watched other families get reunited, and that sure did put a smile on my face already!

The VKs did give me an idea though, Harry and I had a pretty small breakfast so I excused myself as he was talking to Lonnie about fencing practice and went over to the concessions to grab us some things to eat while we wait because why not? I trotted right on up to the table and stood a ways away from the older lady that was a little further down. I started making both Harry and I a small plate to share as I noticed the lady looking at me from my peripheral vision,

"Excuse me?"

The lady said after a few moments of looking at me, I looked over to her with a smile as she looked rather kind if I'm being honest! She was wearing this light pink formal long-sleeved dress that when way below the knees, giving her a comforting sort of grandmother look to her,

"Yes ma'am?"

I kindly responded. She tilted her head a bit before fully turning to me and slowly looked me up and down, I furrowed my brow ever so slightly and turned to face her,

"Are you new here Miss? I don't believe I recognize you"

The lady asked, I giggled a little bit before putting the plate down on the table for a moment to do a proper curtsy,

"I am! Princess Elena Árnadalr of Arendelle, I only started school here nearly a year ago now"

The lady hummed a bit and smiled at me a little bit too, I came back up from my curtsy and picked the plate back up as she nodded once to me and held out her hand,

"Queen Leah, it's a pleasure to meet you Elena. I will say, it is rather refreshing to meet someone your age that seems to have genuine manners"

Oh? I thought everyone here has genuine manners! I mean besides maybe Audrey and Chad of course, and maybe Jay, but I haven't met anyone else that doesn't have manners! I giggled a bit more and took her hand for a handshake, she suddenly looked down at my hand and gasped rather lightly,

"Goodness me, do you need a jacket? You're awfully cold!"

Miss Leah took my hand and covered it with both of hers, I simply giggled a bit and explained,

"Oh it's alright, I'm naturally supposed to be rather cold. It's a hundred percent normal don't worry! I just have.... powers per se and the magic in my body and system interferes with my temperature, I have to run colder to be healthy!"

Leah paused for a moment before seemingly getting a little stiffer, she slowly looked back up at me and stared for a moment before speaking,

"Did you say.... powers and magic? You mustn't mean curses or spells... correct?"

She asked with a slightly shaky tone, I giggled and quickly shook my head before casually taking my hand away from her,

"Nope! More like this!"

I simply flicked my hand up into the air, a little shot of snowflakes and flurried shot out of my hand with a light blue glow, it came back down and spiraled around my hand a bit before I simply clapped my hands to make it disperse into the air. I looked back over to Miss Leah as she stood wide-eyed,

"You mean.... snow?"

I nodded once rather enthusiastically and decided to keep my response short and sweet,

"Yup! That's my speciality!"

Queen Leah put a hand over her heart and let out what sounded like a sigh of relief, she chuckled a bit before letting her hand fall, and a smile remained on her face,

"Thank goodness, I was worried for a moment. You know, when the first batch of VKs came over I was rather concerned about the fact that one of them has abilities as well, it puts me at ease to know one of our own has abilities and could possibly protect us if need be"

I lightly furrowed my brow and sucked back a bit, what on earth could that mean? I tilted my head a bit and curiously asked,

"Do you mean Mal? She's one of my best friends! Both her and Evie are my best girl friends actually, and my boyfriend is a VK too! They're rather cool I think, once you get past the rough and tough exteriors they're all just big sweethearts! Well, except for Jay, he just seems to be a little on the different side for some reason"

I happily explained, Miss Leah seemed rather taken aback at first and took a few solid moments to process before humming a bit,

"Well well, who knew? I was sure they would've nearly burned the place down by now, so one of them is your boyfriend hm?"

