Soap - Truth Serum

Sleepy moment I forgot to label this my bad

"S-Soap? You there?" I winced as I woke up, weakly calling out for the man I took this unfortunate mission with.
"Right here Y/n" he sighed out from behind me. We were back to back, both tied to cheap metal chairs. The mission was supposed to go smoothly. We get in, defuse the bomb, get out. Instead - we got in, defused the bomb and got knocked out. I probably have a massive lump on my forehead from them.
"This isn't good Soap. We need to get out of here. What will they do to us?" I fidgeted, looking around the room for any way out of here, any way to cut us from the ropes that bound us.
"Calm down, okay? We'll make it out of here, just trust me." His voice was gentle as he tried to soothe me.

"Oh you will, will you?" A door opened, revealing a man with a smug grin on his lips. He wore an apron painted with splatters of blood, in his hand was two syringes. Two guards followed him in and the door was shut behind them. The room was cold enough but this man made it seem even colder. A shiver ran down my spine.
"Well, if you really think you'll make it out of here, you'll have to answer my questions honestly. If I don't get what I want, I'll try these little syringes on you and you'll get to experience their full effect when I start sawing. Make sense?"ย  The man wiggled the syringes in his hand, staring at the both of us. He was side on from both of us but I didn't look at him, and neither did Soap. We were silent, remembering what we were trained to do.

"No answer, huh? No self preservation... no heroics for your partner?" He thought, humming to himself. "How did you find out about the bomb?" He asked.
We were silent. We weren't going to answer his questions, let alone correct him calling us partners.
"How did you find out about how to defuse the bomb?" He continued to question. There was no answer. I felt Soaps finger reach out and link with mine as our hands were tied close together. It was comforting.
"How did you find the location of the bomb? Is there an informant?" Another one of the man's questions going unanswered made him sigh. "You really want me to use the serum, huh..."

I didn't even see him coming up to me before a needle was stuck into my neck. I yelped out in pain, the serum flowing into me, burning and stinging. The needle wasn't even thin enough to not feel. My body fully tensed and I violently shook in my chair as he continued to empty the syringe out into me.
"Y/n! Get your hands off of them or so help me god-" Soap yelled out, struggling in his restraints.
"Don't worry, you'll get your shot too," the man spoke with an audible grin, his other hand reaching out and stabbing the other syringe into Soaps neck as he was still emptying mine. I slouched over when he took the syringe out of my neck but I could still feel soap struggling behind me. I curled my finger around his as he had done earlier. He squeezed my finger hard.

The man gave us a few minutes for the serum to take effect. It made me feel sick. The room swayed, my head hurt and I was starting to feel a mix of high with drunkenness. A truth serum? How would he have that?

"Let's restart. What are your names?"
Silence no longer seemed like an option, not because it was impossible but because words wanted to flow out of my mouth.
"Soap" I grinned, answering so extremely truthfully
"I'm Y/n," Soap did the same. The man groaned out in annoyance.
"I know your goddamn names, enough to know you two are idiots." He turned around and looked to a table on wheels. It had many drawers, but the signs of what is was for were already resting on top. Saws, drills, knives - that sort of thing. Not intimidating at all. Truthfully, I mean. The serum worked wonders on the nerves

"Okay I was joking- they're soap, you're Y/n." Soap chuckled. The man only sighed and ignored us as he set up his weapons.
"No, you're Y/n, he's soap." I argued, rolling my eyes.
"You're right, my apologies, honey." He swayed his head happily.
"Damn right, we raise three lovely kids for you to not even remember your own name - that's why little Tim is telling his friends his daddy was in world war 2." I tutted.
"You have kids, huh?" The man spun on his heel, excitement in his voice, "wouldn't want to leave them parentless, would you?"
"Oh no, we wouldn't... if the kids were real..." Soap laughed again. The man was immediately angered, fist swinging around right into soaps jaw, silencing his laughter with a new bruise.
"From now on you speak when spoken to. You hear me? And you only speak the truth." He reached over and grabbed a knife from his table before pointing it at the two of us. We both nodded obediently.

