~2 Tons of Metal and Blood Curry~

I nod to myself, a slight smile gracing my features. "Yeah. See you tomorrow."

(Y/n)'s POV

I wake up to a loud voice calling us into action. Apparently, training is starting in half-an-hour and we have to be there, ready to train until we pass out.

I groan due to exhaustion and pull myself out of my comfortable cot on the floor. Everyone changes into their U.A training clothes, the classic blue and white colors, and soon we head outside.

Aizawa explains that this camp is to improve our physical strength, and he has Bakugou throw a ball, like everyone else did in the Quirk test at the beginning of the year. Everyone mumbles about how far it will go.

Bakugou throws the ball while yelling. "Go to hell!"

The ball lands at 709.2 meters, only 4 meters more than three months ago at the beginning of the year.

Even I'm surprised by the lack of distance.

Aizawa continues explaining that the improvements we've made so far in the year have mostly been mental, technical, and stamina-based. This training camp is supposed to help us improve our Quirk and overall strength.

"It'll be so hard, you'll feel like dying, but try not to actually die." Aizawa says with one of his 'smiles'.

We all start working after Aizawa or one of the Pussycats explain to us what we have to do and why it will help our Quirk.

Almost half of the class has started training when Aizawa comes up to me. "You'll be there, near Kaminari at that hill. There's almost 2 tons of metal at the top, and you're going to lift all of it at once while continuously making shapes out of it."

I feel surprise lace itself into my voice. "2 tons?!"

He nods. "Yep. Now go."

I sigh and begin making my way towards the hill. "Move it, kid! We don't have all day!" Aizawa yells after me and I begin to jog up the hill.

Kaminari stands at another hill while getting electrocuted. Or maybe he's the one electrocuting? I can't even tell.

I stand in front of the metal and look over it. After taking a deep breath and prepping myself, I concentrate on lifting the mass of metal.

Sweat drips down my brow as I strain to move the thing even a little; however, soon I see the metal tremble as it begins to lift up a few centimeters off the ground.

"Damnit!" I hear Bakugou yell from the ground as he lets out another huge explosion.

"YEEEEET!!" I shout out, inspired by Bakugou's screams. The metal lifts to about my height, and I move myself under the metal to get a better position on it.

I focus on a shape, a simple cube, and I begin to concentrate on the particles of the metal; it quivers before reshaping into a cube. I concentrate again and begin to transform it into a sphere.

It moves again and I continue the exhausting process until the sun begins to go down, when we're told we can leave to eat dinner.

I place the 2 tons of metal down carefully after shaping it into a cube once again.

Everyone begins dragging themselves over to the dining area.

I catch up with them as the Pussycats are explaining that yesterday was the only day they would make food for us, and now we need to cook our own curry.

I sigh, but smile at the chance to cook. I often liked cooking back home, so maybe I can be useful here.

"Todoroki! Can you light this fire for us?" Someone calls out and he complies.

Yao-momo is lighting fires of her own and the entire class is doing something to make the dish complete.

I walk over to where everyone is chopping vegetables.

I grab a knife and begin steadily cutting some carrots. Someone bumps into my back and the knife slips forward, cutting open my thumb. "Ah!" I yelp in pain as thick red blood oozes out of the wound.

I sigh and look around for a first-aid kit when something pops back into my head.

Now would be the time, wouldn't it? This camp is for evolving our Quirks...

I hold my bleeding thumb in my hand, trying to keep the blood from spilling anywhere.

I run off into a secluded clearing in the woods where I won't be bothered.

My Quirk is metal bending. Blood contains iron, which is a metal. So, theoretically, I should be able to use my Quirk to bend blood as well...

This actually occurred to me a while ago on a sleepless night after I discovered my Quirk, but I've been avoiding the thought as it is dangerous and could be painful to the victim.

An open wound, however, means blood, and if I'm ever going to try this, I'm going to need to do it now.

I look at the pool of blood gathered in my closed palm and I focus on any traces of metal in it.

Nothing happens.

I take a deep breath and keep trying. The pool quivers.

"Yes!" I gasp, happy there's a result, even if it is small.

I focus again and the blood rises out of my palm and forms a sphere in the air above my hand.

I did it!

This also means I could probably bend blood inside the body...

My concentration breaks at the fear of hurting someone, and the sphere falls onto the ground.

I glance at my thumb to see the wound has already stopped bleeding.

The fallen blood on the ground stares back at me and I look back at my hand.

I take a deep breath and restore my focus, this time it's directed on the blood inside my hands, flowing through my veins and heart; I can almost picture it.

My hand goes limp. I direct it to move up, and it does so without my muscles trying.

It's pulled by the blood inside of it. It also doesn't hurt, it just isn't able to be controlled by my own body, just my Quirk.

"I guess that means it's official." I mutter to myself. "I can manipulate blood."

After grabbing a band-aid from a first aid kit in the nurse's office, I head back to the cooking and dining area to continue helping out.

Luckily, no one asks any questions and I resume cutting the vegetables.

A while later, we finish preparing the food and now we can eat! Everyone eats as much of the sub-par curry as they can before we're stuffed. I see Izuku go towards where Kota is walking off into the woods while carrying a bowl of curry.