I couldn't help but blush a bit and giggled a rather profuse amount, I mean how can't I? The mere mention of him makes me so happy I can't help it! I nodded and looked over to Harry as Lonnie jumped around doing different fencing moves and such with a make-believe sword as Harry simply watched with furrowed brows, she's probably teaching him a move combination for the next practice! She does that rather often, Harry says he rarely retains any of the information but still manages to nail it,

"Yeah... that's him right over there! His name is Harry, Harry Hook. He may look super intimidating but between you and me he is an absolute lovebug! He's the sweetest guy I've ever met, and he may have his rough edges but I rarely even see them anymore since he's worked so hard on himself for the past few months. He's not the same guy from the Isle, that's for sure!"

Queen Leah narrowed her eyes a bit as she looked over at Harry who proceeded to attempt to mimic what Lonnie was doing, she tilted her head a bit in confusion which led me to verify,

"He's in the fencing team, he's learning a move combination from Lonnie at the moment"

Queen Leah nodded a bit as she understood and looked back over to me with a smile,

"Well, as long as they are being orderly I guess I can't be mad at them. I was rather skeptical about this whole bringing villain kids over from the Isle thing and I still am, but if everything is going smoothly then I won't be too picky I guess"

Well that's good! At least she isn't as on edge as she seemed to be about them before, I'm glad I could help with that! I smiled rather brightly and glanced back on over to Harry to watch him do a quick scan of the main crowd before his eyes seemed to lock on me, and only then did an actual smile spread on his face. I giggled and waved at him a bit and he simply did the same as I looked back over to Miss Leah,

"I outta be going, Harry's waiting on me for an actual breakfast"

I said as I motioned down to the plate, Miss Leah chuckled a bit and nodded to me,

"Then I won't keep you any longer, it was a pleasure Miss Elena"

"It was a pleasure indeed, Queen Leah!"

I happily responded rather quickly before doing a speedy curtsy, I then quickly walked back on over to Harry with breakfast which he immediately seemed to be eyeing. Lonnie was still doing some fencing moves, but Harry had stopped listening as I trotted on over and he immediately snatched a strip of bacon from the plate and began snacking on it,

"Thank ya my love, this is much needed eh?"

I giggled a bit and immediately stole one of the two cinnamon rolls off the plate and began snacking on that as I watched Lonnie do a few more rather impressive moves,

"Oh yeah, sorry I took a minute though. I met this wonderful lady by the food table!"

I happily chirped in between bites, Harry chuckled and stared at me for a long while before chuckling some more,

"I think ye may be one of the most extraverted people I know, yer extraordinary at making friends with literally everyone that ya talk to eh?"

I giggled a bit and shrugged, I've never really thought of myself as an extravert per se but I sure do love making friends! So maybe I am, regardless I simply love making friends. Harry and I kept on with our casual conversations and had a few chats with whoever passed by, all as we finished up our breakfast and continued to wait for my mom. I'm not put off by the wait whatsoever, Arendelle is a far way away after all!

It had been an hour or so, Harry and I were having a proper laugh about one of the inside jokes we've formed when he suddenly seemed to perk up a bit. He narrowed his eyes at something right past me before lighting up and nudging me a bit,

"I believe ye have someone waiting ta see ya~"

Harry sang, I turned around and standing just a few feet behind me was my mom! I absolutely lit up and couldn't help but squeal a bit as she opened her arms, I ran from Harry and jumped right into her a bit with joy,

"Mama!"

I couldn't help but squeal, I mean come on! I'm always excited to see my mom! My mom laughed a considerable amount and lovingly gave me a good squeeze,

"Oh hello honey, I missed you too!"

Mama said with a laugh, I giggled a bit as she parted from the hug just enough to open one of her arms and look over my head,

"Come on over Harry"

She said with a laugh, I looked back and saw Harry suddenly light up in a smile, he quickly made his way over and joined as a group hug which he thoroughly seemed to enjoy,

"Thank ya Miss Árnadalr"

Harry quickly said right before the hug ended, allowing us all to kinda step back a bit while staying rather close. My mom playfully rolled her eyes and scoffed,

"Oh you're more than fine Harry, don't even worry about it! Goodness me though, it is warm here! How on earth do you manage Elle?"

My mom joked right off the bat as she fanned herself off some. I giggled before shrugging a bit,

"Acclimation I guess? Oh! I want you to meet my other friends!"