"Is there an informant?" He asked again, actually trusting us to answer. We nodded. He grinned. "Who is the informant?"
"Your mum." I couldn't help myself. He let out more than a groan of annoyance, it was more like a yell. He stabbed his knife right into my thigh. Too bad the serum numbed it down a little.
"Woah... not cool" my eyes looked from the knife to him, "how come he just gets punched and I get stabbed. That's so not fair!" I yelled at him.
"I can do a whole lot more than that, so it's in your best interest to answer my questions truthfully."
"I did!"
"Yeah, they did! We even saw her in person. You should really tell her to wash sometime, just thinking about her brings the stench back to my nose..." soap started letting out gagging noises.

"SHUT UP! shut up. How did you find out about the bomb"
"The skies speak, the winds whisper, the ground mutters and your mum stinks-" before I could continue insulting his mother, he grabbed the knife in my thigh and twisted it. It hurt now. It hurt a lot. "Owowowow okay okay I'll tell you- I'll tell you! Okay!!"
"Is there an informant" he leant over me, his breath against my head, his hand still on the knife's handle. The more I was silent the more he started to twist.
"N-no! no!" I yelped.
"No? Then how did you find out about our bomb?"
"Give 'em a break, your breath is overwhelming. Atleast take a few steps back." Soap interrupted.
"Shut up... fucking Scot"
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me. You're just a nasty old man who smells like aged cullen skink." Soap sassed.
"You go girl-" I tried to cheer him on but the knife was twisted yet again.

"You two- you're like children. The serum is NOT supposed to do that. I've had enough- okay?! I'll come back when you're normal." He wiped his hands down his face in annoyance, both because he's wasting time and because he just had to deal with us.

"But I have secrets, you just didn't ask the right questions to get them..." I leaned forwards as much as I could in my seat, flashing him a wide smile.
"What? What secrets?" He knelt down beside me, holding my knee and showing a kind expression. Is he trying to manipulate me into thinking he's nice now?
"I'm in love with Soap. He's just so dreamy and kind and so incredibly attractive... you can't blame me can you? I bet you've got a little crush on him too." A weakly kicked my feet, as much as I could do with a knife in my thigh. Maybe this truth serum did work - but not in the way the man intended it to.
"Y/n I feel the same way! I am dreamy and kind and incredibly attractive. But I also love you lass, and I bet our friend here loves us both-" soap was interrupted by me yelping at the knife being twisted and removed from my thigh. I watched the blood start to seep out with no real worry, though there definitely should be some.
"Can we get married then?" I groaned out, "have a massive mansion, he can be our butler." I glared at the man with the bloody knife in his hand while talking to soap.
"Yeah, and Price would be the grandpa to our 7 pet dogs" I could hear soaps grin.
"Price? Is he on your team? Did he give you the mission?" The man's depressed expression returned to excitement.
"Price...? Who's that?" Soap looked down, pretending he didn't know what he'd just said.

A loud commotion started going on outside. Several gunshots ringing out, one even hit the door. The man started to panic, hiding behind the guards he'd brought in. The door swung open to reveal none other than-
"Price!" We both called out, even happier at his arrival than the fact we'd just confessed to each other under the effects of a truth serum. Price shot the two guards and knocked out the torturer incredibly quickly before heading over to us both.

"Are you two okay? I got here as fast as I could when your comms went dark. Did you defuse the bomb?" Price was untying the ropes around us like a knot untying professional.
"We did that yeah... yep we did. Mhm." I agreed with myself. Price paused.
"Why are you acting like that?"
"Have I ever told you how lucky I feel to have you as my captain?" I answered.
"He's the best, of course he knows already." Soap agreed with same kind of tone which confused price more.
"Are you drunk? How'd you get drunk?" Price took a step back instead of finishing untying us, though my wound distracted him when he finally saw it. The blood was dripping down my leg, splattering onto the floor. He started pulling things out of his vest, quickly and tightly wrapping a bandage around my leg at the affected area.
"I think he used a truth serum... sir." The pain was really starting to sober me up.
"You both seem to have had weird reactions to it." He sighed before finishing untying us. "Soap, you help them up and help them to exfil with me. Don't let them walk on that leg. I'll take our buddy over here" price bent down and picked the torturer up. Butler dream coming true.

Soap stood up and basically picked me up to stand me up. He wrapped an arm around me but instead of using it to help me move he used it to keep me up as he pressed his lips against mine. It wasn't too complicated of a kiss, but it was definitely a kiss. We were interrupted by Price finally looking back at us and seeing what was going on.
"Do that later, you muppets." He glared before walking off with our butler.