They're almost like brothers...

I finish eating my dish and wash my bowl before heading off towards the girl's room. Ever since I blood bended, I've felt so tired... I wonder if that's a side effect or if it's just from training.

As soon as my head hits my pillow, I pass out and before I know it, we're being called to train early in the morning again.

Luckily Kirishima and I passed our exam against Cementoss, otherwise we'd be up at 2am training with the other's who had failed!

As we continue training, this time I'm working on my resistance to heat so I don't pass out due to heat exhaustion, Aizawa tells Midoriya that All Might and the other pros won't be coming, especially since we don't want the League to find out where we are.

Images from the show's future flash through my mind and I stop training. Does the League know where we are? Are they still coming? Is... Is someone still going to get hurt?

"(Y/n)?" I feel a tap at my shoulder. "Are you alright? You look very pale and you've stopped moving." Kirishima asks from beside me.

I plaster on a nervous smile and wave my hands out in front of me. "No, no, I'm fine! Just tire-"

"And by the way, we'll be having a test of courage with the classes pitted against each other tonight!" One of the Pussy Cats say.

I feel all color drain from my face and my eyes desperately search for someone's gaze. Dark eyes meet my wide ones. "The test of courage..." I mumble under my breath.

This is where it started.

"Aizawa!" I call as I run towards my 'uncle'. "Aizawa, there's something I should tell you..." I say as I pant from my short run.

"What is it? And if this is just a ruse to get out of training..." He says with an intimidating stare.

I shake my head. "It's not. It's about what happens. I... I think I know what happens."

He studies my concerned face for a few moments before nodding solemnly. "Fine. Let's talk somewhere more private."

I nod briefly and follow him to the building.

"Hey, where's Mr. Aizawa going?" I hear Uraraka ask faintly.

"I'm not sure... Must be something important." One of the Pussy Cats responds.

I feel eyes on the back of me, and when I turn around I'm met with green emerald eyes surrounded by freckles. He blushes and goes back to his training.

I turn back to follow Aizawa into the house.

"So what is it? What's so important?" He asks once we're sat down in a little office.

I take a deep breath. "I haven't said much about the events that have been happening... but this time.... I can't just stand by and watch everyone get hurt!" I say loudly.

He narrows his eyes. "Calm down, this office isn't soundproof or anything. Who gets hurt?"

"...I... I don't even know how to explain it."

He takes a long sip from his yellow coffee mug. "Start at the beginning."

"The League of Villains will come here. They have a team of... um... ten, I think, powerful villains coming."

His eyes widen. "What? But how? Nobody is supposed to know where we are!"

"I don't know. It still hasn't been revealed. I don't want to cause panic, but most likely there is a traitor of U.A. There are plenty of theories, but nothing has been exposed yet." I explain while fiddling with my fingers.

"Why do they come here?"

"For Bakugou. As well as a few others, but mostly him. They believe they can turn him to a villain."

Aizawa stays silent for a few moments before asking quietly, "Do they succeed?"

I shake my head, making my hair bounce slightly. "No. He tells them to go play in traffic." Aizawa chuckles slightly. "But they kidnap him. And they go after Tokoyami as well. And people get hurt... so many people get hurt..." I trail off, thinking about how destroyed Izuku's arms were, how Jirou and Hagakure weren't even awake for a few days... It seems like a good fight scene when watching the show, but actually being here is so terrifying. I know these people, I've laughed and cried with some of them. What if someone dies? What if it's my fault?

"What can we do?" Aizawa asks, completely serious.

I take a deep breath. "I don't want to say too much, especially since there is a chance I may be wrong and if we prepare a certain way, it may make matters worse. But for the time being... We should implement gas masks for everyone and make sure everyone is well fed and rested in case battle can't be avoided. I hate to say it, but cancel the test of courage and be prepared to call for backup quickly. I would love to be wrong about this... but I'm just not sure how it will play out. I would rather have preparation for nothing than risk someone getting hurt."

Aizawa nods. "I see... and the students?"

"Maybe... keep us in a safe room? Make sure Bakugou especially is protected. And tell them it's weather that cancels the test of courage." I finish.

He looks into his empty mug. "Okay. I trust you. Is there anything else we might need to know?"

I pause and think, racking my brain for as much information I may have missed. "I don't think so."

"You had better make sure. We'll start preparing. Where do we get gas masks on such short notice?"

"It may be risky to involve a student, but Yaoyorozu should be able to make them with her Quirk. You could tell her it's for emergency supplies that the building needs and will earn her extra credit or something..."

He takes another breath and pinches his brow. "Alright, kid. And if all goes to shit and nothing is what we prepared for?"

"We protect Bakugou, try to call for reinforcements, and we fight like hell."

A/N

I finally got to the blood bending part! I've been looking forward to this for a while but wanted to wait until the Summer Training Camp for (Y/n) to really evolve.

Also, I'm considering making a QNA? If anyone is interested in that ^^;;

-->You can leave your questions here! They can be for me or for the characters!

I'm going to keep it open for two weeks and will check whatever questions that may be posted and answer them on April 12th, 2020.

Thank you for reading, stay safe!!