I grabbed my mom's hand with one of mine and grabbed Harry's with my other before quickly tugging them both along to where the VKs were sitting, of course they were sitting all together as always. I heard Harry chuckle a bit as he widened his stride a bit to walk up to my side while my mom had to jog to catch up with me, but by then we were already there! The VKs perked up at my presence as I slipped away from Harry for a moment, they all looked up and stood from their places so they could formally meet her,

"Hey guys! I just wanted to introduce you to my mom! Mama, this is Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay!"

I pointed to every person as I said their name, but I quickly noticed how all of them looked rather taken aback. My mom smiled at them all and nodded once,

"It's a pleasure, I've heard many good things about each of you"

Mal slowly blinked and looked over to Evie specifically as even she looked a little taken aback, she began looking between both my mom and I with a furrowed brow,

"Tell me I'm not the only one seeing this"

Mal muttered, Evie simply slowly shook her head and tilted it a bit,

"No.... I think we all see it"

She muttered back, I furrowed my brow a bit and tilted my head a bit in unison with my mom, making Mal quickly smile and chuckle a bit,

"It's just... you two look extremely similar"

Mal quickly clarified, Evie giggled a bit as Carlos spoke,

"I thought I was seeing double until I noticed the height difference"

Both my mom and I had a good laugh about that, Harry stepped forward a bit and nodded,

"I had the same thought when I saw the two of them side by side for the first time, yer not the only ones"

I looked over to Harry with a bright smile and continued to uncontrollably giggle. For a while we just took the time to chat as a group, my mom being as amazing as she is made the VKs feel a lot more comfortable for sure. She's just like that!

We talked for a rather long time, eventually it went to just being Harry, my mom, and I because the other VKs were called somewhere by Ben. And that was alright with me, it was very pleasant that was for sure! Now Family Day was in full swing, simply about taking a day to spend quality time with family rather than anything else, and that was more than fine with me! It was all going rather smoothly for the longest time, but slowly I began to feel a weird feeling of dread....

Third Person

Elena ignored that feeling for now, she instead distracted herself by the pleasant conversation she was having with her mom and with Harry, she enjoyed it all very much. She always felt so much closer to being complete when she was around her people, so of course she absolutely blossomed the more they talked. Her extraverted side really came out the more she was able to be around her people, for a few hours of doing a few activities and even just talking, it was simply wonderful for her and even for Harry. He was able to come out of his shell some more, feeling safe in the environment created he actually let some of his real self show.

In the late afternoon or so, everyone was getting rather tired which meant it was time for another round of food before the day was done, but more importantly, the rather heat sensitive Elsa was in a bit of a need for something to help her stay a bit cooler,

"Goodness, I am simply not acclimating well to the heat here. Is it always like this?"

Elena peered over to her mom after she had been joking with Harry about a few things and simply shrugged for a moment,

"It can be, do you need anything mama?"

Elena kindly asked, her mom quickly nodded some as she fanned her face and began rapidly flicking herself in the face with cold blasts. Elsa chuckled a bit and sighed,

"A water would be wonderful if you don't mind?"

Elena nodded once and slowly slipped her arm away from Harry who had been very happily holding it for some time now. Elena looked up at Harry for a moment for a simple smile before looking back over to her mom,

"I'll go get some water then, I won't be a minute!"

Elena happily spoke to her mother who graciously nodded once before turning her attention back over to Harry for a pleasant conversation while Elena quickly skipped off over to the refreshments table. She looked around curiously at the rest of the families as she did, frowning ever so slightly as she saw full families of any sort. It simply made her miss her dad, but she shook it off and grabbed the blue and silver pendant he had gotten for her and felt better about it all almost immediately.

She made her way over to the refreshments table and grabbed a cup from the end before walking a little way down to the water dispenser, but had to wait in a bit of a line which didn't faze her. A few minutes went by before she could get the water, and just as she was about to she was forced to pause by someone casually putting their hand over the lever to the dispenser,

"Elena! What's up girl?"

Elena looked up and furrowed her brow a bit, for Audrey was certainly not the type to ask her how she was. Elena tilted her head a bit and awkwardly looked around a bit,

"Uh... not much, you?"

Elena forced herself to respond. Audrey leaned a bit more into Elena's space, causing Elena to casually shift her weight back. Audrey seemed rather cheery to respond to Elena, further fueling her confusion,

"Oh nothing... just got to meet your mother though, she seems awfully nice! You two look.... so similar"

Audrey said with a gritted teeth smile, Elena tensed up a bit and played it off with a giggle,

"She is very kind indeed, and the only thing that truly differs is our eye color and height. She likes to say I have my dads eyes"

Elena easily responded without much thought, Audrey moved her hand from the lever to the dispenser which allowed Elena to finally get the water,

"Speaking of your dad... I haven't run into him yet? Is he here?"

Elena tensed up and bit the inside of her cheek, she abruptly stopped filling the cup and casually looked away from Audrey to answer,

"No"

That was all Elena could say, Audrey tilted her head a bit and narrowed her eyes deviously as she noticed Elena's sudden behavior change. For the first time, Audrey made Elena uncomfortable, feel more closed off, and most importantly, vulnerable. Audrey internally smirked a bit while on the outside she simply let out a sad hum,

"Oh... well that's unfortunate. Couldn't make it or... didn't feel like coming to see you?"

Elena bit her tongue for a moment, looking back over to Audrey in slight shock as she wasn't expecting that by any means. Audrey became more and more intrigued the longer Elena held silence for, internally her smirk was only widening as she believed she had finally found the girl's weakness,

"Couldn't make it..... if he could he would've"

Elena suddenly answered, and she wasn't exactly lying either. Audrey chuckled a bit, putting Elena off even more than before,

"What's s-so funny?"

Elena asked with a rather defensive tone. Audrey put her hands up as if she was surrendering and chuckled a bit more,

"I just can't imagine what would be more important than his daughter, he must really be putting so much effort into being with you when he can huh?"

Audrey sarcastically joked. Elena bit her tongue again, fearing that telling Audrey the truth about her father that it'll only make her bullying worse she simply shrugged for a moment, planning on ignoring Audrey until she started up again,

"Nothing? Oh man, you know at least I know why my parents aren't here! My grandma came to visit me instead, but my mom and dad are both looking after my home kingdom together and sent me an entire letter talking about how they'll make not being able to show up to me. You don't even know... what a shame!"

Audrey chirped a little too happily for Elena, for she knew all too well why her dad couldn't come to family day. Elena looked down at her feet for a moment before suddenly looking Audrey dead in the eyes, at a bit of a breaking point for her already,

"My dad passed away okay? He was.... killed a few years ago, just drop the whole thing for once Audrey"

Elena said in a pained, angry, and sad tone. Audrey suddenly sucked back as Elena turned on her heels and simply began walking off, but was brought to an abrupt halt as she suddenly heard Audrey burst out into.... laughter,

"Oh wow! That's all you could come up with? What a sorry excuse for your dad not showing up, so dramatic too! As if, that sort of thing doesn't even happen!"

Elena heard those words echo over and over in her head, she felt an uncomfortable shiver run up her spine as tears began to well up in her eyes no matter how much she tried to ease her own worries. She slowly turned around and looked at Audrey who was laughing so hysterically, others were beginning to stop and stare at her,

"B-But I'm not lying Audrey... why on earth would I lie about that?"

Elena genuinely asked, feeling her internal tension begin to rise to an unwanted level. She felt a shiver run down her spine, so instinctively she held her hands carefully in front of her as she began to lightly shake the cup of water long forgotten already,

"Oh it's simple, to fuel that everlasting popularity of course. Who doesn't love feeling bad for a sad, fatherless princess who is nothing but naive and clueless?"

Elena winced a bit at the word "fatherless", feeling even shakier than before. She began to speak in an attempt to defend herself but quickly realized that she had to pause,

"Audrey... come on! You know what? Never mind... it's not worth it anyway"

Elena wearily looked around and stopped as she noticed a light flurry falling around her. So Elena turned back around and began walking away, only for Audrey to shout after her,

"Oh yeah, just blow it off and act like it's nothing when it's something. The perfect way to make everyone feel bad for you! I bet you thrive from that sort of thing"

Elena winced a bit more, whimpering as she held herself back as hard as she could. She'd never felt so much magic being pent up in her life. It was like trying to rein back an entire herd of galloping thoroughbreds, so slowly crossing her arms to hold herself was the next thing she felt she had to do to keep her emotional outburst at bay,

"Audrey.... my dad passed away protecting me, please just.... leave it alone?"

Elena said as she turned her head to Audrey once more before trying to walk away again, only for Audrey to begin following her, barking at her the whole way. As she did, a sort of crowd began turning and watching the scene, everyone watched in great interest as their stares only made the girls fear increase,

"Protecting you? Oh my, now you're just making up an entire plotline for yourself! And let me guess, now you want to enact revenge on whoever did it huh?"

Immediately taken aback by such an idea, Elena paused and whipped her head around in shock at the mere thought of hurting someone on purpose. Not to mention, holding back her raging magic was beginning to cause internal pain for her,

"O-Of course not! I-It's a sensitive topic Audrey, please just let it go!"

Elena began to plead, Audrey scoffed and continued to advance towards her. Elena backed up a bit, feeling threatened the wind began to pick up to Elena's distaste,

"Yeah right, I've finally found your dirty little secret and you want me to let it go?"

The wind picked up even more and now Elena noticed that. She looked around a bit, noticing the flurries and the wind she knew the next thing to go would be the ground shaking. So she forced herself to walk away now, not even towards her mom or Harry, she just wanted to get away. However, she felt like she was being pulled right back into the heat of the conversation when Audrey shouted,

"Admit it Elena, your dad just didn't want to take the time to come see you! Who am I kidding, if I were him neither would I"

Suddenly Elena felt the earth rumble a bit, she looked down at her feet and stopped walking, Audrey continued to slowly stalk up behind her with a satisfied smirk on her face,

"T-That's enough Audrey"

Elena said, beginning to fear what was building up inside her. Fearing the worst only made the build-up worse, so Elena felt a violent shiver run right up her spine. Tightly wrapped her arms around herself, it was like she was trying to hold herself together by the moment. She didn't even notice her mother and Harry staring at her in great concern as they watched Audrey gawk at her as Elena had closed her eyes in an attempt to focus on staying calm. Harry began trying to move through the crowd that had formed around the two girls due to the scene, but Elena was already at a dangerous level when it came to fear, pain, sadness, and pure grief,

"I can't believe it honestly, how could I have been so blind? I mean something is obviously wrong with everyone, but gods I should've thought about this for you!"

Audrey shouted out, not caring about who heard and not listening to Elena's plea to leave everything be and to call it quits. The flurrying worsened, the wind picked up even more. Elena winced in pain as it began to feel like a stabbing sensation in her chest as she tried to desperately to hold her internal rage and pain in. But the storm inside continued to rage worse and worse, and Elena was panicking as she didn't exactly know how to stop it now,

"Perfect life, perfect boyfriend, perfect everything, of course you have to have daddy issues it all makes sense! Honestly, and to think you wanted to get away with saying that he's dead, what a joke!"

Audrey continued, but she had already crossed the line. The words "what a joke" rang in her ears as she felt the magic become simply too much to bear along with the amounting pain and fear that came along with it. Harry, followed by Elsa had just made it to the front of the crowd when Elena couldn't help but snap,

"I said that was ENOUGH!"

Elena shakily shouted as she swiftly turned around, throwing her hands out to her sides in frustration she accidentally sparked something big. A line of ice suddenly appeared on the ground in front of her and within milliseconds multiple massive spikes shot out at Audrey and as a barricade for Elena, not before the ground violently shook for a moment which knocked Audrey off balance and caused her to fall with a shriek. The wind then increased dramatically and forced Audrey to fly back, she shrieked even more as the spikes shot themselves right at her and just barely missed her. The sharp sound of the ice echoed through the air as it stilled, it had all happened in mere seconds and only a moment after the sudden relieving release of so much pent-up magic did Elena realize what she had accidentally done.

The crowd was absolutely silent for a moment, in shock, even the members of authority didn't know what to do. For a few seconds, everything was completely still. The air was deadly calm, the earth was steady, not even a gust of wind could be felt, all because the person who could influence all of it was stuck in shock.

Elena looked on in absolute terror, Audrey had sprung into tears of fear and most everyone had backed up and even shrieked in horror themselves now that the shock was wearing off. Audrey rapidly backed up on the ground and looked in absolute terror at the ice spikes that had come within inches of striking her. Then she could barely fathom how a violent shake in the ground was what knocked her off balance and the wind is what threw her back, she rapidly tried to catch her breath as whispers from the crowd were all anyone could hear.

Elena's eyes were wide with terror of what she had just done, accident or not. She shakily looked down at her hands before looking back out at the massive spikes she had created whether she had tried to or not. She began slowly backing away, her ears ringing as Harry tried to get her attention simply by gently calling to her, even her own mother's voice couldn't get through the ringing. They called out to her as calmly as they could, but it was as if she couldn't even hear them. Elena slowly began looking around, noticing how everyone stepped back or winced if she even looked at them, she attempted to speak,

"I-I..... I d-didn't......... I-I didn't m-mean t-to do t-that...."

Elena shakily spoke with a cracking voice, but no one seemed to hear her. Chad ran over to Audrey to play the knight in shining armor role for her, helping her off the ground and helping her stay standing as Audrey locked eyes with Elena again, but now Audrey looked nothing but angry while Elena was still utterly petrified,

"Y-You..... could have killed me! How d-dare you, you know damn well what you were doing I bet! Shame on me for trying to have a normal conversation with you, freak!"

Elena's eyes widened as tears of fear and pain began streaming down her cheeks, she winced at the harsh name Audrey called her and backed away a little bit more,

"B-But I didn't m-mean to! I-I swear it w-was an a-accident!"

Elena shouted with a broken voice, but her shout only made a few step further away from her in fear of her. Her breathing became rapid and unsteady, she began to tremble a bit more as tears burned her eyes, and right from then she realized she was right on the verge of having an awful panic attack,

"Accident?! You could've killed me, you witch! You can't even control yourself, can you? That was anything but an accident! I know you've always felt threatened by me but t-to think you'd stoop s-so low!"

Audrey shouted right back, Chad playing the knight in shining armor part tremendously well as he held Audrey and stood in front of her as if he was protecting Audrey from anything more Elena could do. As the wind picked up a little bit again, Elena suddenly began looking around all over the place, she felt like she was trapped by people staring at her in fear. Not noticing Harry slowly trying to walk over to her to help her, she looked to the forest and looked back,

"I-I didn't m-mean to....... I s-swear I didn't m-mean to! I-I s-swear I-I'm s-sorry!"

Elena shouted in her shaky, cracking voice before looking back to the forest as her only way out of this more than scary situation. Petrified, scared, upset, and on the verge of a massive panic, Elena suddenly bolted. Seeing no other way out, she ran right towards the forest behind Auradon Prep and didn't stop, even if there were at least two people who didn't want her to run at all,

"Elena!"

Harry shouted, he'd been trying to get her attention the whole time and yet it was like she couldn't even hear him. She was so scared she was blocking out the entire world around her, in fear of getting in trouble or making anything worse she didn't stop running, not even when her mother called out for her,

"Elena come back!"

Her white hair quickly disappeared behind the dense trees and foliage, the sounds of her crying slowly faded, and the crowd seemed to ease but the wind only picked up more. Elsa quickly looked up at the sky and looked on in slight fear as she slowly saw storm clouds rolling in. She shivered a bit and quickly looked over to Audrey,

"What on earth did you do?!"

Elsa shouted at the girl, Audrey looked at her in horror as she pretended to wipe tears that weren't even there. The crowd gasped at the roaring voice of the girl's mother as Harry jogged to the edge of the forest to see if he could even see Elena anymore,

"M-Me? What about her?! She n-nearly t-took my head off!"

Elsa gritted her teeth and looked at the spikes before simply waving her hand in a circular motion around it, to everyone's awe the ice spikes simply melted away into snowflakes which spun right around Elsa before flying off, the evidence of Elena's meltdown gone with the wind. Elsa marched towards the girl as she spoke,

"I know, I saw it. My little girl has more control than even I do, so I will ask you again young lady, what. did. you. do?"

Harry slowly shook his head and looked on in more than enough worry, for Elena seemed to be long gone. The wind still had strong gusts and the storm clouds still ominously rolled in as he shouted her name into the forest again, but alas all he got was the echoes of his own voice ringing back to him. Filled with fear for her safety, Harry looked around to see if anyone was watching him before deciding to go in after Elena, approaching the forest with caution so when he could find Elena he wouldn't scare her.

Meanwhile, Audrey continued to attempt to defend herself against the raging mother who was desperate to know what exactly caused such an intense reaction from her normally calm and kind daughter,

"I-I was just talking to her!"

Audrey shrieked as she wiped her eyes, but Elsa only pressed her further,

"About what? What did you say that provoked that?!"

Elsa shouted again, Audrey's grandmother Queen Leah quickly made her way over to the scene and looked with wide eyes,

"What on earth is going on over here?"

She calmly asked, Elsa looked over to the Queen and took a deep sigh to calm herself before speaking,

"This young lady somehow provoked my daughter to the point of nearly hurting someone. When I say that has never happened before I mean it, the only other time she's lost it to that extent was when her father passed away and now if I don't learn why she just broke down and ran into the woods all of Auradon could have a severe problem within the next hour"

Elsa spoke with the utmost stern and serious tone. Audrey suddenly grew pale, though she did want to finally get under Elena's skin now that she had the chance she genuinely thought she was lying about her father being dead. Queen Leah put her hands on her hips and looked over to Audrey as Ben and Mal hurried their way over to the scene. Having been in the other courtyard, only now did the King and the VKs hear about the event that had just unfolded,

"Audrey, what did you start this time?"

Elsa's eyes widened a bit as they shot over to Audrey, having recognized the name from some of Elena's letters and stories talking about how awful Audrey always had been towards her,

"So you're Audrey, and to think I just had a normal conversation with you right over there and you're the one my daughter keeps writing me about? About how awful you are to her for no reason? And now you want to play the victim when in reality you just caused something horrible?!"

Ben with Mal following close behind ran over to the scene to prevent any possible fights from breaking out, the King immediately took charge once he got there,

"Hold on everyone, what's going on over here?"

He calmly asked, but Queen Leah ignored his question for now and looked from Elsa over to Audrey,

"You've been bullying that nice girl? Audrey, where on earth are your manners? She's an absolute delight and you think it's proper to be rude to her?"

Elsa crossed her arms and looked up at the sky full of worry as it slowly grew darker, the wind continued to have violent gusts to it as Elsa looked back down at Audrey,

"Not to mention it affects her more than the normal person, now can you finally tell me what you were talking to her about before all of this happened so I can go run into the woods myself and stop something awful from happening?"

Elsa said in a desperate rush. Audrey leaned on Chad some more and gritted her teeth for a moment before rolling her eyes,

"I just asked her where her dad was, but of course she had to go off and make a big deal out of it. Not my fault I didn't think he was actually dead or something, not my fault for calling her out for lying even if it wasn't a lie. I was just trying to be helpful, gods"

Audrey quietly muttered with a light groan, but with Elsa's keen hearing she heard her loud and clear. No one else seemed to have gotten it, but as Elsa's eyes widened in shock and horror she looked up at the sky and realized the magnitude of what this could be if she didn't get to Elena in time,

"How..... dare you! She's still grieving over him and you have the audacity to tell her she's lying?! I have to find her, everyone get inside and find shelter now, we may have a rather big storm coming!"

Elsa shouted at Audrey before seamlessly looking up at everyone and shouting at them. She glanced up as the clouds slowly covered the sun, making everything a lot darker than before. Right before Elsa went to run off on her own, Ben stopped her,

"Hold on, Elena ran away? And what does that have to do with a storm?"

The rest of the VKs stood behind Ben and Mal, carefully listening as Elsa took a deep sigh and slowly shook her head. They were all concerned about their friend of course and really wanted to listen to how they could help her out,

"She.... She has a very heavy influence over the earth itself. If she's upset, sad, angry, or worst of all, scared, nature itself will attempt to protect her. As some of the closest family friends of ours have said.... she's more magic than mortal, so even if she doesn't mean it..."

Elsa looked up before pointing up at the darkening sky, everyone looked up and seemed to be taken aback by the storm by itself,

"... she could cause something possibly dangerous, King Ben, get your people inside and safe now before it gets too bad. I'll try to get to her as fast as I can to help her calm down, but until then this is only going to get worse"

Elsa explained in a hurry, she turned back around and scanned the area to look for Harry, she wanted him to come with her and help find Elena but he was nowhere to be seen,

"Now where did that boy go?"

Elsa muttered to herself, Mal stepped forward and quickly got Elsa's attention by flagging her down,

"Miss Árnadalr, I believe I saw Harry run off into the forest a few minutes ago if that's who you're looking for"

Elsa looked at Mal for a moment before going slightly stiff, realizing that when she had her back turned Harry had already run off to find Elena. She thought she should've expected such a thing from the boy, but she hadn't predicted that he would run off so soon. She suddenly got worried, so she simply turned and ran into the forest next hoping that she would find Elena first for Harry's sake, for not even she could predict what could happen when it came to calming Elena down.

Elsa knew Harry could calm Elena down from most panics, but she knew the severity of this one was far different than anything he might have seen from her so far, so she wanted to get to Elena first so if Elena were to lose it for a moment again, at least Elsa would be immune to it. Harry however, would not.

Elena huffed and puffed before falling onto a tree to lean on and could finally catch her breath, choking on sobs she ran her hands through her newly loosened hair and began stumbling forward a bit more.

The panic continued to spin around in her head, flurries that were beginning to look like a steady snowfall still fell all around her as she shivered and shook purely out of fear. She felt absolutely awful, she never means to hurt anyone even if they are cruel to her, so even nearly hurting Audrey shook her up.

Not to mention the names spiraling around in her head. Freak, monster, even the name witch spiraled around in her brain as she could only imagine how angry everyone could be at her for losing it, how much trouble she could possibly be in, and how disappointed her mom and maybe even Harry may be in her. The cramp-like feeling began to develop in her chest again, indicating her magic was too riled up for her own good. That's why she had run out here after all, to protect other people, especially the ones that she loves, from herself.

So Elena, heavily sobbing and sulking as she shivered in fear of her own self, tried to contain the rest of her intense magic which continued to spiral around, all as she slowly sunk down and hid herself amongst the brush as if she simply wanted to melt away.

Hiya! I'm back with a mega upload I know XD I feel much better than I did a few days ago, thank you all for your love and support it truly means a lot <3 I've just been taking everything slow and steady in order to give myself time to grieve, but I simply missed writing way too much to not publish something XD

And wowie, what a chapter to come back to eh? XD

Yup, Elena lost it, who wouldn't? Audrey is beyond antagonizing, she kinda deserves it XD Not to mention I actually feel super bad for Elena, I mean come on that was just plain cruel...... and I'm the author and I could've changed it I know but where's the fun in that?? XD

What did you think about this chapter? Were you expecting this sort of thing to come from it? And of course, how on earth do you think we're gonna fix this? I would love to hear any and all thoughts you all have :D
